벤처기업 종업원의 조직몰입에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Factors that Effect the Organizational Commitment of Employees in the Organization in a Venture Company)

  • This study focuses on forces and correlation among such independent factors as the style of leadership, motivation and relationship in order to find out what kind of ingredients have an effect on the employees' organizational commitment in a venture company. It is likely that the organizational commitment of the employees in the organization in a venture company may be different from that of existing enterprises since they differ 100 percent in their nature. In an attempt to prove it, actual corroboration has been made. As a result, it turned out that transformational leadership had a great impact on the organizational commitment while transactional leadership did not; in the motivation factor, the more vision the employees envisage, the more organizational commitment they show followed by management goals and self-admiration; in the relational factor, more openness in the communication led the employees to devote themselves to their companies, which was valid in the range of 90% in the confidence index. This study reveals that there is not much difference between venture and general companies in the factors that affect employees' organizational commitment in the organization. Therefore, the Chief Executive Officer in the venture company should make a favorable environment with transformational leadership and obvious vision through free and open communication with colleagues so that his or her employees can devote themselves to the organization to which they belong, since venture companies are usually staffed by young workers with high education.

멀티모달 인터페이스(3차원 시각과 음성 )를 이용한 지능적 가상검객과의 전신 검도게임 (A Full Body Gumdo Game with an Intelligent Cyber Fencer using Multi-modal(3D Vision and Speech) Interface)

  • 본 논문에서는 멀티모달(multi-modal) 인터페이스를 통해 지능적 가상검객과 체감형 검도게임을 할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 검도게임 시스템은 멀티모달 인터페이스(시각과 청각), 인공지능(AI), 피드백(스크린과 사운드) 등 크게 세 가지 모듈로 구성된다. 첫 번째로, 멀티모달 인터페이스는 시각기반, 3차원 인터페이스를 이용하여 사용자가 자유롭게 3차원 공간에서 움직일 수 있도록 하고, 음성기반 인터페이스를 이용하여 사용자가 현실감 있는 검도게임을 즐길 수 있도록 한다. 두 번째, 인공지능은 가상검객에게 멀티모달 인터페이스에서 입력되는 시각과 음성을 인식하여 가상검객의 반응을 유도한다. 마지막으로, 대형 스크린과 스피커를 통한 시청각 피드백은 체감형 상호작용을 통하여 사용자가 몰입감을 느끼며 검도게임을 경험할 수 있도록 한다. 따라서 제안된 시스템은 전신의 움직임으로 사용자에게 몰입감의 검도게임을 제공한다. 제안된 시스템은 오락 외에 교육, 운동, 예술행위 등 다양한 분야에 적용될 수 있다.

The Effects of Emergency Medical Education Center on Teachers' Knowledge, Attitude and Self-Efficacy on Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation

  • 본 연구는 심폐소생술 교육이 유치원 및 초·중등 교사의 지식, 태도, 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 시도되었다. 자료 수집은 2023년 3월 21일부터 6월 20일까지 일개 응급의료 교육센터에서 심폐소생술 교육을 받은 J도 소재 유치원 및 초·중등 교사 176명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 20.0을 이용하여 일반적 특성, 지식, 태도, 자기효능감, 교육프로그램의 효과를 분석하였다. 연구결과 교육 후 지식점수(t=-15.93, p<.001), 태도점수(t=-5.11, p<.001), 자기효능감 점수(t=-12.52, p<.001)가 유의하게 증가하였다. 전문가에 의한 교육을 통해 지식, 태도, 자기효능감이 향상되었으며, 지식의 증가가 태도와 자기효능감을 높인 것으로 생각된다. 따라서, 효과적인 심폐소생술 교육을 위한 방안 모색이 필요하겠다.

Utilizing Machine Learning Algorithms for Recruitment Predictions of IT Graduates in the Saudi Labor Market

  • One of the goals of the Saudi Arabia 2030 vision is to ensure full employment of its citizens. Recruitment of graduates depends on the quality of skills that they may have gained during their study. Hence, the quality of education and ensuring that graduates have sufficient knowledge about the in-demand skills of the market are necessary. However, IT graduates are usually not aware of whether they are suitable for recruitment or not. This study builds a prediction model that can be deployed on the web, where users can input variables to generate predictions. Furthermore, it provides data-driven recommendations of the in-demand skills in the Saudi IT labor market to overcome the unemployment problem. Data were collected from two online job portals: LinkedIn and Bayt.com. Three machine learning algorithms, namely, Support Vector Machine, k-Nearest Neighbor, and Naïve Bayes were used to build the model. Furthermore, descriptive and data analysis methods were employed herein to evaluate the existing gap. Results showed that there existed a gap between labor market employers' expectations of Saudi workers and the skills that the workers were equipped with from their educational institutions. Planned collaboration between industry and education providers is required to narrow down this gap.

