The inspection and seismic design method of electrical facility instated in the building (건축물에 시설되는 수변전설비 내진설계 및 검사 방법에 관한 연구)

  • Incase of not considered seismic design at transformer vault which is made of many informant electrical facility, facility is damaged, electrical fire breaks out and second damage is able to break out at generating earthquake. But seismic design yet is not applied to at transformer vault in the country. Regard to seismic design method of electrical facility installed in the building internal, we present the seismic design of electrical facility using "Building construction design standard" in internal and "Manual of seismic design and construction for Building Electrical facility" in japan.   • Electrical grounding is defined as referencing an electrical circuit or a common reference plane for preventing shock hazards and for enhancing operability of the circuit and EMI control. In order to realize the best electrical grounding system of korean space launch vehicle, we should design the electrical grounding architecture of korean space launch vehicle of system-level at the earliest point in design procedure. To minimize the electrical grounding loop and the unnecessary electromagnetic interference or radiation among the electronic subsystems, we should establish the electrical grounding rules of the all electrical interfaces. The electrical interfaces among the electronic subsystems are generally classified into the electrical power and signal interfaces. Because of using the primary and secondary power system architecture in the korean space launch vehicle system such as the common space launch vehicle systems, we need to establish the electrical grounding rules between the primary and secondary power system. We also need to establish the electrical signal grounding interface rules among the electronic subsystems. In this paper, we will describe the grounding schemes of the common space launch vehicle system and propose a conceptual design for the electrical grounding architecture of korean space launch vehicle system.

  • In the case of that not considered seismic design at transformer vault which is equipped with many important electrical facilities, the facility is damaged, electrical fire breaks out and another damage may be caused due to earthquake. But seismic design has not yet applied to transformer vault in the country. Regard to seismic design method of electrical facility installed inside the building, the seismic design procedures for electrical facility is presented in this parer, which has been developed by referring "Building design standard" of domestic code and "Manual of seismic design and construction for building electrical facility" in japan. This paper may help engineers perform detail seismic design, construction and reliability inspection of electrical pipes and facilities.

  • A novel 3D shape optimization algorithm is presented for electromagnetic devices carry-ing eddy current. The algorithm integrates the 3D finite element performance analysis and the steepest descent method with design sensitivity and mesh relocation method. For the design sensitivity formula, the adjoint variable vector is defined in complex form based on the 3D finite element method for eddy current problems. A new 3D mesh relocation method is also proposed using the deformation theory of the elastic body under stress to renew the mesh as the shape changes. The design sensitivity f3r the sur-face nodal points is also systematically converted into that for the design variables for the parameterized optimization application. The proposed algorithm is applied to the optimum design of the tank shield model of the transformer and the effectiveness is proved.

  • In this paper, we have proposed a design and verification methods of electrical system and power loads for unmaned aeriel vehicles(UAVs) through electrical load analysis. In order to meet a UAV system requirement and electrical system specifications, we have designed an electrical power system for efficient power supply and distribution and have theoretically analyzed the power loads according to the power consumption and power bus design of UAV. Using electrical system rig, the designed electrical power system has been experimentally verified. Also, we have performed several flight tests to verify the UAV electrical system and power loads. It is concluded that the proposed design and verification method of electrical system for UAV system.

  • High frequency full bridge series resonant inverters have become increasingly popular among power supply designers. One of the most important parameter for a High Frequency Full Bridge Series Resonant Inverter is optimal coil design. The optimal coil designing procedure is not a easy task. This paper deals with the New Approach to Optimal Design Procedure for a Real-time High Frequency Full Bridge Series Resonant Inverter in Induction Heating Equipment devices. A new design to experimental modelling of the physical properties and a practical power input simulation process for the non-sinusoidal input waveform is accepted. The design sensitivity analysis with Levenberg-Marquardt technique is used for the optimal design process. The proposed technique is applied to an Induction Heating Equipment devices model and the result is verified by real-time experiment. The main advantages of this design technique is to achieve more accurate temperature control with a huge amount of power saving.

  • An optimally designed six-phase induction motor (6PIM) is compared with an initial design induction motor having the same ratings. The Genetic Algorithm (GA) method is used for optimization and multi objective function is considered. Comparison of the optimum design with the initial design reveals that better performance can be obtained by a simple optimization method. Also in this paper each design of 6PIM, is simulated by MAXWELL_2D. The obtained simulation results are compared in order to find the most suitable solution for the specified application, considering the influence of each design upon the motor performance. Construction a 6PIM based on the information obtained from GA method has been done. Quality parameters of the designed motors, such as: efficiency, power losses and power factor measured and optimal design has been evaluated. Laboratory tests have proven the correctness of optimal design.

  • The existing electrical engineering design method and the dynamic objective function in the application process of automatic control system fail to meet the unbounded condition, which affects the control tracking accuracy. In order to improve the tracking control accuracy, this paper studies the electrical engineering design method based on neural network and the application of automatic control system. This paper analyzes the structure and working mechanism of electrical engineering automation control system by an automation control model with main control objectives. Following the analysis, an optimal solution of controllability design and fault-tolerant control is figured out. The automatic control power coefficient is distributed based on an ideal control effect of system. According to the distribution results, an automatic control algorithm is based on neural network for accurate control. The experimental results show that the electrical automation control method based on neural network can significantly reduce the control following error to 3.62%, improve the accuracy of the electrical automation tracking control, thus meeting the actual production needs of electrical engineering automation control system.

  • For the optimal design of electromagnetic device involving uncertainties in design variables, this paper proposes a new reliability-based optimal design algorithm for multiple constraints problems. Through optimizing the nominal objective function and maximizing the minimum reliability, a set of global optimal reliable solutions representing different reliability levels are obtained by the multi-objective particle swarm optimization algorithm. Applying the sensitivity-assisted Monte Carlo simulation method, the numerical efficiency of optimization procedure is guaranteed. The proposed reliability-based algorithm supplying multi-reliable solutions is investigated through applications to analytic examples and the optimal design of two electromagnetic problems.

  • Switched reluctance motor (SRM) has some advantages such as low cost, high torque density etc. However SRM has inevitably high torque ripple due to the double salient structure. To apply SRM to industrial field, we have to minimize torque ripple, which is the weak-Point of SRM. This paper presents optimal design process of SRM using numerical method such as 2D finite element method (FEM) and 3D equivalent magnetic circuit network method (EMCNM). The electrical and geometrical design parameters have been adopted as 2D design variables. The overhang structure of rotor has been also adopted as 3D design variable. From this work, we can obtain the optimal design, which minimize the torque ripple and maximize energy conversion loop.
