차량 전장 부품 특성이 MDPS 조타 토크에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Vehicle Electric Components on the Steering Input Torque)

  • For the robust design of Motor Driven Power Steering (MDPS) systems, it is important to consider energy efficiency from every aspect such as system configuration and current flow, etc. If design optimization is not considered, it has many problems on a vehicle. For example, when evaluating steering test, particularly the Catch-up test which turning the steering wheel left or right quickly, steering effort should be increased rapidly. Also a vehicle might have poor fuel efficiency. In this study, it is calculated energy consumption for each component of the steering system and analyzed factors of energy consumption. As a result, this paper redefines a method to estimate steering input torque using characteristics of vehicle electric components and then conducts an analysis of contribution for the Catch-up.

도시철도 직류 전력량 계측을 위한 직류용 스마트미터링 시스템 개발 및 성능시험 (Development and Performance Test of DC Smart Metering System for the DC Power Measurement of Urban Railway)

  • DC urban railway power system consists of DC power network and AC power network. The DC power network supplies electric power to railway vehicles and the AC power network supplies electric power to station electric equipment. Recently, because of power consumption reduction and peak load shaving, intelligent measurement of regenerative energy and renewable energy adapted on DC urban railway is required. For this reason, DC smart metering system for DC power network shall be developed. Therefore, in this paper, DC voltage sensor, current sensor, and DC smart meter were developed and evaluated by performance test. DC voltage sensor was developed for measuring standard voltage range of DC urban railway, and DC current sensor was developed as hall effect split core type in order to install in existing system. DC smart meter possesses function of general intelligent electric power meter, such as measuring electricity and wireless communication etc. And, DC voltage sensor showed average 0.17% of measuring error for 2,000V/50mA, and current sensor showed average 0.21% of measuring error for ${\pm}2,000V/{\pm}4V$ in performance test. Also DC smart meter showed maximum 0.92% of measuring error for output of voltage sensor and current sensor. In similar environment for real DC power network, measuring error rate was under 0.5%. In conclusion, accuracy of DC smart metering system was confirmed by performance test, and more detailed performance will be verified by further real operation DC urban railway line test.

코로나방전에 의한 AUTO-BIAS형태의 전기집진에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Electrostatic Precipitation of Auto-Bias Type by Corona Discharge)

  • The electrostatic precipitation of Auto- Bias has the advantages of a little of power consumption by the voltage to apply only at ionizer and the prevention of fire danger by current flow over. As this ionizer wire was used WXN- Pt material of diameter 90$\mu $m, that improved ion efficiency and safety, simplified a existing source of electric power by induced Auto- Bias voltage. Also, the new type collector used electric conductivity- film wag superior a electric safety and dust collection efficiency and was possible to wash it by water. As a experiment result of this Auto- Bias electrostatic collector, the induced Auto- Bias voltage by appling D.C 4.0∼6.0kV at ionizer was 1.3∼2.3kV and then the power consumption by applied voltage was 8- l8W. The pressure loss of collector by the amount of flowing was 6.1 OmmH$_{2}$O in 300m$^{3}$/hr and showed a safe state of the dust collection. The collection efficiency by particle size was 65.1-95.8% in 0.5∼5.0$\mu $m. After corona discharge of ionizer, the remains ozone concentration was found much lower than that of ACGIH or air pollution criteria in Korea.

  • We design a new driving system of 5" true color FED using current controlled PWM method. Further more, we successfully developed a 5" FED panel, which resolution is 320$\times$240(Color). When we design a 5" FED driving circuit, FED tips are modeled as R-C for circuit simulator of FED driving circuit. In Video data processing, parallel R, G, B input signals is processed independently, so duty ratio increase and no noise, high quality performance is achieved in display of 5" FED. The luminance is about 100cd/$m^2$, the anode power consumption Is 2.1W and total power of the driving system is 21.54W

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 전력다소비 건물의 전기설비용량, 전력사용실태를 조사하여 통계적 처리를 함으로써 합리적인 수요율과 부등율 기준을 설정하였다. 설정된 수요율과 부등율 기준을 적용하면 설비투자비 감소, 전력손실 감소, 전기요금 절약 및 설비 이용율 개선에 크게 기여할 수 있다. 그러므로 설정된 수요율과 부등율 기준은 이행 관제규정을 개정하기 위하여 활용되어야 할 것이다.

