Purpose: Electric vehicle (EV) technology started in 2015 in Thailand. The Thai Government has indicated that 30% of all cars produced in Thailand by 2025 will be EVs. Using EVs in Thailand will reduce road pollution and increase energy efficiency, especially in major cities. Hence, the adoption of EVs in the country has been promoted. This study pointed out that social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived enjoyment, environmental concern, attitude, and perceived behavioral control are key factors affecting the behavioral intention to adopt EVs among logistic and distribution firms in Thailand. Research design, data, and methodology: 500 top management, middle management and purchasing managers of logistic and distribution firms in Thailand are surveyed. The study employed judgmental, convenience, and snowball sampling. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Structural Equation Model (SEM) are the main statistical tools for data analysis. Results: The results show that all determinants impact customers' willingness to adopt EVs, except perceived enjoyment and environmental control. Conclusions: The study proposes to promote the incentives by decreasing electricity prices and endorsing EVs purchase to accelerate the adoption of EVs in Thailand. Therefore, future policies should focus on behavioral intention toward EVs amongst logistic and distribution firms for enhancing the future of mobility in Thailand.

A novel smart metering technique capable of anomaly detection was proposed for real-time home power management system. Smart meter data generated in real-time were obtained from 900 households of single apartments. To detect outliers and missing values in smart meter data, a deep learning model, the autoencoder, consisting of a graph convolutional network and bidirectional long short-term memory network, was applied to the smart metering technique. Power management based on the smart metering technique was executed by multi-objective optimization in the presence of a battery storage system and an electric vehicle. The results of the power management employing the proposed smart metering technique indicate a reduction in electricity cost and amount of power supplied by the grid compared to the results of power management without anomaly detection.

Environmental regulations are becoming more stringent in response to climate change, especially concerning marine pollution caused by ship emissions. Large ships are adjusting by integrating technologies to reduce pollutant emissions and transitioning to eco-friendly fuels such as low-sulfur oil and LNG. However, small ships face space constraints for installing LNG propulsion systems and the risk of power depletion with pure electric propulsion. Consequently, there's growing interest in researching hybrid propulsion methods that combine electricity and diesel for smaller vessels. Hybrid propulsion systems utilize diverse energy sources, requiring an effective method for evaluating their efficiency. This study proposes employing Bond graph modeling to comprehensively analyze energy dynamics within hybrid propulsion systems, facilitating better understanding and optimization of their efficiency. Modeling of the ship's energy system using Bond graphs will be able to provide a framework for integrating various energy sources and evaluating their effects.
Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) will be widely used in future transportation systems to reduce oil fuel consumption. Therefore, the electrical energy demand will be increased due to the charging of a large number of vehicles. Without intelligent control strategies, the charging process can easily overload the electricity grid at peak hours. In this paper, we consider a smart charging and discharging process for multiple PHEVs in a building's garage to optimize the energy consumption profile of the building. We formulate a centralized optimization problem in which the building controller or planner aims to minimize the square Euclidean distance between the instantaneous energy demand and the average demand of the building by controlling the charging and discharging schedules of PHEVs (or 'users'). The PHEVs' batteries will be charged during low-demand periods and discharged during high-demand periods in order to reduce the peak load of the building. In a decentralized system, we design an energy cost-sharing model and apply a non-cooperative approach to formulate an energy charging and discharging scheduling game, in which the players are the users, their strategies are the battery charging and discharging schedules, and the utility function of each user is defined as the negative total energy payment to the building. Based on the game theory setup, we also propose a distributed algorithm in which each PHEV independently selects its best strategy to maximize the utility function. The PHEVs update the building planner with their energy charging and discharging schedules. We also show that the PHEV owners will have an incentive to participate in the energy charging and discharging game. Simulation results verify that the proposed distributed algorithm will minimize the peak load and the total energy cost simultaneously.
Because LRT project is large infrastructure projects investing enormous budget and required continuous maintenance after construction, it is the global trend to perform business in terms of life-cycle from the initial construction, operation to disposal. It is very important LRT to manage interfaces efficiently and to integrate vehicle, civil, track, electricity, communications, signals, operations, facilities organically. Global companies of the railway developed countries including Europe are getting orders a large rail project and preempting the world market based on engineering technology. But, domestic LRT systems engineering is the subcontracting level to the lack of practical skills and experience. Thus, technology securement is very urgent for the independence of systems engineering technology and overseas advance based turnkey. In this paper, we are going to study applicable systems engineering technology focusing on LRT system based on international standard ISO/IEC 15288.
It is important to consider power stability in case of design and construction of a substation at railroad because a train is operated by electricity and tains are drived simultaneous at the same section. This paper described stability of feeder system considering driving conditions and railroad conditions of train which is drived. Simulation tool, TOM(Train Operations Model) software is used to ensure stability of feeder system. As results of simulation, feeder voltage source is in limits on driving operation dia of trains.

