In the case of public buildings, fast communication and transparency in the administration and the public, as well as ensuring visibility and lighting performance using a glass curtain wall is symbolically expressed through the transparent glass skin. This study is a simulation in order to derive the basic data for the establishment of the improvement of the heating and cooling load analysis according to the window area ratio changes with respect to the high effectiveness of the government's large public building energy consumption analysis and green building certification system of guidelines was analyzed by a change in the energy load. Glass curtain wall is light and visibility, the symbolic meaning of communication, etc., but is widely used in a variety of characteristics, in terms of energy consumption being disadvantaged sheath plan should have been. Design, including the Atrium, is much less energy than energy consumption by the window area ratio. Thus, while compliance with design guide lines, the atrium and I like the burden of a large space ratio and energy load consists of only glass suggest that require more research on that given in the guidelines.
In year 2011 export volume of South Korea surpassed 500billion USD and overall trade volume has exceeded one trillion USD. South Korea is ranked at 7th in the world by its export volume. Such an expansion of the trade volume leads to growth in customs clearance service demand. However, there are only handfuls of studies on the efficiency of customs clearance service which customs broker provide. If the efficiency in this study is not absolute, it shows relative efficiency to decision making unit. In this research survey was conducted targeting members of Korea Customs Brokers Association. Based on the survey improvement plans to enhance efficiency of customs clearances are as follows. First, rationalize the customs broker fee. Second, setup batch processing system to improve efficiency of the work process. Third, develop new area of task such as FTA and AEO certification. Forth, raise service quality by improving professionalism of customs brokers. Fifth, work efficiency of the office in the capital area will increase. Sixth, when inspecting import export cargo, customs broker should attend at the scene by their choice. Meanwhile, difference analysis on competent customs, type of office, and duration of the business was done but all the aspects were rejected. Such aspects does not influence on its effectiveness.
The purpose of this study is to find out what is the functional role of VTS in order to get the people concerned with marine traffic/transportation understand about VTS. VTS could be described as the essential risk management system in both cost effective on cost-benefit analysis and the sea space or time management at port, coastal environment. The important role of the VTS are those functions such as the decision making infrastructure, the passive/active safety measures at sea. VTS could not control/regulate marine traffic as strong as ATC(Air Traffic Control) owing to the marine traffic characters. However, the right and responsibility of VTS finally are belong to the master, pilot and mariners. For the benefit of the electronic technology development, VTS system also cloud be upgraded to communication system from information system. In connection with these system upgrading, the right and responsibility of VTS/staff should be supported by domestic legal system. The followings are presented for VTS to be effective. First, the cooperation and understanding of VTS between the peoples concerned with marine traffic/transportation are essential. Because they are all data supplier and also information consumers. Second, VTS staff/regulator should be selected, educated, trained accordingly as per their career, ability, quality, qualification, certification and etc. Third, the port reliability from VTS users depends on the factors such as economic interests, safety and effectiveness/efficiency of VTS.
Currently, the government selects products that are likely to cause harm to consumers as safety management targets and classifies them into three types: safety certification, safety confirmation, and supplier conformity verification. In addition, the government conducts safety surveys on products in circulation or accident products, and recalls products that are of great concern to consumer risks. In this paper, we have developed RAP (Risk Assessment method based on Probability), which is a probability based product risk assessment method, for the classification of safety management type of product and safety investigation, and have shown an application example. In this process, information is used for the CISS (Consumer Injury Surveillance System) of the Korean Consumer Agency. In addition, we apply the cluster analysis to classify the current supervised children products into three groups. Then, we confirm the effectiveness of RAP by comparing the result of RAP application, cluster analysis result and current safety management classification type. Also, we recognize the need to review the current safety management classification criteria for classifying products into three types.
