This paper analyzes the current state of operation and the effect of introduction of the single accreditation system, which was fully introduced in 2016 by the Accreditation Board of Engineering Education Korea(ABEEK). Because Engineering Education Accreditation are program-based certification, and department operates accreditation programs and non-accreditation programs, if a student under the accreditation program fails to graduate from the accreditation program, he or she must complete the transfer to a non-accreditation program at least one year before graduation. Since 2016, when the single accreditation system was introduced, freshmen of department have allowed non-accreditation graduation only for reasons prescribed separately by the program's regulations or guidelines. In order to identify and reflect the operational status and effectiveness of the single accreditation system in the 2020 accreditation review, ABEEK conducted a complete survey on the current status of graduates in February 2020 among 157 programs at 26 universities receiving the 2020 accreditation review. The results of this study are expected to be used as basic data for the improvement of the single accreditation system in the future by examining the effects of the single accreditation system implemented after 2016 and considering the problems at the site due to the introduction of the single accreditation system of programs that ABEEK had not previously expected.

Purpose: This study was to present the process of web-based educational program (WEP) development and to identify factors affecting satisfaction with WEP for the certificate of healthcare managers working at the National Health Insurance Corporation (NHIC). Methods: Subjects were healthcare managers and voluntary participants of WEP. A total of 1,449 respondents were surveyed through an online questionnaire about their satisfaction with the educational contents and system. Results: The mean contents satisfaction was 3.75 (SO 0.54), and system satisfaction 4.68 (SD 0.54). According to statistical analysis, the type of certification, experience and professional career of health care management affected contents satisfaction. And factors affecting system satisfaction were the type of certification and gender. Conclusion: WEP was utilized as a pre-requisite course for the certificate program of healthcare managers. However, the development of advanced WEP is suggested to meet the educational needs of healthcare managers who have certificate or license and their job related to healthcare management.

Traditionally, in the education for the trainees of marine officier, the emphasis is laid on the practical training on board to prepare them for the future position on board and to fit them for the shipboard life. Though the education has been carried out in various ways according to each country's social tradition, culture and educational system, in these days it is done normally by the combined way of school education and training on board to get the competence for the marine officer. Thus the shipboard training course is compulsively required to the candidates for certification as merchant marine officers by the IMO STCW convention 1978 and also it is believed that the education for the dacet officers is to be completed through the shipboard training. In spite of the various earlier studies to improve the training education system, there are few studies for the matters and problems form the standing point of cadet.

Although the state of medicine in North Korea is of great interest, there is little information, if any, about the present state of medicine in North Korea. Even North Korea's laws and regulations on medicine are not publicly available. It is plausible that the dictator's commands or the policy of the Communist Party may be superior to the nation's constitution and laws on medical education and much more. Information is only available from a limited number of publications and mainly from the statements of refugees, which differ greatly among themselves. No one refugee could provide authoritative data or information because they were never in the position to see the larger picture or have experience over the long term. However, what is known is that the major health professions in North Korea include physicians (medical doctors), stomatologists (oral doctors), 'Koryo' doctors (doctors of Korean traditional medicine), midwives, and nurses. The names and the founding year of each of the regular medical schools are listed along with the change and restoration of names of schools. It is known that there have been quasi-physicians and semi-physicians. However, the reasons for any changes that have taken place also remain unknown. The educational system, curriculum, and even the number of years of training needed to qualify to become a physician have varied from time to time.

The maritime education and training is executed in Asian countries according to The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch keeping for Seafarers(STCW). However, mainly basic training and education takes in maritime universities, because this convention is minimum requirements to become junior mariner. So, until now researches have not developed to the stage of discussing how maritime universities of advanced shipping countries should pursue the direction of education in the new eras. Korea and Japan as the leading shipping countries in Asia, need to take initiatives in building a new education system in order to foster the next generation maritime expert. To enhance the professional abilities of maritime technologists in the new era, element design of science and technology relating to maritime issues and a new education system based on an amalgamation of maritime education and scientific and technological education were discussed.

