디지털 펜을 활용한 스마트 교육 시스템 개발 (Development of Smart Education System using Digital Pen)

  • Usually, students write on a paper using writing materials and submit it to teachers when they do a homework or take an exam. However, there are temporal and spacial constraints because teachers and students should be in the same place at the time in this system. In addition, it is hard for teachers to maintain numerous papers from students. Applying a digital pen produced by Pen Generations Corporation to education system, we developed a smart education system transmitting image data from written papers using digital pen. As a result, teachers and students can use this system without any constraints. In addition, teachers are able to maintain their papers from students more effectively.

의학교육에서의 교육정보시스템 활용 (Utilization of an Educational Information System for Medical Education)

  • The teaching and learning environment in medical schools is significantly different from that of other academic fields. An educational information system specifically designed for medical education could be an important solution for the unique context of medical education. In this study, the concept of the educational information system has been reviewed, and how such a system can be utilized effectively for medical education has also been explored. This paper also addresses how learning management systems for online learning could be made more effective through educational information systems. The application of flipped learning, which has been developing rapidly to improve teaching and learning, for medical education was also investigated. In conclusion, it was found that educational information systems could be a solution to various teaching and learning issues in medical schools. In particular, given that high performing students tend to enter medical schools, using educational information systems to improve the teaching and learning environment in medical school should be investigated further.

  • We research a system of compressed-sensing computational ghost imaging (CSCGI) based on the intensity fluctuation brought by turbulence. In this system, we used the gamma-gamma intensity-fluctuation model, which is commonly used in transmission systems, to simulate the CSCGI system. By setting proper values of the parameters such as transmission distance, refractive-index structure parameter, and sampling rates, the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) performance and bit-error rate (BER) performance are obtained to evaluate the imaging quality, which provides a theoretical model to further research the ghost-imaging algorithm.

  • The Purpose of this study was to develop a data base system for the information on science education research and development. As a part of this study, an analysis of papers on science education included in five selected jounals related science education was done by the use of the authors classification system for the research and development materials of science education. A total of 640 papers from the first issues to the 1991 issues of the journals were classified and analyzed. The selected five journals were Journal of the Korean Association for Research in Science Education (published by The Korean Association for Research in Science Education, 148 papers), Teaching Physics(published by Korean Physical Society, 164papers), Chemical Education (published by The Korean Chemical Socity, 98 papers), The Korean Journal of Biological Education(published by The Korean Society of Biological Education, 148papers), and Journal of Science Education (published by Science Education Center.College of Education, Seoul National University, 82 papers).

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze expenditure on children's private, after-school education, perceptional need for private education, and budget planning pattern for the expenditure of education applying survey data, and to investigate current situation to Identify solving planning for digital age. taking on-line educational service system and internet financial planning for children's educational expenditure into account. Under the purposes, this study especially focused on the condition of on-line educational service system and the merits as well as problems of the system, the need for household financial planning for children's education, and the condition or nature of internet financial planning system, in terms of providing market information and of suggesting policy implications.

  • 이 논문은 사이버교육시스템의 평가방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 사이버 교육에 대한 정보기술의 급격한 발달에도 불구하고 사이버교육환경에 대한 평가 방법론에 대한 연구가 거의 없는 실정이다. 우리는 사이버교육시스템 평가를 위한 기준에 대하여 정의를 하고 시스템 솔루션 선택 및 평가를 위한 방법론을 제시한다. 기준들간의 상호영향관계를 고려하여 사이버교육시스템 평가 과정의 방법을 예제를 통하여 제시하고 있다.