Due to the rapid increase of automobiles and daily driving distances, air pollution by automobiles is still dominant problem of large city in spite of strict emission refutation and development of reduction technologies. Among the air pollution resources of automobile , industry. electricity generation and heating. automobile keeps 51% of total nationwide air pollution in 1998 and this proportion Is increasing in large cities from 65% to 85%. To reduce these air pollution. catalytic converter and electronic engine control, exhaust gas re-circulation and evaporative emission control system have continuously developed and applied to automobiles since 1987. Also strong emission standards and emission durability warranty have enforced and monitored annually by sampling several vehicle models. But technologies and regulations are incomplete, driver should participate in reducing air pollution for himself by planning driving, avoiding unnecessary idle and air conditioning, keeping periodic maintenance and using mass transportation.
In order to help develop more comfortable seat cover fabrics, this study primarily surveyed the actual using conditions and the consumers' opinions of the seat cover fabrics. The results of this study were as follows: 1) The colors of seat cover fabric were mostly achromatic. Regarding comsumers' satisfaction on the colors of seat cover fabric, comsumers in their 20's were less satisfied than other age groups. Most unsatisfied consumers prefered bright colors. 2) On the materials of seat cover fabric, synthethic leather and woven were most widely used. Real leather was most prefered due to its luxury and tactile sensation. Woven was secondarily prefered due to its price and tactile sensation. About fourty percent of consumers covered the seat with other cover fabrics because of soil and other reasons. It will be useful if they could choose and change the seat cover fabircs with different materials and colors. 3) When consumers used the seat cover fabrics, the problems that they indicated were not durability and colorfastness but low breathablity during sweating, static electricity, soil, firmness, and cool sensation at the first contact.
Recently metropolitan local governments is actively introducing urban railway's expand and light rail transit as a means of new transport system. DC electricity feeder system operating in the domestic urban railway is typically a feedback circuit consisted of the contact wire and electric railway vehicle via rail. But stray current is to be defined as a current flowing on a structure that is not part of the intended electrical circuit with respect to a given structure. Stray current is generally results from the leakage of return currents from large DC traction systems that are grounded or have a bad earth-insulated return path. At the place where the current leaves the rail and metallic structures, electrolytic corrosion may take place. This paper presents comparison analysis of field test methods based on criteria of electrolytic corrosion protection of buried metallic structures adjacent to DC traction systems.

FCEV uses electric energy generated from fuel cell stack, thus all consisting parts must be re-designed to be suitable for electricity based system. Cathode air blower which supplies compressed air into fuel cell stack has similar shape of turbocharger, but a radial turbine of traditional turbocharger is removed and high speed BLDC motor is installed . Generally, maximum 10% of electric power of fuel cell stack is consumed in air blower, therefore an effective design of air blower can improve the performance of FCEV directly. This study will present an aerodynamic design process of an air blower and compare computational results with experimental data.
