This study was attempted to develop education programs through mobile apps to promote breastfeeding for high-risk mothers. The development of mobile apps was carried out in four stages, including analysis, design, implementation and evaluation, by referring to the software development life cycle. The subjects of this study were cesarean delivery mother, premature baby and twin delivery mother, and contents of education included difficulty in breastfeeding by high risk mother. Experts and users evaluated the program and found it appropriate as an educational mobile app. The education through mobile app is not limited by time and space. Therefore, it will help knowledge and continuous practice of breastfeeding by high risk mothers. It is necessary to directly test the effects of applying the breastfeeding app developed in this study.

Geometric form of a suspension bridge that uses load-sensitive cables takes on not only resisting loads but also becoming a visually sensible shillouette. This study has proposed a preliminary structural form planning for a suspension bridge following force flow by adopting the two possibilities of the graphic statics. First, the force polygon allows alternative load paths for the same loading condition. Second, a new structural form for the newly developed load path can be constructed using the reciprocal principle that exits between a structure space and the corresponding force polygon. Major structural form parameters that affect both structural and aesthetic aspecs are first identified. The relationships between structural forms and the corresponding force polygons are then investigated for the identified parameters. Upon the investigation, a stepwise process is developed for a preliminary structural form planning for a suspension bridge. The proposed structural form planning method is general that can be easily expanded to generate design alternatives of similar form-active structural systems. It is also expected that this method will be used as an educational tool to explain the interrelationships between structural forms and their force flows.
The aim of this research is to develop the sentiment indicators of housing welfare for evaluating housing welfare policies conducted by the Korean government. The methods of this research are used by analysis of related documents, FGI (Focus Group Interview), and survey. The survey was made by experts and consumers. To analyze the survey, this research also uses confirmatory factor analysis by SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Science) program, AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) by Expert Choice program, frequency, average, percentages, Factor analysis etc. As a result of this research, selected housing welfare indicators are settled as follows: In the housing welfare aspect, 11 indicators in the department of 'Housing Satisfaction' and 11 indicators in the department of 'Community Satisfaction' (22 in total) are suggested. The indicators are 1) Water Supply and Distribution Equipment 2) Heating equipment 3) the size of the exclusive residential area 4) the number of rooms 5) Ventilation and Lighting 6) Sound Insulation (Indoor Noise) 7) Air Pollution/Odor 8) House Deposit 9) Rent Paid 10) Maintenance (Dwelling) Cost 11) The length of Occupation 12) Proximity to Welfare Facilities 13) Educational Environment 14) Convenience of Facilities (shops, hospitals etc.) 15) Convenience of Transportation and Commuting 16) Distance from Workplace 17) Landscape and Green Space (Tree, Flowers, Grass etc.) 18) Vandalism (Destruction Behavior, graffiti etc.) 19) Privacy 20) Noise in Public Places (Drinking, Loudly Talking etc.) 21) Safety from Crime 22) Safety from a Disaster. As of 2007, the housing welfare sentiment index is measured by the survey of 1,000 inhabitants in the public housing, which shows 3.51.
Background: School is a primary health education setting for children and the continuous support should be provided to renew school health education curriculum correspondent to socio-cultural changes in Korean society. Objectives: This study was conducted to identify the principals' and teachers' needs of health education topics for their students and to analyze their conceptual map for health education curriculum in Korean elementary school. Methods: The sample size of the first survey was 179 and that of the second survey was 691 of elementary school principals and teachers from stratified sampling over Korea. The self-administered mailing survey was conducted to o identify the factor structure of the health education topics and to analyze the conceptual properties with exploratory factor analysis and multidimensional scaling analysis in SPSS 12.0. Results: A total of 21 health education topics were collected from the first survey and 31 topics were, comprehensively, generated for the second survey. The five factors were determined: 'life health promotion behavior,' 'drug control and mental health,' 'bulling and aggression prevention,' 'safety perception and injury prevention,' and 'sex education and sexual harassment.' The educational need scores were the highest in 'safety perception and injury prevention.' The two-dimensional cooperates were generated for the 31 health education topics and the two dimensional properties which divided the conceptual space were 'health-safety' for one and 'public/environmental-individual/personal' for the other. Conclusions: Health education curriculum and textbook should be developed considering teachers' needs and conditions for health education in school fields. The field-based health education programs or textbook would make more possible problem-solving health education for children in real school fields.
In this paper, we investigated teachers' awareness for the gifted education using technology. We chose teachers who were taking a course(60 hours) in the gifted education at Educational Training Institute in Chonnam National University, and analyzed their awareness for gifted education using technology. We found teachers' awareness as followings. First, teachers think that their ability using technology is contained ability developing and performing program for the gifted education. Second, using technology in the gifted education have an effect on ability of inventively solving problem and extension of thinking power of the gifted. Third, the gifted education using technology is helpful to developing abilities of the gifted, which are intuitional discernment, organizing information, space perception and visualization. Also, that is helpful to developing fluency, flexibility and uniqueness of the gifted in terms of sub-factors of creativity (fluency, flexibility, uniqueness, sophistication).

