  • 본 연구에서는 공급측면 산업연관분석모형을 사용하여 물공급지장이 끼치는 산업의 전방효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 여기서 분석된 공급지장비용은 수도사업의 신뢰도 결정에 사용될수 있으며 물의 공급부족이 발생할 경우 물의 효율적 배분을 위한 정책적 기초를 제공할 수 있다. 따라서 산업연관분석을 이용하여 수도부문이 차지하는 국민경제적 위치를 확인하고 공급지장으로 인한 산업간 직·간접 피해를 분석하였다. 또한 가뭄시 중요한 공급우선 순위 결정을 위한 공급지장지수를 제안하였다. 한편 가뭄의 발생은 지역적인 특성을 가지고 있어서 전국산업연관표를 이용한 지역수준의 공급지장비용이 과대 도는 과소평가될 여지가 있다. 따라서 경남지역산업연관표를 통해 산정한 공급지장비용을 전국산업관표와 비교·분석하였다.

Application of Total Quality Management in Developing Quality Assessment Model: The Case of Vietnamese Higher Education

  • The shift from elite education to mass education in Vietnam has met the demand for education for everybody as well as for quality human resource talent for an emerging nation. Under the resource constraint, understanding the quality dimensions of education and its priority level is important for effective and efficient policies. This study was carried out using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to develop quality criteria and a ranking model. Two rounds of in-depth interviews were conducted with fifteen experts in the field, who were rectors, employers, and recruitment specialists to develop the quality framework applied in Vietnamese universities under total quality management (TQM), starting from the input of the senior secondary school leavers, through a teaching process to the output. The first round of interviews were unstructured questionnaires designed to explore the main factors in quality assessment model. The second round affirmed the experts' agreement on the assessment model. Then, fuzzy logic was applied to rank eight criteria in the quality assessment model into priority order: cost, teaching and administrative staff, leadership, curriculum, student-related factors, internationalization, admissions, and campus. The results are critical for identifying the necessary actions to enhance the education quality and to further research on the optimal quality model.

  • 분산전원이 도입된 스마트 그리드는 기존 전력망의 문제들뿐만 아니라, 새로운 전기적 현상에 기인한 보호 협조 문제 등 다수의 문제들을 새롭게 제기한다. EMTP 기반의 해석 방법은 계통구성의 유연성과 편리성을 가지지만 설계 및 해석결과의 불확실성 때문에 실험적 검증이 요구된다. 반면에 실증 시스템은 상당한 경제적, 공간적 건설비용 요구, 계통구성 제약 때문에 대규모 계통에 대한 정확한 고장 관측이 어렵고 스마트 그리드의 분산, 자율적, 적응제어 전략의 실증도 쉽지 않다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 최소의 경제적, 공간적 비용하에서 22.9kV 스마트 그리드의 외란에 대한 전기적인 현상들과 분산, 자율적 적응제어 전략을 안전하고 자유롭게 실험, 관측할 수 있는 MEMS의 소형화 기술을 이용한 마이크로 스마트 그리드 시뮬레이터 설계를 위한 기초이론을 연구한다.

이중 버블시트를 이용한 단열양생공법의 한중시공 적용 사례 (Application of Insulation Curing Method with Double Bubble Sheets Subjected to Cold Weather)

  • 본 연구는 한중환경에서 이중 버블시트를 이용한 단열보온 양생 공법을 슬래브 및 매스 콘크리트에 활용한 결과를 검토한 것이다. 먼저, 이중 버블시트를 적용한 경우 타설 후 2일까지 외기온이 영하$9^{\circ}C$까지 강하하는 경우에도 슬래브콘크리트는 영상 $6^{\circ}C$에서 $10^{\circ}C$이상을 유지하여 초기동해가 방지됨을 알 수 있었고, 매스콘크리트의 경우에는 중심부 최고온도와 표층부 최고온도차이가 $6^{\circ}C$이하로 나타나 내부구속에 의한 수화열 균열은 발생하지 않은 것으로 판단된다. 본 현장에 적용된 이중버블시트를 이용한 단열보온양생 공법은 동절기 영하에서도 안정된 양생온도 관리로 초기동해를 방지할 수 있었고, 소요강도를 확보할 수 있었다. 또한, 가시설의 설치 해체 공정을 줄여 공기단축 효과와 인건비절감등 양생비용의 감소로써 한중콘크리트의 품질확보에 우수한 효과가 있음과 동시에 단열 양생공법의 경제성이 입증되었다.

