This study aimed to investigate the relationships between depressed mood and life style patterns, including smoking, alcohol drinking, and physical inactivity in Koreans aged 40 years, which is a critical life transition period. Based on the Life Transition Period Health Examination at the Korea Association of Health Promotion conducted in 2011 (n=27,684), participants were categorized into a depressed mood group and a non-depressed mood group based on the results of the Primary Mental Health Questionnaire. The depressed mood group showed higher tendency for smoking compared to the non-depressed mood group. Current and ex-smokers were about twice as likely to have a depressed mood as the non-smokers. The prevalence of nicotine dependency was significantly higher in the depressed mood group. The number of days and amount of alcohol consumption were significantly correlated with depressed mood. The prevalence of alcohol dependence and alcohol abuse was higher in the depressed mood group than in the non-depressed mood group. The frequency of high-intensity exercise per week was negatively correlated with the number of people with a depressed mood. This study showed the significant relationships between depressed mood and smoking, alcohol drinking, and physical activity in adults during an important life transition period. This implies that the development of proper lifestyle intervention or education may be needed to prevent depressed moods in this age group.
The problems current robotic technology education class has are the students with different basic background knowledge levels and the class based on the instructional teaching method. This study shows the implementation of the student teams achievement divisions (STAD) learning model into an introductory robotic technology education class to resolve the problems in the current robotic technology class. The STAD learning model focuses on the ability of each team member with different knowledge levels and make team members help each other through class activities such as assignments and a project. All members get rewarded by their performance output as a team in a course grade. The outputs of STAD learning models were measured by paired sample t-test as pre-test and post-test in terms of students's transition on basic knowledge for robotic technology, students' attitudinal transition on teaching robotic technology class, and students' competencies and self-efficacy on related subject areas. The study participants were 22 pre-service technology teachers at a university. The results show that all four measured areas were improved significantly, compared to pre-test with respect to the means scores of each measurement area. The STAD learning model could be an alternate for the current robotic technology class to deliver the better class outcomes for students under the specific circumstances.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of middle-aged retirement planning on individual's quality of life and overall satisfaction, and moderating effects of social and psychological sense of crisis, and the differences of measured variables in the demographic characteristics. Retirement planning that may be the most important factor in the country's social costs is aimed to provide a basis for fixing the interest in advance of retirement planning training and retirement. The subjects are workers who live in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gyonggi-do. Total sample size is 350, then 335 samples were collected on the data. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, house ownership and education level among demographic variables affects satisfaction of their life. People who do not own a house shows higher satisfaction, and higher education level affects satisfaction positively. Second, satisfaction is affected by transition to rest negatively, on the other hand, it is affected by expect of new beginning positively. Besides, No moderating effect of social and psychological crisis showed that negative life evaluation role to the independent variables. Third, cognitive information is affected by transition to rest and imposed disruption positively. Besides, job dissatisfaction adjusts between them. Fourth, improvement of life quality is not affected by expect of the retirement planning. On the other hand, there is not moderating effects of social and psychological sense of crisis.

This study investigated the longitudinal transition of adolescents' psychological character profiles, which includes self-esteem, acculturative stress, depression, and social withdrawal, and the predictive effects of parental efficacy, families' support, and friends' support in multicultural families. The sample consisted of 1,188 adolescents in elementary school, who were re-examined in three years, when they were in middle school from the part of waves 2 and 6 of the Multicultural Adolescents Panel Study. A latent profile analysis identified three distinct profiles of psychological character among adolescents in elementary school and middle school: stable, social withdrawal, and unstable. As compared to elementary school, adolescents' psychological characteristics stayed stable and played critical roles on the latent classes. Parental efficacy, and supports from family and friends played critical roles on the latent classes. Specifically, as adolescents perceived full of supports from friends, they were more likely to make transitions to the stable group. Implications for intervention in multicultural families are discussed.
We have discussed on the structural transition and its effect on the electrical property of Li-GFDICs and Li-PCDICs occuring during the deintercalation process of Li-Graphite Fiber Intercalation Compounds(Li-GFICs) and Li-Petroleum Cokes Intercalation Compounds(Li-PCDICs) synthesized under pressure and temperature by spontaneous oxidation by air circulation. The analytical results were obtained by X-ray diffraction and electrical specific resistivity measurements. According to X-ray analysis, we have found that the major stage of Li-GFICs was stage 2 and those of Li-PCICs were stage 1 and stage 2, respectively. And from this results of the deintercalation process, we have found that the deintercalation process did not occur any more after 5th week of Li-GFDICs and after 3rd week of Li-PCDICs. According to the results of the electrical specific resistivity measurements, Li-GFDICs showed little variation to 3rd week and rising in the steady curve after 4th week, while Li-PCDICs showed a rising in the steady curve to 3rd week and a declining curve after 3rd week. Therefore from these results, we can consider that graphite fiber and petroleum cokes as a substrate can be also used as an anode material of battery because they have good intercalation-deintercalation reactivity with lithium.
The rates of reaction between 4-substituted-2,6-dinitrochlorobenzenes with para-substituted anilines in methanol-acetonitrile mixtures were measured by conductometry. It was observed that the rate constant increases in the order of X = 4-$NO_2 {\gg}4-CN {\gg}4- CF_3$, where X is a substituent in the substrate. The rate constant also increases in the order of Y = p-O$CH_3{\gg}p- CH_3{\gg}H {\gg}p-Cl{\gg}m- NO_2$, where Y is a substituent in the aniline ring. Kinetic studies in the methanol-acetonitrile solvent system with various nucleophiles showed that the N-C bond forming step is making a great contribution to the overall second order rate constant. The electrophilic catalysis by methanol probably consists of the hydrogen bonding between alcoholic hydrogen and leaving chloride in the transition state. The nucleophilic catalysis by methanol may be ascribed to the formation of hydrogen bonds between alcoholic oxygen and hydrogens of amines in the transition state. All these experimental facts are supporting the operation of $S_N$Ar machanism with the second step being the rate determining. This mechanism can be successfully fitted to the PES model.