Design of School Management Information System Based on the Indonesian National Education Standard

  • With a population of around 237,424,363 in 33 provinces, Indonesia is one developing countries that needs an excellent School Management Information System (SMIS) to accomplish its educational mission. To reach the goal, it is necessary to know the rules, culture of school and related data prior to building the SMIS. This study is focused on the Indonesian National Education Standards. It is has nine standards that are described by the Regulation of Education Ministry. To manage the schools' organization, this paper aims to develop a SMIS based on the Indonesian National Education Standards by using ARIS(Architecture of Integrated Information System) to help schools run efficiently. The new system will be built using UML(Unified Modeling Language), this new system conforms to the education rules of the government. Finally, the conclusion and future research are described.

  • 현재 추진하고 있는 교육부의 권한이 시·도교육청으로 배분되는 것을 환영하면서도 이것이 오히려 중앙 일개 기관에 집중되어 있던 권한을 현장에 더욱 가까운 지방 17개 기관으로 확대 증폭시키는 것이 되지 않을까 본인은 굉장히 우려하고 있다. 그간 학교교육을 저해하는 중요원인으로 교육부와 교육청이 공히 공동원인 제공자로 기능해 왔다. 교육부의 권한 이양은 기존 교육부의 기능과 역할의 양적 축소와 시·도 교육청 역할과 기능의 양적 확대로 귀결되는 순간 개악이 될 가능성이 높아진다. 학교자치에 대한 법적 장치도 마련되지 않은 현실에서 더욱이 수직적 관료행정 문화의 뿌리가 깊은 우리 교육계 풍토에서 학교자치 원칙을 강조하는 것은 말 뿐인 조치로 끝나거나 시늉내기 수준에서 멈춰버릴 가능성이 농후하다. 따라서 교육부의 권한을 넘겨받을 시·도교육청과 교육감의 권한을 견제할 수 있는 보다 안정적인 장치가 필요하다. 이는 학교자치가 법제화되어도 여전히 요구되는 제도이기도 하다. 따라서 독립적인 교육위원회 부활, 시·도 교육청에 지방교육위원회 설치, 주민참여제도(주민소환제, 주민직접발안제, 주민소송제, 주민투표제, 주민감사청구제도)의 활성화가 필요하다고 생각한다.

Establishment of Chosun University's Lifelone Education Support System for the Individuals with Disabilities: Department-Led Educational Innovation

  • The purpose This study was conducted to explore the procedures and plans to establish a university-based lifelong education support system for the individuals with disabilities at Chosun University. The research method consisted of expert consultation. Chosun University not only has various units of major(department) that can deepen and integrate knowledge and technology related to lifelong education for the individuals with disabilities, but also has various leadership and various infrastructures that can lead the practice of lifelong education for the individuals with disabilities in Gwangju and Jeonnam areas. The contents of this study were presented five procedures and plans such as the establishment of maintenance and convergence of majors (departments) units, the development and operation of department-led regional-linked education programs through extracurricular education, the introduction of majors in connection with extracurricular education program-linked courses, the selection of core departments, the establishment of cooperative courses between university and graduate schools, and the establishment and operation of lifelong education programs for the individuals with disabilities centered on lifelong education centers. As a result of the study, it was analyzed that the academic foundation of lifelong education for the individuals with disabilities, the guarantee of educational opportunities for the individuals with disabilities, and the lead of linkage between local related organizations can be expected through the establishment of the support system for lifelong education for the individuals with disabilities at Chosun University.

현대 과학교육의 동향과 시스템사고 패러다임의 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study of the Trends of Current Science Education and the System Thinking Paradigm)

  • The purposes of this study are to understand the trends of current science education compared with thinking paradigm and to find the direction of reform in holistic view. It is divided into three parts. Firstly, significant trends of science education during the late 20th century were examined. Secondly, the current society was discussed, particularly focused on the thinking paradigm. Thirdly, the science education trends and thinking paradigms were compared. The results are 1) A major goal of contemporary science education is the scientific literacy, for which the constructivist and STS class are introduced, 2) Thinking paradigm is changing from analytics to systemics, and 3) Compared the current science education and system thinking paradigm, they seem consistent in respect of looking for the whole-part relationship.