둘째 자녀 출산 희망에 대한 배우자간 차이와 이에 따른 집단간 특성 분석 (The Characteristics of Couples by Their Desires for a Second Child)

  • This study examines socio-demographic characteristics of married couples and their desire for a second child. Questionnaires were completed by 355 married men and women who have only one child currently. The participants were classified into four groups by their desire, or a lack thereof, for a second child. Group I consisted of married people who wanted to have another child, and whose spouse wanted the same. Members of Group II were in a marriage where only the wife wanted to have another child. Members of Group III were in a marriage where only the husband wanted a second child. Group IV consisted of participants who did not want another child, and whose spouse agreed with thor The research questions were (1) how different those four groups are in terms of socio-demographic characteristics, (2) what are the reasons to stop having children and to have another child, and (3) what are the perceptions of the current low fertility rate in Korea, and the policies designed to increase birth rata The results indicate that wife' age, husband's educational level, expectant level of household economy, age at marriage, marriage duration and the time length between marriage and birth of the first child were significantly different among the four groups. The reasons to stop having children were expected constraint of privacy and time, physical and psychological burden and economic pressure. The most pronounced reason for wanting another child was the desire to give their first child a sibling. Group III had more serious disagreement about having another child than did Group II. There were significant differences among the four groups in the perceptions of possible consequences of the low birth rate. These perceptions included: undermined competitiveness of the nation and weakened family ties.

TOC 기법을 적용한 ERP 표준시간 검증 및 MES 공정실적개선 (Verification of ERP Standard Time Using TOC Technique and Improvement of MES Routing Point)

  • Recently domestic manufacturing companies have been experiencing worsening profitability and stunted growth due to the long-term economic recession and the rapid rise of developing countries such as China and Southeast Asia. These difficulties force many companies to concentrate their core competencies on new value creation and innovation in order to gain momentum for new growth. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) has been considered as one of viable solutions. Among the various modules in ERP, shop floor control function in the production management module is rather limited. In order to overcome this problem, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) has been used as a subsystem which has a strong information gathering power and flexibility. Both systems interact closely with each other. In particular, ERP requires fast, accurate shop floor information at MES. This paper describes how to synchronize relevant information between ERP and MES with theory of constraints (TOC). The processing time information transmitted from the MES workplace is received at the ERP workplace. In the process, the received processing time is causing information distortion in ERP, when the information gathering standard of MES is different from the ERP information interpretation standard. The Drum-Buffer-Rope theory of TOC was applied to resolve this problem, therefore, information synchronization between both systems was made. As a precondition, the standard time of the upper ERP system was rearranged according to the capacity constraints resource. As a result, standard time restructuring has affected changes in labor costs. Standard labor costs have come close to actual ones, and information synchronization of MES transmission data has improved the reliability of standard product costs, such that it enabled various company-wide restructuring actions to be much more effective.

익형과 엔진 종류를 고려한 도로주행형 PAV 초기 사이징 (Initial Sizing of a Roadable PAV Considering Airfoil and Engine Types)

  • 많은 나라들에서 늘어가는 자동차로 인한 교통체증에 대체 할 수 있는 새로운 교통수단에 대한요구가 증가하고 있다. 또한, 경제적인 성장으로 인한 자동차 보유 대수의 증가로 앞으로 교통체증은 더욱 증가할 것이다. 이를 위해 도로주행형 개인용 항공기(PAV; personal air vehicle)에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 도로주행형 PAV의 사이징에서 엔진과 익형의 종류에 따른 주요 설계 변수인 익면하중과 동력대중량비를 구하기 위한 사이징을 수행하였다. 즉, 사이징 과정에서 국내 환경과 일반 항공기급 인증기준인 FAR PART 23을 고려한 임무형상에 대하여 익면하중, 동력대중량비, 제동마력, 그리고 연료효율의 그래프를 통해서 설계점을 결정하는 연구도 수행하였다. 사이징 결과 디젤 엔진을 사용하는 경우 가솔린 엔진보다 더 큰 중량으로 인해 더 큰 이륙총중량, 날개 면적, 그리고 더 큰 동력을 요구한다.

