소수의 개념적 측면에 대한 학생들의 이해 부족 현상이 목격되는바 본 연구는 학생들이 소수 개념의 본질을 바르게 이해하도록 돕고자, 소수 개념 발전 역사를 조망하고 교과서의 개념 도입 방법을 분석하였다. 고대 그리스에서 소수는 곱셈 원자였다. 당시 단위는 수가 아니었지만, 소수 표기 개발로 단위가 수로 통합되면서 1의 소수성이 문제시 되었다. 소인수분해의 유일성을 근거로 1이 소수에서 배제되었으며, 이후 발전을 거듭하여 prime 개념과 irreducible 개념이 자리 잡게 되었다. 소수 개념 발전의 역사는 소수가 곧 곱셈 원자라는 사실이 개념의 본질임을 명백히 드러낸다. 교과서 분석 결과, 교과서는 소수 개념을 결정론적 시각 혹은 게임으로 도입하여 개념 본질을 드러내지 못하는 문제, 개념 도입 후 분석적 개념 정의로 급진적 전개가 이루어지는 문제 등이 있었다. 분석 결과에 기초하여 소수의 개념적 면에 주목하도록 돕는 것과 관련하여 몇 가지 교수학적 시사점을 제공하였다.

The goals of nursing education, and the bases for evaluating them depend on the goals of nursing practice. In order to prepare for the coming twenty first century and the meet changing societal demands and health needs, it is necessary to develop a new conceptual framework for future nursing education. While hospitals will still be in significant components of the health care system, will no longer be central focus or dominant influence. Health care services will be more usually delivered at community base. The nursing education required by that new approach must provide for reconsidered about a concept of caring as nursing curriculum. The changes in health care delivery that have occured, now being proposed, for nursing education undergoing its own changes. So the philosophy and objectives of education meed to reconsidering about the caring concept and general nursing. Nurse educators must prepare students to practic in condition of constant change. At the same time nurse educators must emphasize preparation about that. The practice of science of caring in nursing draws on a basic knowledge of the behavioral knowledge, biophysical processes, pathological processes, nursing skills and procedures and various treatment regimes and problem solving to help decision making in nursing situations. The concept of care is probably one of the least understood ideas used by professional and nonprofessional people, yet it is probably one of the most improtant concepts to be understood by nursing. Human caring and human relationships are closely interrelated. Humn caring remains an essential dimension of professional work and the science of caring as essental to the discipline of nursing. It is expected that the objectives of nursing education will be accomplished when the course and content of the curriculum are based on this conceptual framework. One recurrent education goal with some consistency is that of equipping the student with the necessary skills to live effectively and productivly in the world of tomorrow. In the new vision we are developing, professional education must also include exposure to liberal arts, encouragement of critical thinking, and a moral context for advanced professional education that is based upon a contextual health policy and caring science educational model.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the clear concept of organizational commitment for effective nursing personnel management. Method: This study was conducted using Walker & Avant's conceptual analysis framework(2005). Results: Organizational commitment was identified with six attributes: acknowledgment, acceptance, trust, sacrifice, attachment, regulation. Antecedents of organizational commitment were personal characteristics, perceived organizational support, empowerment, fair compensation, job satisfaction, job autonomy, organizational culture, and leadership. Consequences of organizational commitment were turnover intention, job performance and organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusion: Organization commitment is a core concept for understanding the management of nursing personnel. Appropriate instruments to operationalize the concept of organizational commitment including six attributes need to be developed.

The purposes of this study are how to consider the concept of magnetization by fifth elementary school students and how to change conceptions of students after the experiment with developed experiment sets. Personal interviews to the students were used for this study. to probe the conceptions of them, it allowed them to make gestures and to draw pictures through interview. From the analyses of the interview data, following results were found. Students have mostly understood the concept of magnetization, but have not remembered the term itself. And, the students believe that iron is magnetized only if iron was directly contacted a magnet. After the experiment, the students understand that iron could be also magnetized without direct contact to a magnet. And also, they could explain magnetization of iron powder around a magnet by applying the concept of magnetization. This new experiment is a good tool to understand concepts of magnetism.

