Development of Digital Textbook for Middle School Career and Vocational Education of Basic Curriculum (기본교육과정 중학교 진로와 직업 교과 디지털 교재 개발)

  • In this study, a digital textbook was developed for effective career and vocational education of students with disabilities. The contents of developed digital textbook consisted of 'lesson 15: Sale(1)' of middle school career and vocational education of basic curriculum. It progresses six periods and each topic activities are composed of open learning, learning activity 1, learning activity 2, and organized learning in order. NamoPubTreeEditor Program was used to develop the text book in the study, digital textbooks were designed to be compatible with various devices including smartphone of android operating system, Tablet PC, the iOS system, iphone, ipad, etc. In addition, it was designed to offer a variety of learning materials such as sale multimedia materials, glossary, evaluation questions, and linked data related to sale, supported self-motivated learning. allowed students to evaluate their study for the learning of students with disabilities.

  • 지난해부터 인터넷 분야에서 가장 확실한 수익 모델을 갖춘 사업 분야로 e-Learning 분야가 손꼽히면서 많은 온라인 교육 서비스가 우후죽순처럼 등장해 이미 1,000여 개의 서비스가 각축을 벌이고 있다. 그러나 e-Learning은 무엇보다도 학습용 컨텐츠의 품질이 그 성패를 좌우한다 할 때 한국의 온라인 학습 컨텐츠의 품질은 부실하기 이를 데 없다는 게 중론이다. 이는 S/W 공학에서 S/W 품질 보장을 위해 개발 방법론이 중요한 것으로 인식되는 것과 이를 지원하기 위한 Method II등 여러 도구들이 보급되고 있는데 비해 학습 컨텐츠는 그 중요도와 개발이 복잡하고 정교함이 요구됨에도 불구하고 개발 방법론에 대한 인식과 개발방법론을 지원하기 위한 도구가 없음에 기인하는바 크다 할 수 있겠다. 아직까지 국내에서는 MacroMedia Director나 ToolBook, Authorware등 일반적인 저작 도구나 웹 기반의 컨텐츠를 제작하는 Dreamweaver등의 HTML Editor만 있으면 컨텐츠가 만들어 질 수 있는 것으로 착각하고 있는 경우가 많다. 교육 학습용 컨텐츠의 개발 주기를 살펴보면 요구 분석->교수 설계->저작->평가->배포의 단계를 거치게 되는데 이때 학습 컨텐츠의 품질은 사실 요구 분석과 교수 설계 단계에서 결정되게 되며 이 학습 컨텐츠의 품질을 결정하는 단계에서는 IT 분야 지식보다는 오히려 교육 공학적 지식이 더욱 요구된다. 그러나 현실적으로 이 단계의 절차적 복잡성과 전문성으로 인해 거의 대부분의 학습 컨텐츠들이 제대로 개발 주기를 거치지 못하고 검증되지 않은 스토리 보드에 의한 저작 단계로 바로 돌입하고 있는 것이 한국의 실정이라 하겠다. 따라서 본 프로젝트에 의해 개발 된 교수 설계 도구는 교육/학습 컨텐츠의 품질 보증을 위한 방법론인 교육 공학의 체제적 교수 설계 이론 Model (Instructional System Design Model), 특히 그 중에서도 이 분야의 사실상의 표준 이론(de facto standard)인 Dick & Carey 교수와 Gagne 교수의 인지주의 ISD Model을 기반으로 정교한 교수 설계와 코스 맵 설계를 가능하게 함으로써 학습 컨텐츠의 품질 보증 활동을 지원 할 수 있는 도구로 개발하였다. 특히 Linux 기반에서 PHP로 개발 함으로써 Platform에 구애받지 않은 사용 환경을 구현 하였으며 향후 많은 e-Learning Platform에 교수 설계 모듈로 장착 함으로써 기존의 e-Learning Platform들의 가치를 높일 수 있는 계기가 될 것으로 생각한다.

Analyzing BIBFRAME Cases for the Development of BIBFRAME Application Plans in Korea (BIBFRAME 구축 사례 분석을 통한 국내 적용방안에 관한 연구)

  • This study is to suggest the concrete application plan of BIBFRAME under the development of BIBFRAME as library specific ontology for linked open data. The several research methods are used as the literature reviews, the case study of LC and LD4P, and the survey of cataloging librarians which is to grasp understanding level of the linked data related terms and requirements for constructing LOD. The application plan is suggested as follows. First, publishing name authority data and subject heading in LOD are prominent as the startup with creating terms list or vocabulary in LOD that has been used in library for controlled vocabulary and data value. Second, it is needed to develop BIBFRAME application and extension modeling in Korea, to map KORMARC and the properties and classes of BIBFRAME, and to develop the editor and MARC to BIBFRAME Transformation Tools. Third, the systematical training for cataloging librarians is designed to regard BIBFRAME related works as the librarian's main field. Therefore, this study would contribute to seek the practical application plan for BIBFRAME in Korea.

