The purpose of this research is to compare the present education for information professionals in the United Kingdom and the United States of America. It is intended to find out how the differences in the professional organization's role on the education and the educational institution's status of the two countries influence on the professional education. The research was done through the reviews of literature searched and the analyses of the data on the web-based home pages of the institutions concerned. It is concluded that the differences have caused the different educational patterns of the countries. The similarities and differences are interpreted and some suggestions are provided.

전기사업의 자유화, 규제완화가 진행되는 가운데 분산 전원장비의 고 효율화, 저 가격화로 분산 전원의 도입이 급속하게 추진되고 있다. 하지만 분산형 전원이 다수 계통에 연계되었을 때, 전압, 주파수, 계통보호와 기존계통의 전력품질 등에 문제점이 제기되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 고조파의 연계기준(IEEE Std 1547)으로 기존의 전력계통에 태양광발전을 연계시 발생되는 고조파를 평가하는 방법을 제시하였고 분석결과를 검토하였다.

Today in different higher educational institutions there is the active on a structure of expert models of monitoring the quality of education in the higher educational institutions, assuming continuous tracking an education status as a whole and its separate components. In most cases creation of a monitoring system of quality of education relies on the intermediate results of activities.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between materialism and conspicuous consumption, and information sources. Data were administered to 357 women living in Sunchon from June to July 1999. For analysis of the data, factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, duncan's multiple range test, and multiple regression analysis were employed. The results of this study were summarized as follows. 1) Materialism was shown to have the significant differences according to age, marriage, education, occupation, social stratification groups. The higher the education, occupational status, social stratification groups and the lower the age is, or unmarried, the higher is materialism. The use of information sources were shown to have the significant differences according to age, marriage, education, occupation, income, social stratification groups. The higher the education, income, social stratification groups. The higher the education, income, occupational status, social stratification groups and the lower the age is, or unmarried, the higher is use of information. 2) Materialism was shown to have the significant differences according to the groups of conspicuous consumption. The higher materialism is, the higher is use of information. 4) According to the results of the regression analysis examining the relative influences of variables affecting information, the relative importance of the variables are in order of ; happiness-pursuable materialism, conspicuous consumption and their explanatory power totalled 18.6%.

According to the development of the educational information business, many schools have been changing. For example, school networks and education networks have been constructed, the teaching-learning methods have been diversified, and information has been shared. But the information are not being controlled and shared effectively in schools and classrooms. The purpose of this study is to research school networks increasing efficiency highly with low expenses, to design Linux-based class management database on the basis of analyzing the teacher's class management, and to develop this database which can help teachers manage classes effectively.

Educational utilization of the Web has drawn much interest from educational institutions due to advantages such as arousing interest, self-motivated participation, and acquisition of up-to-the-minute information beyond time and spatial limitation. Researches have been focused on searching and retrieving information from the Web in many different ways. In this paper, we introduce Web-based project which emphasizes on an organized and unified way of using the Web, a higher level methodology than just gathering and searching information. The advantages of Web-based project can be considered as wide experiences of the subject, integrated curricular education, creativity development, cultivation of cooperative spirit, global education, etc. We address basic concepts of managing Web-based project and discuss applicable areas. Also, we propose a fundamental design structure of Web-based project.

The importance of Information Technology practical use is embossed and grounding education for this was introduced from first-year student in primary school. This study is to design and implement new set of study program that can minimize individual variation in learning, analyzing the grounding education in Information and Communication. Herein basic stuff is selected for the lower grader at Elementary School and for the Courseware design, here introduced Perfect study strategy that makes use of the formative evaluation and feed back, aiming at perfect study. And also the diversified presentation of study materials with the use of multimedia can enhance the student's learning awareness. In faithful reflection of it, individual student's progress and interested in learning is incorporated into the designing the Courseware.

This study aims to develop the education program of the presidential archives based on the NIE for social studies. Especially, this study provided an opportunity to develop information processing capacity through newspapers reflecting rapidly changing social environment for users of presidential archives. With the process, it provides an opportunity for users to develop information literacy, which has become a necessity in information society. Through the education program students may have various experiences, wider perspective and diversity with self-directed learning. To perform the goal, this study proposed an education program using presidential archives based on NIE and an applied case.

The purpose of this paper is to improve curricula of the library and information science education as well as continuing education for children's librarians. For this purpose, the study examined current curricula provided for children's librarianship and continuing education programs. A questionnaire survey of the educational background of current children's librarians was also conducted. Based on the results, this study proposed model curricula in the library and information science education and continuing education programs to train children's librarians.

The informatics education pursues to improve computational thinking ability. The purpose of this study is to explore the instructional methods for the informatics education of the 2015 revised curriculum to be effectively operated at the school. To do this, we investigate the characteristics of information curriculum in 2015 curriculum and teaching and learning methods of informatics education. Through this, it is expected that it will be able to gain a viewpoint on teaching methods of informatics education curriculum and can help the direction of teaching and learning research of informatics education.