Health is an important concept within the health component of nursing paradigm. And health concept is a core component to determine health behavior according to individual's health perception. Health habits during the period of university student will be affecting health behavior of the adult period. The purpose of this study was to analyze health concept of the university students in Korea and to provide the strategy of health care for the university students. The method of this research was a descriptive study using a self-report questionaire. The subjects were 301 students of university and their age was from 19 to 30. The results of this study were as follows: 1. Health concepts perceived by the university students were 'wholeness without difficulty', 'vitality', 'harmony', 'comfort', 'Good condition and fitness of physical and psychological condition', 'soundness', 'happiness', 'enabling' 'smoothness'. 2. Health was perceived by the subjects as an essential and an important component of life.

We define and study a concept of $H^f-space$ for a map, which is a generalized concept of an H-space, in terms of the Gottlieb set for a map. For a principal fibration $E_{\kappa}{\rightarrow}X$ induced by ${\kappa}:X{\rightarrow}X'\;from\;{\epsilon}:\;PX'{\rightarrow}X'$, we can obtain a sufficient condition to having an $H^{\bar{f}}-structure\;on\;E_{\kappa}$, which is a generalization of Stasheff's result [17]. Also, we define and study a concept of $co-H^g-space$ for a map, which is a dual concept of $H^f-space$ for a map. Also, we get a dual result which is a generalization of Hilton, Mislin and Roitberg's result [6].

The context and intuitive understanding is very important in Statistics Education. Especially, there is a need to mitigate student's difficulty in studying probability density function. One of teaching method this concept is to using relative frequency histogram. But, as using this method, we should know several problems included in that. This study investigate problems in the method for teaching probability density function as gradual meaning of histogram. Also, as alternative approach, this thesis introduce the density curve concept. The application of four methods to teach the concept of the probability density function and analysis of the survey result is done in this research.

The purpose of this study was to suggest that the history of science be introduced to students in the secondary school to help understand the developmental process of the scientific concepts, especially the concept 'heat'. Reviewing the national and international researches related to students' concept 'heat' revealed that many students tend to grasp the wrong concept of heat based on the caloric theory. Studies on definitions and explanations of the concept 'heat' and related concepts in secondary school science textbooks indicated that the way 'heat' was described could not help students to correct their misconceptions. In conclusion we need to include the historical and developmental process of scientific concepts such as heat in textbooks.

This study aims to figure out the levels of self-concept, to reveal the aspects of clothing selection behavior, and to clarify the relation of self-concept to clothing selection behavior in high school girls. Questionnaire was used to collect data. The subjects were made up of 298 second-grade high school girls from four parts in Taegu. The findings of this study are as follows : 1. The level of physical self, personal self, family self, and social self of high school girls are shown as above average. 2. In general trend of their clothing selection behavior, the scores related to practicality, economy, exhibitionism except fashionability are shown as high. 3. It seems that high school girls have a tendency to firstly weigh exhibitionism, and then economy, practicality, fashionability are followed one after another. 4. Physical self is shown as significantly different in fashionability, exhibitionism among clothing selection behavior.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is a) to develop a self-awareness program using various action methods and b) to experiment the effects of that on self-concept, the self-perception and the self-esteem in nursing students. Method: The subjects of this study were 37 nursing students. Using one-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental research design, we conducted the experiments of a self-awareness program during the period of six weeks from March through May of 2004. Results: The scores of the posttest on self-concept, self-perception and self-esteem in nursing students were significantly higher than those scores of the pro-test. Conclusion: The results of our experimentation showed that a self-awareness program using various action methods was very effective to enhance self-concept, self-perception and self-esteem in nursing students. In particular, different action methods of psychodrama were shown to be a useful tool in exploring the areas of blind self and unknown self.