It was only 2010 when start-up education spread to undergraduate education in South Korea. Start-up education was conducted so late that there are insufficient studies of evaluation and feedback on the effectiveness of start-up education. Education is a complex concept of teaching people in a desirable direction and developing their inherent abilities. Based on this, start-up education can be defined as cultivating students' entrepreneurial spirit internally and making them exhibit start-up competence externally by teaching them the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for business start-up and developing abilities such as creativity, challenge spirit and problem-solving skills. This study conducted pre and post survey to check if the education camp for the technology start-up, which is a practice-oriented start-up education, has an effect on the change of the participating students' perceptions about the business start-up. This study would analyze various factors of college students' business start-up through a factorial analysis so that the quantitative accumulation of start-up education can lead to a qualitative change and propose measures for the management of the quality of the education.
Natural product drugs, or botanical drugs, are drugs composed of natural substances which have constituents with healthenhancing or medicinal activities. In Korea, government-led projects brought attention to botanical drugs invigorating domestic botanical drug industry. Foreign markets, as well, are growing bigger as the significance of botanical drugs stood out. To follow along with the tendency, Korea puts a lot of effort on developing botanical drugs suitable for global market. However, standards for approving drug sales vary by countries. And also, thorough standardization, certification, clinical studies and data of these will be required as well as data confirming safety and effectiveness. Meanwhile, as an international exchange in botanical drug market continues, the importance of plant resources was emphasized. Thus countries' ownership of domestic natural resources became vital. Not only establishing a systematic method to secure domestic plant resources, but also cooperation with other countries on sharing natural resources is essential to procure natural resources effectively. Korea started to show visible results with botanical drugs, and asthma/COPD treatment made out of speedwell is one example. Sufficient investment and government's active support for basic infrastructure for global botanical drugs will bring Korea to much higher level of botanical drug development.
Wear debris in lubricating oil can be indicative of potential damage to mechanical parts in rotating and reciprocating machinery. Therefore, on-line or in-line monitoring of lubricating components in machinery is of great importance. This work presents a device based on inductive measurement of lubricating oil to detect magnetic wear particles in a tested volume. The circuit in the device consists of Maxwell Bridge and LVDT to measure inductance differences between pure and contaminated oil. The device detects the passage of ferrous particles by monitoring inductance change in a coil. The sensing principle is initially demonstrated at the microscale using a solenoid. The device is then tested using iron particles ranging from $50{\mu}m$ to $100{\mu}m$, which are often found in severely worn mechanical components. The test results show that the device is capable of detecting and distinguishing ferrous particles in lubricating oil. The design concept demonstrated here can be extended to an in-line monitoring device for real-time monitoring of ferrous debris particles. A simulation using the CST code is performed to better understand the inductive response in the presence of magnetic bodies in the oil. The CST simulation further verifies the effectiveness of inductance measurement for monitoring magnetic particles within a tube.

Numerous privacy-preserving authentication schemes have been proposed but vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) still suffer from security and privacy issues as well as computation and communication overheads. In this paper, we proposed a robust conditional privacy-preserving authentication scheme based on pseudonym root with cuckoo filter to meet security and privacy requirements and reduce computation and communication overheads. In our proposed scheme, we used a new idea to generate pseudonyms for vehicles where each on-board unit (OBU) saves one pseudonym, named as "pseudonym root," and generates all pseudonyms from the same pseudonym. Therefore, OBU does not need to enlarge its storage. In addition, the scheme does not use bilinear pairing operation that causes computation overhead and has no certification revocation list that leads to computation and communication overheads. The proposed scheme has lightweight mutual authentication among all parties and just for once. Moreover, it provides strong anonymity to preserve privacy and resists ordinary attacks. We analyzed our proposed scheme and showed that it meets security and privacy requirements of VANETs and is more efficient than traditional schemes. The communication and computation overheads were also discussed to show the cost-effectiveness of the proposed scheme.

With the enactment of the "Framework Act on Carbon Neutrality and Green Growth to Cope with Climate Crisis," various sector-specific plans are being implemented to achieve carbon neutrality. School facilities are mandatory buildings for the "Zero Energy Building Certification" and are the buildings that account for the highest proportion among public institution buildings. Therefore, they play a major role in achieving carbon neutrality in the construction sector. This study analyzed the recent energy use trends and zero energy levels in varied ways to promote the spread of building energy management systems and to provide basic data for efficient operation management and investigated the effectiveness and user opinions of the Building Energy Management System (BEMS) applied to school facilities.
