The purpose of this study was to find out how Blended e-Learning affected the teaching and learning of engineering mathematics for engineering students. It has researched the application condition of Blended e-Learning and the students' attitude in the offline classes of students. The subject were 42 students of Junior in the Department of Mechanic Engineering in M-University participated in the study. The lecturer taught the class for the students by fact-to-face teaching at the offline. It was recorded all processes during the class, and the video was loaded at the Learning Management System(LMS). The students studied online by themselves. This study investigated the attitude of students at the offline and the Utilization of Online Data by learners through the mixed class for one semester. The results were as follows. First, Blended e-Learning applied engineering mathematics affected positively for the self-regulated and individualized learning to the students. Second, Blended e-Learning has shown a positive impact on the teaching and learning of engineering mathematics. Finally, it also had a positive effect on the class satisfaction level of students.

Although the acquisition of information may be done individually, knowledge is created from the social context of peers, teachers. And feedback on the appropriateness and effectiveness of their knowledge and skill is commonly received. Learning occures effectively within environment that have shared understanding of problems and various tools to solve problems. The purpose of this study is to apply the main principles of creative Problem solving and develop e-PBL(Problem-Based Learning) to enhance creative problem solving skill. In this research, the group of students who studied by means of e-PBL based on web 2.0 showed much more satisfaction and problem solving skill than the other group of students who did by e-Learning.

The purpose of this thesis was to design and develop an effective e-PBL(Problem-Based Learning) for cultivating consciousness of information and communication ethics. The proposed e-PBL is based on PBL which is one of the constructivism teaching-learning theories. Online learning and face-to-face classes were systematically combined for achieving the teaching-learning goals. And the main module for online learning run on Moodle, an open source learning management system. To examine educational effectiveness of the proposed e-PBL, an experimental study was conducted through the education content and method to the subject of two class in the second-grade of university located in OO city. For experiment 60 students(treatment group=30, control group=30) are participated. And they were randomly assigned to one of ten subgroups, comprising of six students, respectively. The results of this study showed that the education using proposed e-PBL is more effective in cultivating consciousness of information and communication ethics and learners responded positively than the education using traditional face-to-face PBL learning method.

This paper proposes a new e-learning model which introduces a participant method based on concepts of open source as well as UCC of web2.0 and achieves learner-centered learning. It is possible for learner to participate actively in creation of micro-contents and reorganize contents using various micro-content with one's learning strategies in consideration of one's own intellectual power, learning objectives and propensity to learn. The learner can achieve the learner-oriented learning through this procedure and select micro-contents in order to reorganize the personalized learning contents to take advantage of social network among learners. The higher effectiveness of learning would be expected by forming connectedness among learners using social network.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of academic achievements, science process skill and scientific attitude. The subjects of this study were 68 fourth-grade elementary school students who were 33 students for the 5E learning cycle instruction and 35 students for traditional instruction. The control group was taught with traditional teaching method, while the experimental group was taught 'the change to the volume of material due to heat' unit of 4th grade with the developed learning cycle model. The results were as fellows: First, the learning cycle instruction is more effective for understanding of a concept related to the change to the volume of material due to heat. Second, the learning cycle model seems more effective for the expansion of both scientific inquiry ability and scientific attitude.

Open source has an amazing spread with the advent of smartphones. Open-source Moodle in e-learning areas are free of LMS (Learning Management System) and the most widely used worldwide, except for the black board commercial programs. One reason is well designed to support collaborative learning and interaction based on constructivist principles, which is the core principle of e-learning in particular that the theoretical basis of educational technology has a high educational effectiveness and benefits. This study examines the operational practices of collaborative learning using open source learning management system Moodle program. It introduces specific information to support the user of the collaborative learning. It looks at the advantages and singularity of collaborative learning in e-learning through examples shown. The purpose of this study is the importance of the relationship between learners and the importance of self-learning of collaborative learning through collaborative learning in a knowledge repository of Moodle. In addition, collaborative learning outcomes are is based on the motivation of learners and playfulness.

Recently, the social commerce on Facebook.com and Twitter.com, which is represented by SNS (Social Network Service), has been expanding in the form of a combination of SNS market. This study attempted to examine the cost-effect analysis between portal-based advertisement and SNS-based advertisement in order to establish an effective advertising strategy for e-learning content providers. The results showed that portal-based advertisement is more effective than SNS-based advertisement in terms of advertising effectiveness against cost. According to these empirical research results, this article discusses the practical implications for e-learning content providers in an attempt to enable them to take competitive advantage.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop and evaluate a new-nurse education program utilizing both e-learning and instructor demonstration. Methods: From August to December in 2009, the e-learning education program about insulin injection was developed. The control (C) group was educated via instructor demonstration from April 15 to October 6 in 2009, and the experimental (E) group was educated via both e-learning and instructor demonstration from January 5 to October 13 in 2010. After each education, knowledge and educational effectiveness were checked. Results: Satisfaction with the education contents in the E group was significantly higher than those of the C group (Z=-3.72, p<.001), and satisfaction with the education method in the E group was higher than those of the C group (Z=-2.98, p=.003). Usefulness (Z=-3.33, p=.001), application (Z=-2.62, p=.009), and confidence (Z=-2.61, p=.009) in the E group were all higher than those of the C group. 78.9% in the E group reused the e-learning program after the experimental education. Conclusion: Combined educational program with e-learning and instructor demonstration had both merits of online efficiency and face-to-face education. It would be useful especially for new-nurses to improve their nursing skills in accomplishing their roles.

In order to improve an efficiency of education and acquisition of PACS administor in Radiological technologist, we implement an e-Learing databank system providing more efficiently provide medical questions set for the integrated education and PACS administor without the limitation of time and space based on XML that is the standard of exchange and transmission of Web documents via Internet. The proposed system is composed of administration module and user module. The former supports some functions: a creation, classification, and management of Radiological question set. Our system can elevate ability of learning and interchange of information among Radiological technologist making preparation of PACS administor for Radiological technologist examination. Finally, our system can maximize an effectiveness of education by evaluating and training users individually with various level according to the user's ability of learning and realization.

Purpose: This study was to develop, implement, and evaluate an e-learning education program for improving practical knowledge and preventing nursing errors and adverse events of nurses working in the operating room (OR). Method: The e-learning program was developed and evaluated according to the following processes: 1) preparation phase 2) implementation phase 3) evaluation phase. In evaluation phase, the effectiveness was analyzed based on the Kirkpatrick's model. Results: The e-learning program consisted of OR basic nursing skills and techniques and nursing activities' manual based on the categories of nursing errors: surgical operation preparation, nursing skills and techniques, environment management, patient safety and comfort, and patient monitoring. The program was provided through on-line, http://cafe.daum.net/pnuhorn, for 4 weeks. The mean score(percent) of participants' satisfaction was $21.24{\pm}1.71$(68.2%). Their total knowledge level was significantly improved(Z=-3.00, p=.003) and specifically in the category of environment management(Z=-3.77, p<.001) and patient monitoring(Z=-2.46, p=.014). The occurrence of nursing errors or adverse events was a little decreased, but not statistically significant(Z=-3.10, p=.756). Conclusion: E-learning for nurses is one way of effective and efficient teaching-learning strategies. For better e-learning, it is important to develop the vital content of the education and objective measures for detecting nursing errors and adverse events.
