Cases of IT Based Innovation in a Hospital (IT관점의 병원혁신 사례)

  • This research is for an innovative health information service cases based on Information Communication Technology (ICT), conducted at a general hospital in Korea. This study introduces a personal use self-diagnosis & self management device for pulmonary chronic disease patients, a mobile communication application service for doctor rounds, a surgical education system providing natural-user-interface with virtual reality for surgeons, and an Internet of things(IOT) technology using personal electrocardiogram (ECG) measurement device cases. Due to every case is on developing, there are still many issues needed to be improved. For this reason, various opinions with constructive critiques from the readers of this paper will be welcomed for better practical implementation.

  • 네트워크 환경의 보편화와 함께 원격강의와 가상실험에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 로봇공학교육에 있어서 가상현실은 가상실험을 구현하기 위한 밑바탕이 되며 값싸고 위험부담없이 실제실험과 유사한 환경을 구축하기 위한 도구가 된다. 본 논문에서는 월드와이트웹 상에서 동작가능하며 다양한 궤적과 제어기를 사용자가 조작하면서 비교 학습 할 수 있는 로봇제어 학습용 시뮬레이터를 개발한다. 가상로봇은 실제로봇과 유사한 특징을 가지며 게인값 설정에 따른 궤적추종을 로봇의 움직임으로 관찰할 수 있다.

  • 전세계 해상 조난 및 안전제도의 시행에 따라 GMDSS 통신설비의 운용과 이에 대한 정확안 활용이 요구된다. 본 연구의 목적은 GMDSS 시뮬레이션 교육이 해상무선통신사의 해상용 통신기기 및 운용에 관한 이해력을 평가하고자 하였다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 A1해역에서 발생한 조난신호에 대한 처리능력을 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 전송하는 단일 시나리오는 적용하여 남 녀 10명에게 상활을 이해하고 처리하는 능력을 평가하였다. 평가결과 시뮬레이션을 이용한 시나리오 전략 교수는 연구대상자의 조난상황 처리능력을 향상시키고 해상통신기기 및 활용에 대한 이해력을 높이는 것으로 평가되었다.

  • 본 논문은 영광 1호기 원자력발전소를 기준발전소로 하여 개발된 PRE-MARK 소개 및 PRE-MARK을 기반으로 개발된 노심모델의 결과를 제시하고자 하는 것을 주된 목적으로 하고 있다. 노심 모델개발에는 REMARK 모델 프로그램을 기반으로 개발된 PRE-MARK를 이용하였으며, PRE-MARK의 주요 특징으로는 노심모델 입력자료를 노심설계코드 및 Lattice코드로부터 자동으로 생성하며 GUI 기반으로 변경된 REMARK으로 입력하여 노심모델을 구동함과 동시에 실시간으로 중요 변수의 현재 값들을 그래프로 도시해줌으로 조율 (Tuning) 상수를 용이하게 결정할 수 있도록 하는 것이다 또한 BOL 및 EOL에서 HFP 평형 Xenon 조건에서의 제어봉 위치에 따른 제어봉가(Rod worth)를 영광 1호기 12주기 NDR(Nuclear Design Report)과 비교하고, 원자로정지 이후 BOL, MOL 및 EOL에서의 시간에 따른 Xenon의 반응도 영향을 비교함으로 개발된 모델의 건전성을 입증하였다.

Scatternet Formation Algorithm based on Relative Neighborhood Graph

  • This paper proposes a scatternet topology formation, self-healing, and self-routing path optimization algorithm based on Relative Neighborhood Graph. The performance of the algorithm using ns-2 and extensible Bluetooth simulator called blueware shows that even though RNG-FHR does not have superior performance, it is simpler and easier to implement in deploying the Ad-Hoc network in the distributed dynamic environments due to the exchange of fewer messages and the only dependency on local information. We realize that our proposed algorithm is more practicable in a reasonable size network than in a large scale.

  • 공학기술의 발전에 따라 인간은 Smart Learning을 넘어서 증강/가상현실 기술을 현실에 접목하여 교육의 매체로 사용을 하고자 여러 방면으로 시도를 하고 있다. 이에 과학교육 방면에서도 가상현실 환경 구축 기술을 이용하여 공간 및 상황 등의 여러 제한에서 벗어나 보다 다양하고 활동적인 실험을 할 수 있는 물리 실험 시뮬레이션을 필요로 하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Unity Editor를 이용하여 코드 스크립트를 적용하여 가상 세계를 구축하고 물리 현상 중 하나인 포물선 운동 공식을 활용한 실험 프로그램을 만들어 VR 구현기기인 Vive를 이용하여 실제 물리실험에 적용한 사례를 소개한다.

