Objective: This study aimed to provide policy implications by studying the class size of early childhood education institutes. Methods: By looking through researches, the educational influence of class size was examined. By using the latest statistical data, class size standard and status were compared. After class size perception in the field was considered and the main results of advanced researches were summarized and analyzed, the actual condition of class size was diagnosed. Furthermore, the national research trend was analyzed. Results: First, class size was an influencing factor on young children and teachers and its importance was reconfirmed. Second, as for standard in relation to class size in Korea, the maximum class size and teacher-child ratio were not presented together. In respect of overseas standards, infancy has similar standards, but early childhood has a little higher ratio. In the educational fields, there was growing awareness that class size should be modified. Third, there were not enough domestic researches on class size and they tended to be biased in terms of the method, targets, and contents. Conclusion/Implications: It is suggested that it is necessary to establish a class size policy for future early childhood education institutes, to implement a system, and to perform follow-up studies.

The author investigated the momentum of the maker movement and its educational implications with the following four research questions: 1. What is the maker movement? 2. What is the nature of our societal interest in the maker movement? 3. Which learning theories are associated with the maker movement? 4. What are the educational implications of the maker movement? The author reviewed the history of education in terms of the maker movement and concluded that Papert's learning-by-making approach provided a theoretical foundation of the maker movement. The maker movement aims to engage participants in Do-It-Yourself(DIY) activities, the spirit of tinkering, and a hands-on approach. Also, the maker movement meets the educational demands of fostering students' 21st-century abilities and technological literacy. Lastly, the author anticipated the issues that may arise following the introduction of the maker movement in K-12 schools. In conclusion, the author discussed the challenges of the school maker education movement and suggested the bottom-up approach to utilize the school resources of technology and engineering education.

The educational environment of the era of age of uncertainty and human and disaster, where nothing is predictable, so it is bringing about many changes. The purpose of this study is to suggest the implications of Integrative arts therapy in the educational field of unpredictable times as a way to move the minds of people living in various educational changes. As for the research method, the characteristics of the integrative arts therapy shown in the previous studies were examined through the literature method, and then through the cases in the modern education environment practiced we propose three things. First, in the field of university education, students should have an integrative arts therapy approach in terms of teaching methods, and also, second, in order to recover from failure and frustration, continuous gratitude sharing training to discover and acknowledge positivity in the situation by changing perspectives should improve students' self-esteem and self-efficacy. Third, professors should play the role of facilitators and also coaches in knowledge transfer. Therefore the coaching process should be integrated into the process of sustainable education when the integrative arts therapy is approached from the pedagogical curriculum.

Objective: This study was conducted to identify trends in teacher education research for early childhood teachers in Korea from 2013 to 2023, aiming to provide practical data for early childhood teacher education research. Methods: For this purpose, 62 articles published in Korean journals were analyzed according to the specified criteria. Through the analysis, we closely examined research trends, educational practices, and trends in educational program development. Results: First, both quantitative and qualitative research have been conducted steadily since 2015. The majority of participants were childcare center teachers, and numerous studies focused on program development. Second, among the trends in teacher education practices, many studies aimed to improve teaching skills. Third, concerning the trend of teacher education program development research, various research methods were utilized, with quantitative research being conducted in 2015, 2020, and 2022. Particular, regarding independent and dependent variables, numerous studies focused on enhancing teaching effectiveness and educational knowledge. Conclusion/Implications: Based on the results, we offer implications for the education policy field and related organizations, along with recommendations for enhancing the guidance and support of early childhood teacher education in program development and implementation.

The fundamental theorem of calculus is the most 'fundamental' content in teaching calculus. Since the aim of teaching the theorem goes beyond simple application of it, it is difficult to teach it meaningfully. Hence, for the meaningful teaching of the fundamental theorem of calculus, this article seeks to find the educational implication of the fundamental theorem of calculus through reviewing the genetic history of it. A genetic history of the fundamental theorem of calculus can be divided into the following five phases: 1. The deductive discovery of the fundamental theorem of calculus 2. Galileo's Law of falling body and the idea of the fundamental theorem of calculus 3. The discovery of the fundamental theorem of calculus and Barrow's proof 4. Newton's mensuration 5. the development of calculus in 19th century and the fundamental theorem of calculus The developmental phases of the fundamental theorem of calculus discussed above provides the three educational implications. first, we can rediscover this theorem through deductive methods and get the ideas of it in relation to kinetic problems. Second, the developmental phases of the fundamental theorem of calculus shows that the value of this theorem lies in the harmony of its theoretical beauty and practicality. Third, Newton's dynamic image of this theorem can be a typical way of understanding the theorem. We have different aims of teaching the fundamental theorem of calculus, according to which the teaching methods can be adopted. But it is self-evident that the simple application of the theorem is just a part of teaching the fundamental theorem of calculus. Hence we must try to put the educational implications reviewed above into practice.