A Local Feature-Based Robust Approach for Facial Expression Recognition from Depth Video

  • Facial expression recognition (FER) plays a very significant role in computer vision, pattern recognition, and image processing applications such as human computer interaction as it provides sufficient information about emotions of people. For video-based facial expression recognition, depth cameras can be better candidates over RGB cameras as a person's face cannot be easily recognized from distance-based depth videos hence depth cameras also resolve some privacy issues that can arise using RGB faces. A good FER system is very much reliant on the extraction of robust features as well as recognition engine. In this work, an efficient novel approach is proposed to recognize some facial expressions from time-sequential depth videos. First of all, efficient Local Binary Pattern (LBP) features are obtained from the time-sequential depth faces that are further classified by Generalized Discriminant Analysis (GDA) to make the features more robust and finally, the LBP-GDA features are fed into Hidden Markov Models (HMMs) to train and recognize different facial expressions successfully. The depth information-based proposed facial expression recognition approach is compared to the conventional approaches such as Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Independent Component Analysis (ICA), and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) where the proposed one outperforms others by obtaining better recognition rates.

학습코칭 부모교육 프로그램 개발 및 평가 : 학령기 가족을 중심으로 (Development and Evaluation of Parent Education Program for Learning Coaching : Focused on Families with School Aged Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop Parent Education Program for Learning Coaching which enhances parent's learning-support behaviors, as well as, children's self-Efficacy and self-regulated learning capability, and to implement and evaluate the program for the families with school aged children. The results of this study were as follows. First, the contents of the experimental model of 'Parent Education Program for Learning Coaching' were specified as five factors namely; offering options, offering democratic rules, pursuing appropriate results, offering school-related information, offering self-regulated learning skills for children. Second, significant differences in the experiment group were found in pre- and post-test scores of parent's learning-support behaviors and children's self-efficacy and self-regulated learning capability, but not for the control group. Thus, based on these findings, a modified model of 'Parent Education Program for Learning Coaching' was presented as a conclusion.

일본의 학부과정 도서관학 교육 형성과정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Developmental Process of University-based Librarianship Education in Japan)

  • 본 연구는 일본의 학부과정 도서관학 교육의 형성과정을 문헌 분석을 통해 역사적으로 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 결과, 교육제도적 측면에서 본 일본의 도서관학 교육정책은 2차대전 이전의 정책을 승계한 것인데 반해 미국의 정책은 새로운 유형의 교육모델을 설치하는 것이었다. 1951년 미육군성과 미국도서관협회(ALA)의 계약 체결로 게이오대학에 미국식 도서관학 교육모델이 설립되었다. 그러나 현재 게이오대학 모델은 일본의 도서관학 교육의 주류모델로 성장하지 못했고 이는 결국 미국식 도서관학 교육모델의 도입이 성공하지 못했다는 것을 의미한다. 2차대전 이후 아시아에서 가장 빠른 시기에 미국식 도서관학 교육모델이 도입된 일본에 관한 본 연구가 향후 도서관사 연구영역의 확장 또는 대상국을 확대한 후속연구로 이어지기를 기대한다.

  • Augmented Reality (AR) is a useful technology for various industrial systems. This paper suggests a new playground system which uses markerless AR technology. We developed a virtual playground system that can learn physics and kinematics from the physical play of people. The virtual playground is a space in which real scenes and CG are mixed. As for the CG objects, physics of the real world is used. This is realized by a physics engine. Therefore it is necessary to analyze information from cameras, so that CG reflects the real world. Various games options are possible using real world images and physics simulation in the virtual playground. We think that the system is effective for education. Because CG behaves according to physics simulation, users can learn physics and kinematics from the system. We think that the system can take its place in the field of education through entertainment.

  • 기존에 존재하는 패션 웹 사이트 에서는 상의, 하의 등의 품목에서는 한 가지 종류의 옷에 대한 검색결과만 보여주기 때문에 사용자가 원하는 옷에 대한 조합을 찾을 수 없다. 또 패션 시장이 성장함에 따라 소비자들은 다양한 패션 정보를 찾을 수 플랫폼을 요구하고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 하여 딥러닝을 통한 이미지분류를 웹 사이트와 연동하고 SNS 기능을 접목하는 아이디어를 고안해냈다. 웹 사이트에 사용자가 본인의 이미지을 업로드하여 딥러닝 서버를 통해서 이미지의 특징을 파악하고 분류하여 저장한다. 사용자들은 저장된 정보를 가지고 여러 조합을 통해 원하는 이미지들을 검색할 수 있다. 또 SNS 기능을 통해 사용자간의 커뮤니케이션이 활발하게 이루어질 수 있다. 이를 통해서 기존에 존재하는 패션 관련 사이트의 문제를 해결하는 방안을 마련하였다.

  • In the area of the multimedia computer, the demand for the image processing engineer is large. However, there are not many engineers capable of developing practical systems. To teach practical image processing techniques, we need an intergrated education systems which can efficiently present the image processing theory and, at the same time, provide interactive experiments for the theory presented. In this paper, we propose an integrated education systems for the image processing. It consists of the theory presentation systems and the experiment systems. The theory presentation systems uspports multimedia display functions and HTML. It is tightly integrated with the experiment systems which developed based on the integrated image processing algorithm development system called Hello-vision.