  • This paper shows a reasonable design standard of substation facility density and demand factor in office buildings, that was made by the systematic and statistical way considering actual conditions, such as investigated electric equipment capacity, electric power consumption, etc for 121 buildings. The saving of electric equipment investment, the decrease of power loss, the improvement of facilities utilization and the decrease of electric power rates an be contributed by the application of the design standard must be applied by the revision of current regulations and laws.

  • Dealing with the DC link fault poses a technical problem for an HVDC based on a modular multilevel converter. The fault suppressing mechanisms of several sub-module topologies with DC fault current blocking capacity are examined in this paper. An improved half-bridge sub-module topology with double direction control switch is also designed to address the additional power consumption problem, and a sub-module topology called hybrid double direction blocking sub module (HDDBSM) is proposed. The DC fault suppression characteristics and sub-module capacitor voltage balance problem is also analyzed, and a self-startup method is designed according to the number of capacitors. The simulation model in PSCAD/EMTDC is built to verify the self-startup process and the DC link fault suppression features.

  • In order to study the catching efficiency of shrimp trawl equipped with electrodes around the net mouth and stimulant devices attached to the ground rope, an experimental operation was carried out at Oma-Island Shrimp Farm from October 3rd to November 5th, 1970. Many studies have been made on the shrimp trawl with electric stimulant devices, but few can be found for detailed scientific catching methods. Electric power consumption was so excessive that electric stimulant devices could not be developed for commercial purposes. As a first step toward the successive operations of the electric stimulant devices in the field, it is necessary to study fundamental principles, such as electric current, voltage, electric potential, potential difference, electric field and suitable pulse. The behaviour response of the common shrimp, Penaeus japonicus BATE to moving nets and electric stimulant devices were reported in the preceding papers based on the water tank experiments (Ko and Kim, 1970). Through comparative fishing tests the rate of catching efficiency during daylight time was confirmed to be from 89 to 96 per cent of the night catch efficiency, and with 30 V. 1.5 A. electric power was sufficent for practical sea operation.

재실감지 센서와 스마트 플러그를 이용한 에너지 절약 시스템 (Energy Saving System using Occupancy Sensors and Smart Plugs)

  • 본 논문에서는 첨단 주택에서 가전기기 에너지 절약을 위한 재실 기반 에너지 절약 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안된 시스템은 센싱 시스템과 홈 게이트웨이 시스템으로 구성된다. 센싱 시스템은 사람의 움직임을 감지하는 PIR 센서를 장착한 무선 센싱 노드와 CT센서를 이용하여 전류 사용량을 측정하고 무선으로 전달하는 스마트 플러그로 구성된다. 스마트 플러그를 이용하여 가전기기의 전류 소모량을 측정하고, 방과 문에 설치한 재실 감지 센서를 이용하여 거주자의 재실 유무를 확인하였다. 제안한 시스템은 부재 공간의 불필요한 전기 에너지 사용량을 스위치를 끔으로서 절약한다. 실험 결과 재실 기반으로 전기 에너지를 절약한다면 약 34%를 절약할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 ESD 보호회로의 전류구동 특성을 향상시키기 위해 일반적인 저전압용 ESD 보호회로인 LVTSCR의 구조적 변경을 적용한 ESD 보호회로를 제안한다. LVTSCR 구조에서의 electric field와 ESD 전류 경로가 형성 되는 영역을 분리하여 전력 소모를 최소화 하였으며 이에 대한 전기적 특성을 분석하고 전류 구동 특성을 개선하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통한 System-level 특성 저하에 기인하는 구조적인 문제를 분석하였으며 이를 반영하여 특성을 검증하였다. 제안된 ESD 보호회로의 전기적 특성은 TCAD 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였으며 HBM 모델링 및 System-level 모델링을 통해 분석하였다. 또한, DB-Hitek사의 0.18um BCD 공정을 통해 silicon 제작 및 HBM 10kV 특성 검증하였다.