이 연구의 목적은 롤즈의 정의론을 중심으로 노년교육의 정당성을 탐색하고, 교육자원 혹은 교육기회의 정의로운 배분을 위한 당위성을 이끌어 내는데 있다. 또 이를 바탕으로 노년교육의 활성화를 위한 함의를 얻고자 한다. 연구자는 롤즈의 정의론을 토대로 사회정의를 실천하기 위한 원칙으로 '원초적 입장'을 지적하였다. 이 입장은 '무지의 베일'과 '합리적 무관심'으로 구성되어 있다. 또 사회정의의 실천방법으로 '우연성의 배제', '차등원칙 실현', '민주주의적 평등', '공동자산' 등이 제시되었다. 이를 근거로 향후 보다 정의로운 노년교육을 위한 함의를 다음과 같이 살펴볼 수 있었다. 첫째, 최소수혜계층인 노인, 여성, 장애인 등이 교육 가치의 배분에 있어 차별을 받아서는 안 된다. 둘째, 우수한 능력을 갖춘 사람들 혹은 세대는 자신들이 사회의 공동자산이라는 인식하에 그렇지 못한 사람들을 위해 봉사하여야 한다. 셋째, 노인들 스스로 분산된 힘을 응집시키고 잠재력을 발전시키려 노력하여야 한다. 결론적으로, 롤즈의 정의론은 노년교육을 위한 정당성 도출 및 노년교육의 활성화를 위한 이념적 틀로서 매우 유용하다.

The purpose of this study is to examine how the mother's educational aspirations and household's characteristics have an effect on the likelihood of private educational expenditures and the amount of private educational expenditures. Factor analysis, probit and tobit analyses were used. The main findings can be summarized as the following: The mother's educational aspirations for intrinsic values is higher than for extrinsic values. The mother's educational aspirations for extrinsic values, household's assets, and residing in Seoul rather than residing in Incheon had significant positive effects on the likelihood of private educational expenditures. However, the child's birth order had a significant negative effect on the likelihood of private educational expenditures. The mother's educational aspirations for extrinsic values, the mother's education level, household's income, household's assets, and residing in Seoul rather than residing in Incheon had significant positive effects on the amount of private educational expenditures. However, the child's birth order had a significant negative effect on the amount of private educational expenditures. Findings from this study offer several implications. First, the mother's educational aspirations for extrinsic values rather than for intrinsic values has an effect on private educational expenditures. Unless the mother's educational aspirations have been changed to pursuing intrinsic values, the private educational expenditures cannot be reduced. Second, the polarization of the household's income and assets could bring about the polarization of private educational expenditures, which can lead to the intergenerational income polarization.

The purpose of this study were to develop a financial management educational program for college students and to evaluate the effect of this program. In order to achieve this aims, a fundamental work to select the educational contents was preceded with a survey of learners' needs, preceding studies. After choice of educational contents, learners' demands on how to manage the educational program was executed in advance. The participants in this study were 500 students, resulting in 460 with usable data. Second, reflection the above mentioned educational contents, a concrete financial management educational program was built. This program consists of 9 domains: financial planning, careers and income, consumer spending, credit use and Credit cards, Managing Taxes, investment planning, risk management and insurance, retirement and estate planning, contribution. The participants for this program implementation were 68 students. Third, to evaluate the effects of the financial management educational program, paired t-test was conducted in using the SPSS package. The result suggested that financial management educational program has a positive effect on financial knowledge, financial attitude and financial management behavior. Several implications based on the findings were suggested.

방송통신융합 환경의 도래로 IPTV가 상용화되고 있다. IPTV는 초고속 인터넷을 통해 정보 서비스, 동영상 콘텐츠 및 방송 등을 TV로 제공하는 서비스를 지칭한다. 본 연구에서는 현존하는 교육의 한계를 극복하기 위해 IPTV를 교육적으로 활용하는 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 IPTV의 개념 및 특성을 알아보고 IPTV에서 제공되는 콘텐츠를 분석하여 교육적 시사점을 도출하였다. 또한 IPTV의 교육적 활용 시나리오를 제시하고 그것의 교육적 활용 가능성에 대한 고찰과 IPTV를 활용한 교수-학습 유형 및 각 교과별 활용 방안을 제안하였다. 마지막으로, IPTV의 교육 현장 도입을 위해 고려되어야할 사항을 법적 기술적 문제와 교육적 문제로 나누어 살펴보았다.

The purpose of this study were to analyze agricultural practice of schools in foreign countries, especially Germany, France, Netherland, Japan, to attain its implications and to get implications for improving KNCF's workplace practice program. This study was conducted through an extensive review of literature related to agricultural practice system of educational institutes of foreign countries. Some implications were summarized as followings: (1) the preparing program should be built in long-term workplace practice, (2) the manual for students and workplace professors should be made and supplied, (3) the web-site sharing the information of practice farms should be established, (4) KNCF should effort to manage the workplace practice, (5) the several standard model should be applied by kinds of crops and livestocks.
