  • The Vietnamese language has a specific property related to the zero in the name-number system. This study was conducted to examine the impact of linguistic differences and of the zero's position in a number on a transcoding task (verbal number into Arabic number). Vietnamese children and French-speaking Belgian children, from grades 3 to 6, participated in the study. The success rate and the type of errors they made varied, depending on their grade and language. At Grade 4, Vietnamese children showed performances equivalent to Grade 6 Belgian children. Our results confirmed the support provided by language to the understanding and performances in a transcoding task. Results also showed that a syntactic zero is easier to manipulate than a lexical zero for Vietnamese children. The relative influence of language and the source of errors are discussed.

  • The article proposes that empathy differs in severity and types among students of different specialties. And to test this hypothesis, an experimental study of students from 4 different faculties was carried out. As a result of the study, it was found that empathy is more pronounced among students of "humanitarian" specialties, and students of "exact" specialties have the least pronounced empathic abilities.

In the third section, socialization practices and parent-child relationship are reviewed. In the fourth section, Western theories that have been developed to explain educational achievement and their limitations are examined. In the fifth section, factors that contribute to educational success of Korean students are presented. In the final section, the impact of centralized, standardized, and rigid educational system that is imposed on adolescents is discussed. The highly regulated and centralized bureaucracy restricts educational and career opportunities for adolescents and it is responsible for the high rate of violence, delinquency, and bullying in Korea. The need for encouraging civil society that allows for diversity of ideas and skills and at the same time maintaining strong relational bonds are discussed.

  • The 'Environmental Psychology and Behavior Studies' which started from the purpose of "Building the comfortable environment for people", is one of the most essential research area in architecture and intoner design field because of the basis of humanbeing matters. As the development of science and industries, the social circumstances have been more complicated and diversified. As a result, humanbeing require much humanized and high level of quality in space design as well as environmental design. In case of domestic research situation, the research of environmental psychology and behavior studies in architecture and interior design fields, haven't been applied fully in their potential abilities due to the shortage of research history, complexity of humanbeing researches and the vagueness of studies as a major fields. Thus, my purpose of studying is to analizing the previous research tendencies focus on the domestic thesis since 1980 to 2006 from the related research Institutes. Final findings are as follows ; 1. Steadily increasing tile interest ratio of the research field of environmental psychology and behavior studies 2. Concentration of research target spaces are higher from the residential > elderly facilities > educational > and medical spaces. 3. The preference of research theme showed the environmental psychology fundamentals > behavior studies > general studies of environmental psychology > emotional engineering > human factors engineering. 4. Results of crossing analysis ; 1)Residential spaces were the main spaces for main research theme. 2)Main theme used in target spaces were 'environmental psychology fundamentals' and "behavior studies'. 3)Main research methods for the most target spaces were 'sample research' methods.

  • The purpose of this study was to applicate systematic RTI educational service by providing reading fluency program to identify high-risk students with dyslexia of a shadow zone based on their growth rate. Twenty-two students of 1st to 5th graders were selected as study subjects through "2016 Kyungi-Do Project of the Dyslexia Excellence Program". An individualized reading fluency program was provided through 8-10 sessions over a period of 3 months. The program was developed based on evidence-based reading strategies with the consideration of each student's educational needs. As results, three groups were identified with their learning growth rates: concerned, improving, and discrepancy groups. The study identified three students in a discrepancy group as students with dyslexia. Based on these results, implications and suggestions for further educational identification process along with effect programs were discussed.

  • Linking Ukraine's education system with the trends of global digitalization is mandatory to ensure the sustainable, long-term development of the country, as well as to increase the sustainability of the education system and the economy as a whole during the crisis period. Now the main problems of the education system in Ukraine are manifested in a complex context caused by Russian armed aggression. In the context of war, problems include differences in adaptation to online learning among educational institutions, limited access to education for vulnerable groups in the zone of active hostilities, the lack of digital educational resources suitable for online learning, and the lack of basic digital skills and competencies among students and teachers necessary to properly conduct online classes. Some of the problems of online learning were solved in the pandemic, but in the context of war Ukrainian society needs a new vision of education and continuous efforts of all social structures in the public and private environment. In the context of war, concerted action is needed to keep education on track and restore it in active zones, adapting to the needs of a dynamic society and an increasingly digitized economy. Among the urgent needs of the education system are a change in the teaching-learning paradigm, which is based on content presentation, memorization, and reproduction, and the adoption of a new, hybrid educational model that will encourage the development of necessary skills and abilities for students and learners in a digitized society and enable citizens close to war zones to learn.

  • Analyzing the psychological and pedagogical literature, we showed the interest of researchers in the problem posed. The concept of competence is considered, which is interpreted as giving the key to solving a wide range of educational and life tasks. Research competence implies the ability to cooperate, enter into contacts, readiness for changes, for self-determination and is an integral quality of the individual, expressed in the readiness and ability to independently search for solutions to new problems and creative transformation of reality based on a set of personal and meaningful knowledge, skills, methods of activity and value attitudes. The article offers conditions that certify the improvement of forms and methods of training students in the formation of research competence of future specialists. The use of innovative technologies contributes to improving the level of training of future specialists: students are better prepared for classes, take an active part in the assimilation of program material in laboratory classes. It is noted that this creates a subject-subject relationship between the student and the teacher, and changes the attitude of students to classes. In the process of such organization of educational activities, students are convinced of the need for knowledge and its effectiveness, learn to compare, generalize, classify, establish cause-and-effect relationships, express opinions, defend their point of view, they ensure success in their studies, and develop research competence. It is proved that in order to apply the latest technologies, the teacher himself must know them well, that is, constantly improve himself, master new methods, techniques, ideas, which will help him create new pedagogical technologies and implement them in the educational process.
