계층적 분석과정을 적용한 학교급식 식단 구성의 중요도 분석 (Analytic Hierarchy Process approach to estimate weights of menu management in the school foodservice)

  • 본 연구는 AHP를 적용하여 영양교사 및 영양사의 학교급식 식단 작성 시 고려 요인들의 상대적 중요도를 학교급별로 비교함으로써 효율적인 학교급식 식단 구성 방안에 대한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 모집단인 전국 유·초·중·고·특수학교 20,548개교를 대상으로 표본을 추출하여 총 395부 중 166부를 회수하였고, SPSS 통계 프로그램을 이용하여 CR이 0.2 이하인 응답에 대해 분석을 진행하였다. AHP를 이용하여 학교급식 식단 구성의 각 분야별 상대적 중요도를 분석한 결과 조리 인력 및 시설, 기호도, 영양의 균형, 조리 과정, 식재료 순으로 높게 나타났으며, 각 분야의 가장 중요한 하위 영역은 조리종사자의 숙련도, 급식대상자의 기호도, 영양소 섭취 기준, 위생, 식품비 예산이었으며, 이는 각 학교급에서 가장 높은 비율을 차지하였다. 더불어 급식 대상자의 기호도, 영양소 섭취 기준, 식품비 예산은 식단 작성 시 어려운 점의 상위 3가지 항목과도 일치해 식단 작성 시 반영이 어려울수록 상대적 중요도가 높게 나타남을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 향후 학교급식 식단 구성 및 관리 업무 효율 증대에 기여하며 정책 운영 방향 설정을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

미국 문헌정보학 대학원의 기록관리학 교육과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Archives and Records Management Programs in the Schools of Library and Information Science in the U.S.A.)

  • 본 연구는 미국의 문헌정보학 대학원에서 이루어지고 있는 기록관리교육 프로그램을 분석함으로써 한국의 기록관리학 교과과정개발에 필요한 요소를 찾아내고자 하였다. 웹사이트 분석과 문헌연구를 통하여 기록관리교육이 이루어지고 있는 문헌정보학 대학원의 소속 및 명칭 학위 명칭 및 과정, 이수학점, 필수과목과 선택과목, 실습, 연구, 시설, SAA지침서를 비교하였다. 미국에서 기록관리교육이 중점적으로 이루어지고 있는 문헌정보학 대학원은 많지 않았으며 SAA 지침서에서 제시한 기록관리지식을 모두 반영하지 못하는 대학원이 대부분이었다. 이는 기록관리학이 문헌정보학 대학원 안에서 이루어지는 특성화 프로그램의 한계로 볼 수 있었다. 기록관리학의 핵심 교과과정은 역사와 기록물 보존, 기록물과 레코드경영, 정보 기술, 경영원칙, 실무 경험, 연구와 석사학위 논문으로 정리할 수 있었으며 교육 기관과 현장이 함께 많은 연구와 대화를 나눔으로써 이러한 요소를 중심으로 한 기록관리 분야의 교육이 제대로 이루어질 수 있을 것이다.

평남과 전북지역 초등학교 영양사의 인터넷 및 식생활정보 이용실태 (The Status of the Utilization Internet and Dietary Information by Elementary School Dietitians in the Gyeongnam and Jeonbuk Areas)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the status of the utilization of internet and dietary information by elementary school dietitians (total = 201) The results were summarized as follows: All subjects used the internet regularly and the major purpose they mentioned for using it was ″data search″ (72.3%). Those having a frequency of using the internet 6 to 7 times per week were 46.7% of the subjects and the majority indicated the duration of their use of the internet was ″〈 2 hours″ (68.5%). They mainly used the internet at ″school″ (81.8%) , and their favorite search engines were ″Daum″ (41.1%) and ″Yahoo″ (34.7%). They stated that the organization that offered reliable internet information were those ″related to society and organizations″ (36.9%) and ″educational institutions″ (33.8%). Ninety-five percent of the subjects searched for dietary information mainly ″for public affairs″ (80.0%) Their degree of satisfaction when searching for information was high (78.7%). Those dissatisfied with internet sites when searching for dietary information give the following reasons: ″poor information″ (39.1%) and ″slow updates″ (25.4%). They acquired information on nutrition and health management mainly through ″the internet″ (63.6%) The most frequently requested information about public affairs was on ″Materials for nutritional education″ (38.6%) and ″up-to-date nutritional information″ (16.0%) . The desirable update periods for websites was ″1 -3 months″ (51.8%) and ″ < 1 month″ (30.6%), and the favorite site colors were ″blue″ (37.8%) and ″green″ (37.8%). The results of this study showed that, although the internet usage was high, the dietitians were dissatisfied with the information obtained. Therefore, the information donors should find out what kind of dietary information is needed by elementary school dietitians. (Korean J Community Nutrition 8(4) : 595-602, 2003)