Due to the development of information communication technology, educational environment has undergone much change and various types of teaching and learning methods based on information communication technology has been suggested. Recently, remote education using the internet are also spreading. However, in current classrooms, students are asked to do an teacher-centered assignment, which they are required to collect and report some information using the internet. This method does not help students use the advantages of learning using the internet, which stimulate students-students interaction and teacher-students interaction.Thus, this study focused on the problem-based learning system based on video communication technology. The researcher designed the problem-based learning system based on video communication technology and applied the system to classes at elementary school. The results were analyzed in terms of students-students interaction and teacher-students interaction in the internet. This research found that the problem-based learning system stimulates teacher and students communication and has positive effects on students' attitude and interest in learning. This research proposes that the traditional teacher-centered teaching method can be supplemented with cyber space learning, which has the merit of problem-based learning model.
Since aging has become one of most hot and serious issues in the whole global world, universal design as a strategic concept to enable the elderly age in place has received much attention and its importance is getting recognized. Japan has undergone the Aging phenomenon much earlier than Korea and other countries. During that time, through much trials and errors, it accumulated the wisdoms and techniques to precede aging friendly environment and products. Therefore current Japan house is a comprehensive setting which embraces lots of universal design features that has a valuable implication for Korean development that faces fast aging future. The purpose of this study was to delineate characteristics of universal design features appeared in Japanese Model houses. One site of housing park in the city where various model houses of representative housing construction companies was selected as a cluster area for data collecting. Data were collected mainly through field survey at the housing park of Tokyo during November, 2006, and additional data were collected through website and company information of relevant company. Universal design features were extracted for 17 houses of the housing park and sorted and analyzed according to the analysis frame. The frame were made using 2 major clusters; space area, and 8 universal design principle. Results showed a range of universal design feature and its detail universal design principle satisfied. The 8 principle currently developed became to house realistic practical examples and theory became proved its impractical power. The academic, educational and industrial implication were documented.

Creative spatial production in Environmental design relies, in large part, on the artistic talent of the designer(s) that is applied to the design solutions or schematic plans. This study proposes the importance and necessity of the use of 'Plastic Arts" or the technique of artistic manipulation and definition of space in Environmental Design studio programs. This fundamental design approach is currently lacking in Korean design studio programs. Moreover, the current trend of interdisciplinary design (that is, between landscape architecture, architecture, urban and environmental planning) emphasizes the importance of such techniques. "plastic Arts" techniques can serve as a basic code of communication between design disciplines and can in itself be a common approach. The method of this study is based on the empirical datas, that is, the educational performances which are executed in Landscape studio programs of some Korean Universities. The results are summarized as follows; 1. The program, "Plastic Arts" Should be included in the basic organization of Landscape design studio programs. 2. Unlike France where "Plastic Arts" program is implemented through out Landscape Architecture programs in Korea, "Plastic Arts" should be intensified and continued for longer period of time for students in the initial years. 3. In creation of "Plastic Arts" programs for Korean Landscape Design studios, the traditional and contemporary values of aesthetic of the Nature should be taken in consideration. 4. In order to confirm the necessity of "Plastic arts" program in the organization of landscape curriculum, more studies should be done, with empirical datas.pe curriculum, more studies should be done, with empirical datas.
The 'Environmental Psychology and Behavior Studies' which started from the purpose of "Building the comfortable environment for people", is one of the most essential research area in architecture and intoner design field because of the basis of humanbeing matters. As the development of science and industries, the social circumstances have been more complicated and diversified. As a result, humanbeing require much humanized and high level of quality in space design as well as environmental design. In case of domestic research situation, the research of environmental psychology and behavior studies in architecture and interior design fields, haven't been applied fully in their potential abilities due to the shortage of research history, complexity of humanbeing researches and the vagueness of studies as a major fields. Thus, my purpose of studying is to analizing the previous research tendencies focus on the domestic thesis since 1980 to 2006 from the related research Institutes. Final findings are as follows ; 1. Steadily increasing tile interest ratio of the research field of environmental psychology and behavior studies 2. Concentration of research target spaces are higher from the residential > elderly facilities > educational > and medical spaces. 3. The preference of research theme showed the environmental psychology fundamentals > behavior studies > general studies of environmental psychology > emotional engineering > human factors engineering. 4. Results of crossing analysis ; 1)Residential spaces were the main spaces for main research theme. 2)Main theme used in target spaces were 'environmental psychology fundamentals' and "behavior studies'. 3)Main research methods for the most target spaces were 'sample research' methods.
The present study suggests a concept of resources circulation type agriculture and a concept of a livestock zone related to it and evaluated economical efficiency about a possibility of the resources circulation type livestock zone based on the concept.
