간호 시뮬레이션 교육이 간호대학생의 문제해결과정과 자기효능감에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Nursing Simulation-Based Education on Problem Solving Process and Self-efficacy of Nursing College Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to approve the effects of nursing simulation-based education on problem solving process and self-efficacy for nursing students. The nursing students of 244 participated the nursing simulation-based education of 60 hours. The questionnaire survey on problem solving process and self-efficacy were conducted 2 time(before education, after education) to the nursing students. The data were analyzed by the SPSS 12.0 program. The results were as follows; There was a statistically significant increase in problem solving process(t=2.637, p=.012) but no statistically significants self-efficacy(t=0.135, p=.743) effects of nursing simulation-based training in nursing college students. There was a significant positive correlation between problem solving process and self-efficacy(r=0.737, p=.017). In conclusion, the study found that nursing simulation-based education for nursing students may increase problem solving process but no effective self-efficacy.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 시뮬레이션 실습교육이 간호대학생의 임상판단력, 자신감, 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 효과를 파악하고자 실시되었으며 단일군 사전-사후 실험연구이다. 연구 대상자는 S지역에 소재한 간호학과 2학년 시뮬레이션 실습교과목을 수강한 45명의 학생으로 자료는 설문지를 이용하여 시뮬레이션 실습교육 전 후에 수집되었다. 연구결과 임상판단력, 자신감, 임상수행능력 모두가 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다. 그러므로 시뮬레이션 실습교육이 간호대학생의 임상판단력과 자신감, 임상수행능력에 미치는 긍정적인 효과를 확인하였다. 추후 임상판단력, 자신감, 임상수행능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 시뮬레이션 실습교육의 모듈 개발 및 효과를 검증할 수 있는 연구가 필요하다고 사료된다.

경영 모의 게임의 교육 효과에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Education Effect of Business Simulation Game)

  • 디지털 기술이 발전함에 따라서 다양한 유형의 디지털 컨텐츠가 경영 교육 분야에 활용되고 있다. 그 중에서 현실 세계를 가상 게임화 해서 기업 경영을 체험해 보는 경영 모의 게임(business simulation game)이 경영 교육 분야에서 널리 활용되고 있다. 다른 경영 교육 방법에 비해서 많은 장점을 가지고 있는 경영 모의 게임은 외국의 많은 대학과 기업에서 경영 교육 도구로서 널리 활용하고 있으나 국내에서는 널리 활용되고 있지 못하는 상황이다. 본 연구에서는 경영 모의 게임을 수강한 기업 관리자를 중심으로 경영 모의 게임의 교육 효과를 탐색적으로 분석하였다. 통계적 분석 결과, 경영 모의 게임을 수강한 교육생들은 경영 모의 게임의 교육 효과에 대해서 긍정적으로 생각하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 통계적 분석 결과와 경영 모의 게임의 개발과 교육 경험을 기반으로 경영 모의 게임을 교육 현장에 활성화할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

The Effect of Transient Tachypnea Newborn Care Simulation Learning on Nursing Students' Critical Thinking Disposition, Clinical Performance ability, and Self- confidence

  • The purpose of this study is to understand the effects of simulation-based practice education on critical thinking disposition, clinical performance ability, and self-confidence. Using the method of one-group pretest-posttest experimental research, this study selected total 70 nursing students (3rd year) as research subjects. The final research subjects were total 63 students excluding seven people with insufficient responses. From March to April 2023, total eight sessions of simulation practice education (4 hours per session) were conducted once a week. In the effects of the program, the critical thinking disposition, clinical performance ability, and self-confidence were measured. Using the SPSS Window Version 25.0, the critical thinking disposition, clinical performance ability, and self-confidence were analyzed through the mean, standard deviation, and paired t-test. In the results of this study, the critical thinking disposition (t=-10.61, p<.001), clinical performance ability (t=-3.06, p=.003), and self-confidence (t=-15.97, p<.001) were statistically significant. In the results of analyzing the correlations of clinical performance ability, and self-confidence after the simulation practice education, the learning satisfaction showed significantly positive correlation with immersion (r= .647, p<.001). The results of this study verified the improvement of critical thinking disposition, clinical performance ability, and self-confidence of nursing students after the simulation-based practice education. Thus, it would be necessary to develop the educational contents for various subjects, and also to expansively apply the simulation practice education.

두부손상 시물레이션 시나리오 개발 및 수행평가 (Development of Scenario and Evaluation on the Implementation of Head Trauma Simulation)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop a scenario and evaluate the performance of paramedic students in head trauma simulation education. Method: This study selected a refined head trauma scenario that was developed by graduate students during class from september to November, 2010. Evaluation on implementation of head trauma simulation was conducted on seventeen paramedic students divided into four groups during November, 2010. Results: 1. The head trauma scenario was developed according to the patient assessment for approximately 10 minutes. It contained scene size-up, initial assessment and intervention, rapid trauma assessment and intervention, and decision of transfer. 2. The average time turned out to be 9 min and 36 sec after simulation learning. Total mean score in simulation performance was 2.20, the highest score was 2.44 in initial assessment and intervention, and the lowest score was 1.5 in decision of transfer. 3. Confidence mean was high with the score of 1.0. Conclusion: The finding of this study demonstrate that the simulation education can improve problem-solving ability and critical thinking, and increase the confidence in prehospital emergency care; therefore, simulation may be the new effective paramedic education strategy and simulation learning is needed for further development of various scenarios.