The purpose of this study is to analyze which group led the process of agenda setting of teacher's certification system in China from 1978 to 2018 using the Cobb & Elder's theoretical model. The period of about 40 years from 1978 to 2018 is divided into the introduction period of teacher's certification period (1978~1992), transition period (1993~1998), and stabilization stage (1999~2018). The agenda setting process was analyzed. As a result, the group that led the process of agenda setting of the Chinese teacher's certification system varied according to the period. The introduction period of teacher's certification system was analyzed as 'Inside Access Model' led by policy makers and government, and the transition period was confirmed as 'Mobilization Model' led by Chinese government and Ministry of Education. The stabilization period was analyzed as 'Outside Initiative Model' led by various groups such as mass media, researchers, and government. It was found that the process of agenda setting of teacher's certification system had been changing toward democratization according to the degree of development of Chinese society, and the quality control of teacher certifications had been strengthened.

Tasan Jeong Yak-yong is great scholar, who makes a synthesis of Sil-hak[實學, Practical Science of Korea], reformer of society, and a poet in the Joseon Dynasty. He expressed contradiction and conflict of those days by intellectual language, and reperceived basic ideology of the Joseon society. Also he theorized dissatisfaction of the people about those days and its system as form of religion. We can divide Tasan's life into two times. The first part is his ages 16~39 in the period of Jeong-jo(1777~1800). The second part is in the period of Sun-jo(1801~1834). In this period, he was exiled into Gang-jin for 17 years. After banishment, he lived a quiet life for the rest of his life in his hometown. His allegoric poetry were written in this second period. The special feature of allegoric poetry is strong satire. An allegory would be that is 'king's ear', which the barber has sight, or the barber's voice, which has divulged king's secret among the bamboos. Otherwise it would be that is the sound 'king's ear is donkey's ear' in the bamboos. This sound is divulging of the true donkey's ear. It doesn't travel to audiences, but travels trough wind in the bamboos. The narration exists just as story that barber can't stand to keep silence about king's secret. There are exposure of true and critical motive as allegoric expression. Tasan's allegoric poetry stand on the basis of his love for the people. Also there reveals his thought deeply with an enormous amount of reading and self-communion. Moreover there are his warm mind with his sharp insight in which captures alive lives as allegoric materials. Most of allegoric poetry satirize actuality of those days to make an excuse for external distinguishing marks of animals and plants. However Tasan's poetry are different from them. After he grasped serious problems from his contemporary actuality, and then choosed allegoric media to express correctly. Because he grasped the special features of lives after minute observation, he could exposure controversial point of the actual. His sharp insight was not limited to allegoric media. He noticed his period and the current of his society sensitively. It made his allegoric poetry as important materials to make us to know the condition of the people in the Joseon Dynasty. Tasan's allegoric poetry is inherited by Baek Seok[白石, 1912~1995] as regular juvenile literature. Baek Seok's juvenile stories are the results of expansion and transition for Tasan's allegoric poetry. Allegoric poetry was the shout of barber to prosecute about social irregularities and contradiction, and the sound of the bamboos to travel moaning of the people in the past. Now allegoric poetry create new emotion to make us to speculate ourselves with our surrounding. This changes are caused by special feature of allegoric poetry as a form to reflect our general lives.
The transition into a digital society has been accelerated in many aspects of our everyday social activities, and thereby, the unmanned order and payment system via kiosk has already has been seen commonly throughout the social community. Yet, the majority of the mid-to-elderly population have been experiencing difficulties utilizing this newly emerged unmanned system, resulting in the emergence of digital alienation among those age groups. In regard to this phenomenon, this study is intended to explore ways to improve the digital divide concerning the issues related to the unmanned order payment kiosks. In this process, the study involved close examination of various research perspectives on improving the digital divide and proceeded with the focus on both empirical and literature research on providing education on kiosk utilization. In addition, the study identified the limitations to the current kiosk education and proposed improved kiosk-education software UX that may help curtail the limitations. Through this, one was able to identify areas in which the efficacy of the education applied in kiosk usage and derived new measures that could improve the system. One anticipates having the results of this study put to use as research materials on educational service development to expand the opportunities of kiosk education for those mid-to-elderly age groups who experience a day-to-day digital alienation.
Matrix theory is widely used not only in mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering, but also in social sciences and artificial intelligence. In the 2009 revised mathematics curriculum, matrices were removed from high school math education to reduce the burden on students, but in anticipation of the age of artificial intelligence, they will be reintegrated into the 2022 revised education curriculum. Therefore, there is a need to analyze the matrix content covered in other countries to suggest a meaningful direction for matrix education and to derive implications for textbook composition. In this study, we analyzed the German mathematics curriculum and standard education curriculum, as well as the matrix units in the German Hesse state mathematics curriculum and textbook, and identified the characteristics of their content elements and development methods. As a result of our analysis, it was found that the German textbooks cover matrices in three categories: matrices for solving linear equations, matrices for explaining linear transformations, and matrices for explaining transition processes. It was also found that the emphasis was on mathematical reasoning and modeling when learning matrices. Based on these findings, we suggest that if matrices are to be reintegrated into school mathematics, the curriculum should focus on deep conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning, and mathematical modeling in textbook composition.