This study conducted to investigate the core competency of dental hygiene based on learning outcomes for establishing an educational evaluation and certification system for dental hygiene. The sub-categories of core competencies, the overall score of professional behavior and ethical decision-making ability (category 1) and the ability to apply scientific and professional clinical hygiene and knowledge and skills of clinical dental work (category 2) was highest. and the level of communication skills (category 3) was 4.48 points, and the level of evidence-based integrated thinking and problem solving skills (category 5) was 4.35 points. Furthermore, there was a strong correlation between the core competency sub-categories, and it is necessary to identify the core competency between health care service occupations and to qualitatively study the core competency of dental hygienists working in clinical practice.

The aim of this study was to suggest an improvement plan for the post-certification family friendly consulting service based on consulting reports from 2015-2016 and focus group interviews analysis. Focus group interviews were conducted with consultants with the Family Friendly Support Center and managers with family friendly certification companies. The results of this study were as follows. First, objective outcome indicators for the measurement of consulting performance should be created. Second, a checklist managers can use to choose the consulting type based on self-assessments should be developed. Third, a follow-up consulting system should be in place to complement the ABC module. Fourth, a consulting case database should be built to facilitate customized consulting by industry and size.

Internal and external standardization working is accelerated and recently XML security studies are activated using XML which is next generation web standard document format. In this paper, we propose multi-Certification of agent system using XML digital signature to satisfy security requirement.

This article describes the status of science teacher education in Taiwan. The pre-service and in-service science teacher training system, institutes, curricula, programs, and evaluation on the institutes were briefly introduced. The differences before and after the 1996 reform of science teacher training system were compared. Finally, the attempts and efforts that have been done through the channels of research to promote science teachers' professional development were addressed. These efforts include the Case studies of exemplary science teachers' teaching performances, the development of licensure instruments for the certification of science teachers, the use of computers and distance education for supervising student teachers, the exploration of promoting science teachers' understanding about the nature of science, the exploration of promoting science teachers' pedagogical content knowledge, the exploration of promoting science teachers' ability of increasing effective student-teacher and student-student interactions, and the exploration of effective teaching strategies.

The purpose of this study is to understand the realities and the subject of environmental management for small and medium-sized companies in Gwangwon area, through surveying the present status as to acquiring the certification of ISO14001, and to seek for a plan to facilitate environmental management. Given summarizing key results, those are as follows. First, while the number of companies in our country which acquired the certification of ISO14001, amounts to 1,215 businesses as of April of 2003, the number of small and medium-sized companies in Gwangwon area which obtained the certification of ISO14001 reached only 26 businesses, the lowest level among metropolitan municipalities. Second, for the reason that companies who didn't acquire the certification, strive not to receive the certification, it did present the point that' costs to be needed in acquiring and maintaining the certification are larger than practical benefit. Third, the biggest reason for either companies which did not acquire the certification of ISO14001 or companies which did (try to) acquire the certification of ISO1400, was, enhancement of a corporate image,' and the effect after a company who obtained the certification introduced the environmental management system, was also shown to be 'the improvement of a corporate image.' Fourth, many companies who acquired the certification of ISO1400 pointed out the response related to 'burden on document creation and costs' and 'lack of manpower' as problems when introducing the environmental management system. On the basis of major results of a study as the above, given presenting the subject and a plan for activating the environmental management of small and medium-sized companies in Gwangwon area, those are as follows. First, because most of companies who did not obtain the certification of ISO1400 have low recognition of ISO14001, it needs continuous and positive publicity, education and a training system. Second, it requires to carry out an educational program to nurture professional manpower due to lack of manpower relevant to environmental management, to expand payment of subsidies, to open exclusive-charge department and consulting contact, to have the relevant information be database and to develop software. Third, in order to make the certification obtained through inexpensive costs and simple procedures, it needs to positively consider the creation of public approval system for a small and medium-sized company, group approval system, industrial-complex approval system, and others.