  • 최근에 멀티미디어 기술과 결합된 공학교육용 가상 웹사이트가 다양한 형태로 출현함에 따라 공학교육의 인터넷 응용에 많은 관심이 모아졌다. 그러나 단방향성 통신, 단순한 텍스트나 이미지 기반의 웹 문서 그리고 동기부여가 없는 지루한 교육진행과정 등은 가상공간에서의 교육의 효율성을 저하시켜왔다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 학습과정에 있어서 효율성을 극대화하기 위한 가상실험시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 디지털 논리회로 가상실험시스템의 웹의 멀티미디어 능력을 증대시킬 수 있는 상호작용적인 학습 환경을 제공한다. 제안된 가상실험실은 실제 대학에서의 실험실 환경과 유사하게 구현하였기 때문에 학습자들은 가상실험실을 통해 유사한 실험결과를 얻을 수 있다. 제안된 가상실험실은 원리이해 학습실, 모의실험 학습실, 가상실험 학습실 그리고 관리시스템의 4가지로 구성되어 있다. 이러한 혁신적인 교수-학습환경하에서 학습효율은 물론 교수의 생산성을 크게 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 생각된다.

미국의 노인전문약사 제도에 대한 체계적 고찰: 인증, 교육 및 성과 (A Systematic Review on the Certified Geriatric Pharmacist Program of the U.S.: Certification, Education and Outcomes)

  • Background: As elderly population has been increasing, pharmacists need to possess special knowledge and skills to provide enhanced pharmaceutical care for senior patients. Purpose: This study aims to systematically review on (1) the certified geriatric pharmacists (CGP) system, (2) the curriculum related to geriatric pharmacy education, and (3) the CGP's performance in terms of clinical, economic and humanistic outcomes in the U.S. Method: The information related to CGP system and curriculum was obtained through the official websites of 'American Society of Consultant Pharmacists', 'Commission for Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy' and the selected pharmacy school samples. Articles about on the outcomes of pharmacist-provided cognitive services including Medication Therapy Management were searched through PubMed. Results: To gain the CGP credential, pharmacists need 2-year experience as pharmacist in advance and take the CGP examination. This certification must be renewed every 5 year. Most pharmacy schools provide geriatric-related curriculum through didactic or pharmacy practice classes for pharmacy students and certificate or dual degree in gerontology are given on completion. Most previous outcomes research reported that pharmacists have played a role in yielding favorable results regarding clinical, economic and humanistic outcomes for nursing facilities, hospitals and community pharmacy settings. Conclusion: Considering the organized CGP certification system and concrete educational courses established the basis for pharmacists to exert their ability for senior patients of the U.S., it is suggested to build a geriatric pharmacist credential model for pharmacists to provide the increasing elderly patients with the requisite safe and effective pharmacy care in Korea.

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the overall process of the wedding industry - arranging domestic wedding firms and formulating a database related to the business. Simultaneously, with all the data in hand the research attempts to seek flaws within the wedding industry and tries to offer solutions to revitalize the industrial section. Because the list of articles is enormously expansive, for the purpose of basic research, objects have been selected according to the process presented below. Wedding-product firms have been classified within the boundaries of dresses, studios, and makeup firms; distributing channels are mainly focused on wedding planners and related-consulting firms; related departments of universities and wedding organizations are illustrated as well. Due to the unorganized system of this particular field, the research process has been conducted with materials from personal experiences, newspapers, magazines, Internet websites, documents, and interviews with wedding-related firms and organizations, and professors. As a result, over 13 subjects which formulate a market structure of over 30 trillion won. However, due to lack of systemization of the industry, as it expands, numerous problems occur. Excessive competition between wedding-consulting firms and the lack of reliable education for wedding planners, unnecessary external investment and the lack of product research, false Information from the Internet puts the entire industry in a inefficient position. Organizations such as Korea Traditional clothes Industrial Union, Korea Wedding Consulting Association, Korea Martial Industrial Promotion Association(KOMIPA) etc, are made to seek for solutions. For the wedding industry to revitalize, wedding-product firms, wedding planners and consulting firms must maintain an organic relationship every season. They must systemize a proper distribution system, with wedding-product companies enhancing the quality of products, wedding planners organizing wedding plans with responsibility, and consulting firms focusing not only on profits. In order to make high-valued products, wedding-product companies must put their greatest effort in producing talented minds, and universities with related departments must do so as well. In other words, the industrial and educational section of our society must cooperate through a sophisticated system. In addition, related organizations must act to receive governmental support in order to support the industry.