일 대학 간호학생의 학습유형별 시뮬레이션 교육 효과 (Effects of High-Fidelity Simulation-Based Training of Nursing Students according to their Learning Styles)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 일개 대학 간호과 3학년 학생 145명을 대상으로 학습유형별 시뮬레이션 교육 전 후 자기효능감, 문제해결능력, 임상수행능력 차이를 파악하여 학습유형별 시뮬레이션 교육을 제공하기 위한 기초자료를 마련하고자 실시하였다. 본 연구는 시뮬레이션교육 후 학습유형별로 효과를 검증하기 위한 단일군 전후설계 실험연구이다. 본 연구 결과 간호학생의 학습유형은 적응자가 가장 많았으며, 시뮬레이션 교육 후 문제해결능력(F=5.015, p=.02)과 임상수행능력(F=3.288, p=.02)은 유의한 차이를 나타냈으며, 문제해결능력은 융합자와 분사자가 적응자보다, 임상수행능력은 융합자가 적응자보다 유의하게 높게 나타나 학습유형별 시뮬레이션 교육의 효과에 차이가 있음을 확인하였다. 그러나 자기효능감은 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 학습유형별로 시뮬레이션교육을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

시뮬레이션을 활용한 분만간호 실습교육의 효과 (Effects of High-fidelity Simulation-based Education on Maternity Nursing)

  • Purpose: This study examined the effects of simulation-based education on knowledge about and self-confidence in maternity nursing care in senior students. Methods: One group, pre-post design, was utilized with 28 students. The simulation-based maternity nursing education that consisted of two sessions each 2 hours long for intrapartum and postpartum care was provided to 4 small groups. An expert panel of 3 maternity clinical instructors developed the module with a high-fidelity maternal simulator. Core items of knowledge about and self-confidence in maternity nursing care were measured with 13 items before and after the sessions. Results: The knowledge score did not increase significantly (z=-1.95, p=.05); however, self-confidence in maternity nursing care showed a significant change in the posttest (z=-2.82, p<.001). The subjective evaluation of the students indicated that the simulation-based education was helpful in preparing for clinical practicum as far as interaction with clients, psychological readiness to practice, and learning efficiencies. Conclusion: The simulation-based nursing education was useful in improving self-confidence in clinical performance for childbirth and postpartum care in nursing students. Along with the application of diverse scenarios in simulations, modules with standard patients and role-plays are also recommended for maternity nursing practicum to empower the competency of the students.

Effects of Clinical Nursing Simulation by Standardized Patient Instructor on Teaching Effectiveness and Clinical Nursing Performance of Nursing Student

  • This study is quasi-experimental study of nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design which applied simulation nursing education programs by standardized patient instructor to look into the effect on the Teaching Effectiveness and Clinical Nursing Performance of nursing students. There was a significant difference between two groups in the Teaching Effectiveness of the nursing students(t= 3.68, p<0.001). There was a no significant difference between two groups in the Clinical Nursing Performance of the nursing students.(t = 1.724, p = 0.089). The simulation nursing education by standardized patient instructor program can help then relieve the Teaching Efficacy of the nursing students. In addition, it is required to develop an appropriate simulation nursing education by standardized patient instructor program considering level and experience of nursing students.

간호학생을 위한 응급상황관리 시뮬레이션 실습 교과목 개발 및 적합성 평가 (Development and Applicability Evaluation of an Emergent Care Management Simulation Practicum for Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: This study was to evaluate the applicability of an emergent care management simulation practicum which is for enhancing nursing students' emergent care management competency based on the Nursing Education Simulation Model. Methods: One group pre-post experimental design was conducted for evaluation of the applicability of the simulation practicum. A convenient sample of 60 senior nursing students was participated. The simulation practicum was provided for 26 hours per student at the end of the first semester of senior year. Educational practices in simulation scale, simulation design scale and learning outcomes were measured. Higher positive correlations between variables represent applicability. Descriptive analysis, paired t-test and Pearson correlation coefficient were used for data analyses. Results: Among contractual components of nursing education simulation model, educational practices in simulation and simulation design (r=.80, p<.010), learning outcomes (r=.71-.28, p<.050), simulation design and learning outcomes (r=.72-.30, p<.050) were significantly correlated. Critical thinking (t=-3.63, p<.050) and problem solving competence (t=-2.55, p<.050) were significantly increased by this simulation practicum. It represents the applicability of an emergent care management simulation practicum. Conclusion: This emergent care management simulation practicum was appropriate to enhance the nursing students' emergent care management coping competency.

팀기반 학습을 적용한 분만간호 시뮬레이션 실습교육이 간호대학생의 간호지식, 자기효능감과 임상수행능력에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Practical Delivery-nursing Simulation Education on Team-based Learning on the Nursing Knowledge, Self-efficacy, and Clinical Competence of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: To identify the effects of delivery-nursing simulation education using team-based learning on the delivery nursing knowledge, self-efficacy, and clinical competence of nursing students. Methods: The study used a nonequivalent, control group, quasi-experimental design. The team-based learning was applied to the experimental group, while the individual learning was applied to the control group. Data were collected from October 12 to December 7, 2016, and analyzed using the SPSS/WIN 22.0 program. Results: Comparison between the experimental and control group showed no significant difference in delivery-nursing knowledge (t=-0.33, p=.741) or self-efficacy (t=-0.65, p=.515). However, a significant difference (t=-2.09, p=.048) in the nursing-skills aspect of clinical competence was found between the experimental and control groups after the practical simulation education. Conclusion: Delivery-nursing simulation education using team-based learning was more effective in improving the nursing-skills aspect of nursing competence than was delivery-nursing simulation education based on individual learning.