The Effects of Trauma-patient Training Education Using Simulation on Knowledge, Satisfaction and Problem-solving in Emergency medical Students (시뮬레이션을 활용한 외상환자 실습교육이 응급구조학과 학생들의 지식과 만족도 및 문제해결에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was progessed from March 3, 2015 to March 31 for purpose of evaluating the effects of the trauma-patient practice education using simulation on knowledge, satisfaction and problem-solving in paramedic students. To closely examine the adequacy of education for paramedic students in one university, a comparison was made by dividing 28 male and female students into two groups of experimental group with 14 students and control group with 14 students. The experimental group was carried out the practice education of the trauma-patient simulation using simulator. The control group was conducted the theoretical and practical education through a traditional instructor-led class. As a result of the research, the experimental group can be known to be significantly higher(t=2.09, p<.05) than the control group in the post-knowledge survey and satisfaction following the development in each educational method for 4 weeks. Also, in consequence of the variable-based correlation in the sub-factors of satisfaction, a correlation was shown between interest and clinical help or between interest and problem-solving ability(p<.05, p<.01). Based on the results of this study, it is considered that the simulation practice education in the emergency department is demanded and that the practice education will need to be continuously applied through developing a proper scenario.

Performance Evaluation of Layered Mobility Management Schemes for Wireless Mobile Internet (무선 이동 인터넷에서 계층 이동성 관리기법의 성능평가)

  • The aim of this study is to present the handover procedures and the performance comparisons of layered mobility management schemes for wireless mobile Internet. To investigate efficient mobility management schemes providing seamless information services in a mobile environment, this paper provided the detailed discussions of existing network layered mobility management scheme, including Mobile IPv4, Mobile IPv6, and new transport layer mobility management scheme, stream control transmission protocol (SCTP) based mobility architecture (SMA). Network simulator-2 (ns-2) was used to compare the performance between Mobile IPv6 and SMA in the wireless mobile Internet environment. Simulation results show that for typical network configuration and parameters, SMA has a lower handover latency, lower packet loss rate, and higher throughput than Mobile IPv6.

Nurses' Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Performance during the First 5 minutes in In-Situ Simulated Cardiac Arrest (심정지 초기 5분간 일반간호사의 심폐소생술 수행 분석: 현장 시뮬레이션을 이용하여)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills and teamwork of nurses in simulated cardiac arrests in the hospital. Methods: A descriptive study was conducted with 35 teams of 3 to 4 registered nurses each in a university hospital located in Seoul. A mannequin simulator was used to enact simulated cardiac arrest. Assessment included critical actions, time elapsed to initiation of critical actions, quality of cardiac compression, and teamwork which comprised leadership behavior and communication among team members. Results: Among the 35 teams, 54% recognized apnea, 43% determined pulselessness. Eighty percent of the teams compressed at an average elapsed time of $108{\pm}75$ seconds with 35%, 36%, and 67% mean rates of correct compression depth, rate, and placement, respectively. Thirty-seven percent of the teams defibrillated at $224{\pm}67$ seconds. Leadership behavior and communication among team members were absent in 63% and 69% of the teams, respectively. Conclusion: The skills of the nurses in this study cannot be considered adequate in terms of appropriate and timely actions required for resuscitation. Future resuscitation education should focus on improving the quality of cardiopulmonary resuscitation including team performance targeting the first responders of cardiac arrest.

An Implementation of Base System for Web-based Cyber Engineering Laboratories (공학용 가상 실험실을 위한 Web용 기반 시스템의 구축)

  • Recently there have been many Internet-based studies to provide personal users an efficient educational tool making use of multimedia data. The typical examples are remote education and virtual university where many educational trials on theory-based contents have been performed more frequently than those on experiment-based contents for engineering area. This paper describes about a base system implemented as an example of Internet-based experiment-oriented educations to establish cyber engineering laboratories for mechanics, electronics and chemistry. For the first time as a model of cyber engineering laboratories we herein Introduce in detail a server-and-client-based simulative method in which the result may be displayed on computer monitor of client PC while a simulator program is executed on the server. Secondly we introduce an interactive method in which the user of client PC may not only communicate directly with experiment server after initial connection with management server but also he can confirm the status of experiment being performed by way of video as well as experimental result.
