In this study, a reduction method of leakage current in a three-level photovoltaic power-conditioning system (PCS) is proposed and verified by simulation and experiment. Leakage current generation is analyzed through an equivalent model of the common mode voltage considering a significant parasitic capacitance existing between the photovoltaic array and ground. A leakage current reduction method using pulse-width modulation (PWM) method is also proposed, and a 10-kW three-level photovoltaic PCS simulation and experiment is performed with a $1{\mu}F$ parasitic capacitor based on 100 nF/kW. The proposed method using the PWM method is verified to reduce the leakage current by 73% compared with the conventional PWM method.
The purpose of this paper is to study the correlation application that electrical fire causes occurs for overcurrent and leakage current signals in the indoor wiring. In the order to purpose, the causes data of overcurrent, or leakage current of electrical fire are drawn out referring to past studies, consulting with experts and experimental data. The correlation application was then applied with fuzzy logic of intelligent technique. To check the reliability and performance of the correlation application, modified center of area(CoA) was adopted to calculate the possibility that electrical fire occurs, whose value was then compared to the results. The chance of electrical fire calculated is higher when two causes of fire are put into the CoA of the correlation application of this paper than that of when each cause is separately put into the CoA. The correlation application developed in this study enables better analysis on possible electrical fire due to overcurrent, or leakage current and provides managers with the possibility of electrical fire so that they can better manage at a time of overcurrent, or leakage current.

When the clamp meter approaches the electric path where current is flowing, leakage current can be measured at a distance from the electric current because the induced current increases as the magnitude of the current increases and approaches nearer to the electric path. Therefore, measurements were carried out from a distance to avoid this effect. In addition, the measured values differ depending on the location of the power line that penetrates the ZCT of the clamp meter, thus measurements were performed at a location where this effect was minimized. The fraction of compliant branch circuits, whose leakage current was lower than 1.00 mA, was found to be 69.0% out of the total of 439 branch circuits, while the percentage of compliant branch circuits having an insulation resistance higher than $0.20M{\Omega}$ was found to be 93.2%. The reason why the percentage of compliant branch circuits with low leakage current was low might be due to the inclusion of capacitive leakage current in the total measured leakage current.

It is important to measure the resistive component separately from the total leakage current at power distribution line. It is because electric disasters such as electric shock and fire are caused mainly by the resistive component of the total leakage current. In this paper, a new theory for measuring the resistive component separately from the total leakage current is suggested, and is embodied to an actual circuit using operational amplifiers, analog switch and R-C low pass filter. Through experiments for various cases containing both the resistive and capacitive leakage currents, the suggested algorithm is confirmed to be able to measure the resistive leakage current within 4.1% of error even when the capacitive leakage current is much bigger than the resistive one. The suggested method is expected to lower the total cost because it can be realized using simple and cheap devices, and implies the measuring time can be possibly reduced because the resistive leakage current is computed exactly from the signals during only a half period of power voltage.
We applied SP monitoring and resistivity surveys using the pole-pole electrode array to seawater leakage problems in the Youngsan estuary dam and the Eoeun embankment to estimate and detect the zone of seawater leakage. The embankment is generally affected by tidal variation and has low resistivity characteristics due to the high saturation of seawater. For this reason, SP monitoring and the pole-pole array resistivity surveys, which are relatively more effective to the conductive media, were carried out to delineate the leakage zones of sea water through the embankment. We checked out electrical conductivity (EC) and temperature variations along the inner part of Youngsan estuary dam to detect the zone of seawater leakage and found that the measured EC value agreed to that of seawater in the leakage zone and the temperature was lower than that of the vicinity of leakage zone. SP monitoring results were coincided with tidal variations at each embankment. At the leakage zones in the Youngsan estuary dam and the Eoeun embankment, SP anomalies are in the range of -60~-85 mV and -20~-50 mV, respectively, and true resistivity values obtained by 2-D inversion are 3~15 ohm-m and below 0.3 ohm-m, respectively. Both SP monitoring and the pole-pole array resistivity method are found to be quite effective for investigation of seawater leakage zones in the embankment.

In this paper, we developed a diagnosis device for ZnO arrester to detect on-line leakage current and acquire data from the power distribution system. The arrester is important power equipment used in power transmission and distribution systems to protect the generator and the main transformer from surge and overvoltage. First of all we developed a diagnosis device for ZnO arrester leakage current. And then we detect the total leakage current by the developed device without disconnecting the arrester ground wire and analysis the 3rd order harmonic by Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) to diagnose the ZnO arrester deterioration. With measuring the total current and the resistive current of power distribution system in operation, we analysis the trend of resistive current component in the total leakage current. We expect the result will be promote the method to protect electrical utility and customer from accident.

Every year respect a countermeasure establishment the electric leakage detection system and electric leakage investigation work are becoming enforcement line plentifully in about the electric leakage accident which is increasing, measuring in compliance with a most ground connection voltage and an image electric current mainly is become accomplished, inputs a pulsation group signal in the line and detects a signal change between the line a method which there is. In order to investigate the quality in compliance with an electric leakage electric current from the electric leakage area after conferring the electric leakage environment in compliance with a flooding when the electric leakage electric current exists in the surface, it investigated the electric leakage electric current quality from the electric current distribution and flooded districts from the present paper.

Resistive leakage current flowing ZnO blocks increases with its ages, which is an important indicator of arrester deterioration. However, a complicated circuitry is essential to measure the resistive leakage current included in the total leakage current, and the difficult handling of the measurement makes few applications to the fields. In this paper, we propose a resistive leakage current measurement device which is composed of a current detection circuit and an analysis program operated on a microprocessor. The device samples the input leakage current waveform digitally, and discriminate the zero-cross and the peak point of the waveform to analyze the current amplitude vs. phase. The capacitive leakage current is then eliminated from the total leakage current by using an algorithm to extract the resistive leakage current only. Also, the device can be operated automatically and manually to analyze the resistive leakage current even when the leakage current waveform is distorted due to various types of arrester deterioration. To estimate the performance of the device, we carried out a test on ZnO blocks and lightning arresters. From the results, it is confirmed that the device could analyze most parameters needed for the arrester diagnostics such as total leakage current. resistive leakage current, and the $3^rd$ harmonic leakage current.
This paper deals with the analysis of field condition for earth leakage current alarming system in the stage lighting, stage sound stage machinery installation. These analyses of field condition were carried out in accordance with investigating an installation of earth leakage current alarming system with respect to a main line of power source, dimmer, sound equipment, machinery mobile unit equipment and so on. As a result of analyses. The earth leakage current alarming system has been installed only a part of the main line of power source and the probability of places which were installed was less than 50(%). Therefore, it is desirable that the earth leakage current alarming system is installed at places which are suitable, for example, dimmer, each kind machinery etc. in order to prevent electrical hazard.

It is necessary to study the prevention and the management of electrical facilities because the electrical fault took place at the dust occurrence area due to environmental pollution. In particular, the dust accumulates easily on insulation material which is exposed an external long time. The leakage current brings out electrical fault after all. Also, it is need to variation of material and shape to repress a leakage current on electrical material. In this paper, we measured a leakage current on electrical material of facilities by dust, and in experiments the prevention to electrical fault was studied.
