  • The purpose of this study is to measure teachers' beliefs to teach software education effectively. Based on the revised version of the STEBI-B questionnaire, factors influencing the software education were added through the literature review and composed of sub-factors of the category of personal software education teaching efficacy and software education outcome expectancy. And then, 146 in-service elementary school teachers were surveyed preliminary 35 questions. The collected data were analyzed by factor analysis and reliability analysis, and 5 items were deleted to complete the final item. A factor analysis and reliability analysis of the final 30 questions were conducted to demonstrate the appropriateness of the item composition, and software education teaching efficacy belief instrument(SE-TEBI) was developed.

  • It is important for residents to give opinions and participate in urban regeneration projects. Urban regeneration college is being operated to strengthen the capacity of residents. In this study, the educational satisfaction of the students was surveyed while conducting the program of urban regeneration college. By analyzing survey, we intend to derive implications when constructing an urban regeneration college education program. The survey was conducted on 215 students from urban regeneration college in y-gun. Analysis was performed using the spss24.0 program. As a result of factor analysis, it was classified into three factors: education design, education culture, and education support. All three factors had significant differences in educational satisfaction. Satisfaction with education had a significant effect on the possibility of village development. Satisfaction was different according to the contents of the educational program according to the awareness of urban regeneration. For those who are aware of urban regeneration, educational culture among educational programs has more influence on educational satisfaction. Those who were not aware of urban regeneration had an effect on education support and education satisfaction. The results of this study can be used as basic data when planning educational programs for urban regeneration college.

  • In this study, the Infants & Toddlers' Playfulness Scale(ITPS) was developed and its reliability and validity were examined. The participants in this study consisted of 656 parents whose children were 8 to 36 months old. Five factors were identified from the results of the exploratory factor analysis performed on the 29 items that had been derived by analyzing existing research. The Goodness of Fit Indices(GFIs) of the confirmatory factor analyses, performed on the 1st-order 5-factor model and the 2nd-order one factor model, were both satisfactory. Concurrent validity was established by the high correlations of r = .631~.808(p < .01) between each factor of the ITPS and the total score of the Children's Playfulness Scale(CPS), an existing measure for children's playfulness. The reliability of each factor, as measured by Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, ranged from .773 to .883. Consequently, the ITPS developed in this study can be seen as a reliable and valid scale that can be used by parents to measure the playfulness of their infants and toddlers in a multi-dimensional manner.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a tool which can be used in factor analysis of inequality on mathematics scholastic achievement. The objectives for study are as follows: First, we develop a model for 'factor analysis of inequality on mathematics scholastic achievement' transformed from Persell's 'A model for factor analysis of inequality on education'. Second, we analyze the inequality factors with the deviation index of objects on mathematics scholastic achievement that we have developed. The results of this study are as follows: We development a model for 'factor analysis of inequality on Mathematics' and inequality factors on mathematics scholastic achievement in secondary schools are private education, scholarships of parents, region, sex and school system. The factors most influenced in mathematics scholastic achievement are economic standings of household, scholarships of parents and private educations in order.

  • Growing serious on the required conditions for the On-the-Job Education Training at the firm field, a large number of firm make a plan for implementation and pushing ahead of the On-the-Job Education Training. Further, A lot of firms effort to attract multi-professional person at an firm level recently. However, there were little information about the what for the reason to choose the OJET, come what may on the OJET and how to thinking on the outcome for the latent employee. On the basis of these issues, this study discovered the motivations from the employee point, finding out the factors on the effect of the choice as the OJET type and the integration point of view. The study results found out significant variables of the OJET type factor, the business for which one is responsible factor, OJET participation reason factor, business environment factor and individual background factor on the OJET decision plan. On the basis of the results, this article further discusses what we need to do for the intensity of participation invigoration at a firm level.

  • A novel method to measure the scale factor for the all-optical atomic spin inertial measurement device (ASIMD) is demonstrated in this paper. The method can realize the calibration of the scale factor by a self-consistent method with small errors in the quiescent state. At first, the matured IMU (inertial measurement unit) device was fixed on an optical platform together with the ASIMD, and it has been used to calibrate the scale factor for the ASIMD. The results show that there were some errors causing the inaccuracy of the experiment. By the comparative analysis of theory and experiment, the ASIMD was unable to keep pace with the IMU. Considering the characteristics of the ASIMD, the mismatch between the driven frequency of the optical platform and the bandwidth of the ASIMD was the major reason. An all-optical atomic spin magnetometer was set up at first. The sensitivity of the magnetometer is ultra-high, and it can be used to detect the magnetization of spin-polarized noble gas. The gyromagnetic ratio of the noble gas is a physical constant, and it has already been measured accurately. So a novel calibration method for scale factor based on the gyromagnetic ratio has been presented. The relevant theoretical analysis and experiments have been implemented. The results showed that the scale factor of the device was $7.272V/^{\circ}/s$ by multi-group experiments with the maximum error value 0.49%.

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the validity of Ohio State Teacher Efficacy Scale(OSTES: Tschannen-Moran, 2000) when used with Korean home economics teachers. To achieve this purposes, the surveys with 263 secondary school home economics teachers was conducted by the prime investigator. Statistical procedures included descriptive statistics, factor analysis, internal consistency. Cronbach's a was calculated to test the reliability of items and their internal consistency and Exploratory Factor Analysis(EFA) was conducted to test the structure of each factors with principal analysis and varimax rotation. Confirmatory Factor Analysis(CFA) was conducted to test the factor validity of this scale with AMOS program. The reliability test result of 20 items appeared Cronbach's a=.86. The factor analysis on teacher efficacy with 263 survey of secondary school home economics teachers produced 5 factors including efficacy in classroom management. efficacy in needs assistance, efficacy in instructional strategies, efficacy in environmental assistance and efficacy in teaming assistance. The validity of teacher efficacy scale was moderately verified by the confirmatory factor analyses(GFI=.87, AGFI=.84. CFI=.86. PNFI=.72, RMR=.05. RMSEA=.07). The results lend a support to the teacher efficacy scale as a valid instrument.

  • We isolated endophytic fungi from the coniferous leaves of Abies koreana and Taxus cuspidata inhabiting Mt. Hallasan, Korea. The isolated fungal strains were identified based on a phylogenetic analysis using nucleotide sequences of the internal transcribed spacer region, large subunit region of ribosomal DNA, and translation elongation factor region. Results confirmed four prevously unreported endophytic fungi in Korea: Lachnellula hyalina, Ochrocladosporium elatum, Phacidium lacerum, and Phyllosticta cussoniae. In this report, we describe the morphological characteristics of these fungi and the results of the phylogenetic analysis.

  • We isolated endophytic fungi from Smilax china and Cryptomeria japonica. These fungal strains were identified based on their morphological characteristics and phylogenetic analyses of their internal transcribed spacer, large subunit rDNA, and translation elongation factor 1-α DNA. Among them, we discovered two fungi belonging to the genus Phyllosticta, which have not been previously recorded in Korea. We have described these two fungal strains, Phyllosticta ericarum 19E458 and Phyllosticta philoprina 19E012 in this study.