연결망 분석을 활용한 대학 총장 인사말의 의미론적 구조: 대구·경북 지역을 중심으로 (Semantic Structure Represented in College Presidents' Welcome Greetings Using Network Analysis : Daegu & Gyeongbuk Provinces)

  • 본 연구는 대구·경북지역 대학 총장 인사말에 나타난 의미론적 관계와 대학의 방향성을 탐색하였다. 2020년 9월 기준, 각 대학 웹사이트에서 인사말을 수집하였다. 분석 결과, 머리말엔 긍정적인 인상의 '여러분', '환영하다', '방문하다' 등이 자주 사용되었고 본문엔 '대학'과 '교육'이 주요 단어 쌍을 이뤘다. 연결망 중심성 분석에는 '세계'와 '글로벌'이 높은 값을 보였다. 텍스트 내에 존재하는 의미 구조의 하위 차원을 찾기 위해 군집 분석을 실시한 결과, 중심 집단 3개와 보조 집단 3개가 나타났다. 핵심 군집엔 대학의 사회적 책임과 지역발전, 그리고 세계화를 의미하는 단어들이, 보조 군집엔 사업, 꿈, 인사와 관련한 단어들이 출현하였다. 전문대학과 4년제를 비교하면 전문대학은 산업과 기술적 역량에, 4년제는 교육 역량과 학문적 연구 성과에 중점을 뒀다. 본 연구는 학령인구 감소와 변화하는 사회적 환경 속, 대구·경북 대학들이 내세우는 지향점을 파악한다는 점에서 가치를 가진다.

Dental Hygienists in Japan

  • The purpose of this study was to determine the status of dental hygienists in Japan. The study explicated the history, core curriculum, National Examination for Dental Hygienists, work roles of dental hygienists, and workplaces of dental hygienists. This study was based on the government policy report on dental hygienists and the information published by each public institution. The latest statistics presented by the institutions were collected through official websites. The employment information of graduates from Hiroshima University was analyzed based on actual field study. The results of the study revealed that social demand for dental hygienists has steadily increased and policies and education have been revised accordingly. The work roles of dental hygienists have expanded to meet the needs of the treatment and those of public health fields. In line with major policy changes, the educational period has been extended from 1 year to 3 or 4 years, while the mandatory credits for graduation have been established. Licensing examinations were being performed by the local governments since 1948 due to the different situations of dental hygienists in different areas. In 1992, they were converted into a single national examination. The work roles have expanded from assisting dental treatments to health guidance, home care, and perioperative care. Consequently, the number of dental hygienists has increased, especially in healthcare facilities for the elderly. Dental hygienists perform various roles. However, the most essential role is to provide the best oral care services to the patient. The expected role of dental hygienists has expanded in alignment with public healthcare needs and support for the elderly. The government and universities are expected to bring about improvements such as diversifying the channels of education and establishing policies to respond to growing patient needs by cultivating excellent dental hygiene professionals.

국내 노인치위생학 교육과정 현황분석 (Analysis of current status of curriculum for geriatric dental hygiene in Korea)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the current status and educational contents of the geriatric-related curriculum in dental hygiene departments at colleges across the country. Methods: To analyze the current status of geriatric curriculum, it was investigated by searching the websites of colleges across the country where dental hygiene (curriculum) department was available. Furthermore, a literature review of domestic and foreign textbooks related to geriatric dental hygiene was conducted to analyze the contents of geriatric dental hygiene curriculum. Results: Among colleges that offer dental hygiene (curriculum) department, 8 four-year and 12 three-year colleges (24.4%) offered geriatric dental hygiene courses. A comparison of the contents of the textbooks titled "Geriatric dental hygiene" published by Goonja, Daehan Narae, and Komoonsa showed that basic contents such as the characteristics, health problems, and oral health problems of elderly -people were described in the same context. However, there was a difference in the volume and importance of the concerned contents also. Conclusions: Universities and related organizations which offer dental hygiene curriculum should continue to conduct studies for the development of geriatric hygiene curricula. Moreover, heightened efforts are needed to ensure that geriatric dental hygiene education is more systematically offered.

The Past and Current Status of Dentists in Japan

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the general history of fostering dentists in Japan and introducing their new roles. This research was conducted based on the government policy report on dentists and the information published by each educational institution. Based on the collected data, the official websites were used to represent the latest statistics of the institutions. The number of dentists in Japan has increased. The government established the National Examination for Dentists to guarantee the quality of dentists. After the standards for developing questions for the national examination were established in 1985, the contents of the examination have been appropriately improved by revising the standards every four years. This improvement has required dental students to study a variety of subjects for six years at dental school. Since dentists in Japan are required to respond to various demands from the nation; the Model Core Curriculum for Dental Education was developed to teach medical ethics and abilities to ensure that dentists conduct themselves professionally. Recently, the roles of dentists have been changing in Japan. When providing dental services to older patients over the age of 65, dentists and other dental professions focus on maintaining oral functions, such as saliva secretion, bite force, tongue movement, and masticatory/swallowing functions. However, oral function-related services for children are different. In addition to providing essential dental services, dental practitioners also provide special treatment, such as oral muscle training, myofunctional therapy, health guidance, and space retainers to the child patients with developmental insufficiency in oral functions. Dentistry in Japan has undergone numerous changes over the years and has continued to offer high-quality dental health services. Thus, information gained from the Japanese experience may be helpful to dental professions in other developed countries for planning oral health measures.
