Recently, concerns about health risks exposed to electromagnetic fields have been brought in the safety of electric power lines. A number of governmental and international organizations have advised to avoid the magnetic field exposure to the schools and residential areas. Some epidemiologic studies showed that electromagnetic fields should not exceed the exposure limits of 2-3mG to the people living near high-voltage transmission lines. In this study, the principles, ranges and survey methods of the assessment for powerfrequency electromagnetic fields were reviewed from the relevant research papers and documents. The ranges of electromagnetic fields were determined from 50m to 100m and have been defined according to the properties of each electric power lines and a new methodology was suggested in this study. It would be necessary to develop and improve specific assessment methods for various high-voltage transmission lines projects.
This Paper Presents assessment of fuzzy measure Possibility far the electromagnetic field according to voltage fluctuation of the Jechon Area. To cope with substantial electromagnetic analysis, the safety assessment were analyzed the double 154kV T/L, 345kV T/L, Jechon-Ichon Jechon-Youngju, respectively. As the results of case study, in case of 345kV T/L, the electric field value was 11.4927kV/m, magnetic field value was 0.4622G at the Point about 7m away from the line in severest case. Tn assessment of fuzzy measure Possibility for the electromagnetic field, this paper use probability of fuzzy and measure of fuzziness technique.

This paper studies a convenient electromagnetic field (EMF) compliance assessment for base station installations at a millimeter wave (mmW) frequency. We utilize ray-tracing analysis as a numerical method for examining the wave propagation characteristic. Various installation cases are considered and the important parameters with a significant effect on the maximum power density levels are produced. We finally suggest the several scenarios for the convenient assessment of mmW base stations, which allow us to conduct cost effective computational tests compared with the current assessment procedure in the guideline.
This paper presents a study on the assessment of fuzzy measure possibility for the electromagnetic field of unbalanced system. It takes into account m untransposed transmission line and unbalanced load. A three phase load flow program was developed which employs a Newton-Raphson method as a tool to analyze system unbalanced. This research presents a method of handling two coupled three phase transmission system unbalance analysis and unbalanced power demand as a function of voltages. In assessment of fuzzy measure possibility for the electromagnetic field, this paper use probability of fuzzy and measure of fuzziness technique.
This paper presents a study on the fuzzy linguistic variable based approach for safety assessment of human body in ELF electromagnetic field considering power system states. To cope with the demand in modern industry, the power system becomes larger in scale, higher in voltage. The advent of high voltage system has increased the relative importance of field effects. The analysis of ELF electromagnetic field based on Quasi-Static Method is introduced while the power system is included to model the expected and/or unexpected uncertainty caused by the load fluctuation and parameter changes. In order to analyze the power system, Monte Carlo simulation method and contingency analysis method are adopted in normal state and alert state, respectively. In the safety assessment of human body, the approach based on fuzzy linguistic variable is employed to overcome the shortcomings resulting from a crisp set concept. The suggested scheme is applied to a sample system(modified IEEE 14 bus system) to validate the usefulness.

A pilot study was undertaken to examine the possible health effects of electromagnetic fields(EMFs). The purpose of this study was to investigate of the EMFs exposures of personal environment, 60Hz magnetic fields. An experimental study was performed for six weeks of January-February 1998 to compare changes in melatonin levels in urine of 20 subjects during their normal sleeping hours and each 20 subjects in occupational and non-occupational group measured personal 24-h continual exposure, using EMDEX II (for 40-800Hz, Enertech Consultant, Inc.). An urine samples were collected 3 times a day(before sleep or around 24:00 ; immediately after wake-up ; around noon) for an week from each subjects and analyzed by radioimmunoassay. This study did not significant difference for the subjective average melatonin levels between occupational and nonoccupational groups exposed to electromagnetic fields. The mean personal exposure levels of occupational group were $0.215{\mu}T$, whereas non-occupational group were $0.18{\mu}T$. Occupational group were exposed more highly while at work. Finally, this study would provide significant data for furture study of exposure assessment of magnetic fields. A large scale study concerning more detailed exposure assessment should provide important information on health risk assessment of MFs. Further study should provide information on the contribution of various sources and the relationship between melatonin and immune system activity.

In this paper, economic loss due to high power electromagnetic pulse is estimated and the methodology used for calculating its impacts is suggested using a macro approach. In order to investigate the most critical infrastructure for the high power electromagnetic pulse assault, the vulnerability assessment that provides information on the threats of concern is conducted. As a result, this study concentrates on the electric power networks. The presented assessment model is considered with gross domestic product (GDP) and energy consumption when the electric power networks are damaged due to high power electromagnetic pulse. In addition, economic losses are calculated by the extent of damages considering different types of the high power electromagnetic pulse assault generated by nuclear and man-made weapon. Through the estimation of these damages, the resulted economic loss will be compared with the protection cost. Consequently, protection of the vulnerable infrastructures can be prepared against electromagnetic pulse attack.

This paper presents an efficient methodology for accurate reliability assessment of electromagnetic devices. To achieve the goal, elaborate surrogated models to approximate constraint functions of interest are generated based on the dynamic Kriging method and a hypercube local window. Then, the Monte Carlo simulation scheme is applied to the surrogate models. This leads to reducing computational cost dramatically without degrading accuracy of the reliability analysis. The validity of the proposed method is tested and examined with a mathematical example and a loudspeaker design.
This paper presents assessment of possibility on the human risk for the electromagnetic field of unbalanced two coupled three-phase transmission line using fuzzy theory. Three phase load flow program was developed which employed a Newton-Raphson method as a tool to analyze system unbalanced. This research presents a method of handling two coupled three phase transmission system unbalance analysis and unbalanced power demand as a function of voltages. As the results of case study, in case of 345[kV] T/L, the electric field intensity was 10.9540[kV/m], magnetic field intensity was 0.2567[G] in severest case. The results showed that the membership of a proposition fuzzy '10.9540 [kV/m] is hazardous' is 0.6349. As the analytic results using the fuzzy qualifier term, the membership in case of very false is 0.1379 and fairly false is 0.6124, respectively. In assessment of fuzzy measure possibility for the electromagnetic field, this paper used probability of fuzzy arid measure of fuzziness technique.
The recent power systems are very complex and to model them completely is impractical for analysis of electromagnetic transient Therefore areas outside the immediate area of interest must be represented by some form of Frequency Dependent Network Equivalent (FDNE). In this paper a method for developing Frequency Dependent Network Equivalent (FDNE) using S-domain rational Function Fitting is presented and demonstrated. The FDNE is generated by Linearized Least Squares Fitting(LSF) of the frequency response of a S-domain formulation. This Three-port FDNE have been applied to the test AC power system. The electromagnetic transient package PSCAD/EMTDC is used to assess the transient response of the Three-port FDNE developed under different condition. The study results have indicated the robustness and accuracy of Three-port FDNE for analisys of electromagnetic transient and harmonic assessment.