Development of Dynamic Simulator for Light Rail Transit Depot (경량전철 차량기지 동적 시뮬레이터 개발)

  • Recently, in the era of low carbon and green growth, the importance of railway transportation is being emphasized However, there is a lack of research on simulation for railway depot. This paper presents the development of the dynamic simulator for LRT(Light Rail Transit) depot. This study presents explanations of requirement analysis, architecture, database design, simulation algorithm, and design and development of the simulation tool. The dynamic LRT depot simulation tool consists of four modules; a Network Editor to create and modify information regarding railroad, train, signal, turnout, job and station, a Simulator to calculate train movement algorithm, a Reporter to show simulation results in table and graphs, and an Animator to animate simulation results dynamically. It is hoped that this study on general details of structure, design and development of LRT depot dynamic simulator will perform as a good reference to future development of new simulation tools.

  • As major industries become information-centered, business transactions and information-sharing processes are being computerized and automated, which ultimately re-defines electronic commercial transactions in a broader context. Business documents are the basic tools for corporate transactions. The use of business documents in electronic commercial transactions has increased markedly and this sphere is rapidly being extended to include information sharing between companies. XML(extensible Markup Language) was selected as the focus for this thesis. XML ran help to make a complicated and data-rich document easy to share. The thesis proposes a business XML document editing system, comprised of a style document editor for business XML document structure, business documentation, and business document presentation, along with a business document transformation system which makes a transformation possible regardless of platform or using various corporate document standards.

  • The use of RaspberryPi in building an embedded system may be difficult for users in understanding the circuit and the hardware cost. This paper proposes a solution that can test the systems virtually. The solution consists of three elements; (i) editor, (ii) interpreter and (iii) simulator and provides nine full modules and also allows the users to configure/run/test their own circuits like real environment. The task of abstraction for modules through the actual circuit test was carried out on the basis of the data sheet and the specification provided by the manufacturer. If we can improve the level of quality of our solution, it can be useful in terms of cost reduction and easy learning. To achieve this end, the electrical physics engine, the level of interpreter that can be ported to the actual board, and a generalization of the simulation logic are required.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop FVU, which enables teachers effectively to construct self-page on the screen, to reduce the size of file for teaching, and to correct many different kinds of event which was already made in the previous. The instrument used in the development of this Editor is UML(Unified Modeling Language), which is object-oriented methodology. The Authoring tool developed in this study is named FVU. The first page which is needed in class can be constructed by using VUEditor in FVU. Using VUEditor can get Instructional Syllabus exported into VUAuthor through Vector-transformation. Through this procedure, the size of image file comes to be reduced into forming low band width, which results in solving the problem of network traffic. Also, Instructor can create image, shape and text, and delete and correct errors or mistakes which make in the course of constructing materials for teaching. In conclusion, this VUEditor enables program designer to construct the first page, even without using such applied program as Image Tool and Power Point. This VUEditor makes instructor to make some contents for teaching easily.

  • Existing tools using in the standard e-learning contents authoring were used a method to provide users contents template produced in advance. In order to use resources of the template in a common web-based authoring tool, there is problem to overcome. If the resource of template is inserted within the contents on the authoring tool, the deformation of the template by the user's input that may occur during the edit process cannot be controlled. In this paper, we propose an effective maintenance method to prevent deformation of the resource of template inserted into any WYSIWYG-based HTML authoring tool by user's discretion. We added a template plug-in that can create the IMS-QTI standard resource in tynyMCE the web-based open source editor of representative examples. And the plug-in for tinyMCE was realized as a module of directly respond to the action of limited user input. So, in response to the action of user's input, the structure of the template can be sustained possibly.

  • The document transformation system is more widely used in order to transform business documents efficiently in diverse organization. In established researches on document transformation systems have been carried mainly focused on XML however, it is not only transformed XML form but also EDI or local form in realistic import and export process. Particularly, in the most completed research relate on document transformation, they used ontology to get rid of non-efficiency in the connection of XML schema by manual. Hence, those researches are lack of features, which are construct and modify the domain ontology automatically and the size wasn't enough to realize itself. In this paper we study development of ontology and basic system, which is critical in intelligent document conversion system. And we develop an ontology with editor can be modified and complemented by users, as well as we make it used in real import and export business process.

  • This paper discusses the development of an interactive and graphic software for the education and training of power system operation and control, especially for students and beginners. This software has a lot of functions for users to simulate the power system operation and control with ease. These functions included in this software are followings. First, this software includes a Graphic User Interface (GUI) - which contains interactive simulation scheme, Windows dialog box, graphic representations, and graphic icons - so that users can handle the software in user-friendly environments. Second, it uses a graphic editor so that users can easily edit the one-line diagram of the power system. Third, it prepares a database system so that users can manage the power system data for simulation easily. Fourth, the application modules included in the software are the Economic Dispatch (ED) and the Automatic Load-Frequency Control (ALFC). These application modules are designed as independent modules. Using the ED module, users can understand the basic concepts of the ED with ease. And using the ALFC module, they can easily acquire the basic understanding of the response of the ALFC between the two-area systems. The proposed software is tested on both the 16 bus and the two-area sample system. The test has confirmed the functions of the developed software. It is anticipated that the software will be useful for the education and training of power system operation and control for the power engineering study at university or for the training of the beginner at power industry.