Comparative Profitability of Women Dominated Fish-based Livelihood Activities in Southwest, Nigeria

  • Women are more disadvantaged than men in many fronts and this confines them to informal sector livelihood activities. Any attempt to improve women's economic status will require information on the organization, cost and returns to investment in the livelihood activities in which they predominate. This is the issue for this study which compared yield performance in artisanal fishing and fresh fish marketing. Primary data collected through multi-stage sampling method were analyzed using inferential statistics, budgeting and regression models. Empirical findings revealed that about 75.0% of fisher folks either had no formal education or acquired only primary school education while 50.0% of marketers had secondary school education. The budgeting model revealed fisher-folks' and marketers' annual net profit to be N2,882,626.00 and N640,227.00, respectively. Profit from fishing was significantly higher than that of fish marketing. At 53.2% for fishing and 40.3% for marketing, returns to investment was better in fishing. Regression model results showed the significant factors influencing returns to each livelihood strategy to include fishing ground, distance covered and years of experience. The major constraint faced by operators of both livelihoods groups was insufficient credit. Despite this, the livelihood strategies were shown to be profitable ventures which contributed to households' consumption expenditure. Organizing women informal sector operators into groups to enhance access to government support and formal credit are recommended for improving livelihood strategy performance.

농업용 저수지의 다목적 이용을 위한 용수의 적정배분 (Optimized Allocation of Water for the Multi-Purpose Use in Agricultural Reservoirs)

  • The purpose of this paper is to examine some difficulties in water management of agricultural reservoirs in Korea, for there are approximately more than 15,000 reservoirs which are now being utilized for the purpose of irrigation, along with the much amount of expenses and labors to be invested against droughts and floods periodically occurred. Recently, the effective use of water resources in the agricultural reservoirs with a single purpose, is becomming multiple according to the alterable environment of water use. Therefore, the task to allocate agricultural water rationally and economically must be solved for the multiple use of agricultural reservoirs. On the basis of the above statement, this study aims at suggesting the rational method of water management by introducing an optimal technique to allocate the water in an existing agricultural reservoir rationally, for the sake of maximizing the economic effect. To achieve this objective, a reservoir, called "0-Bongje" as a sample of the case study, is selected for an agricultural water development proiect of medium scale. As a model for the optimum allocation of water in the multi-purpose use of reservoirs a linear programming model is developed and analyzed. As a result, findings of the study are as follows : First, a linear programing model is developed for the optimum allocation of water in the multi-purpose use of agricultural reservoirs. By adopting the model in the case of reservoir called "O-Bongje," the optimum solution for such various objects as irrigation area, the amount of domestic water supply, the size of power generation, and the size of reservoir storage, etc., can be obtained. Second, by comparing the net benefits in each object under the changing condition of inflow into the reservoir, the factors which can most affect the yearly total net benefit can be drawn, and they are in the order of the amount of domestic water supply, irrigation area, and power generation. Third, the sensitivity analysis for the decision variable of irrigation which may have a first priority among the objects indicate that the effective method of water management can be rapidly suggested in accordance with a condition under the decreasing area of irrigation. Fourth, in the case of decision making on the water allocation policy in an existing multi-purpose reservoir, the rapid comparison of numerous alternatives can be possible by adopting the linear programming model. Besides, as the resources can be analyed in connection with various activities, it can be concluded that the linear programing model developed in this study is more quantitative than the traditional methods of analysis. Fifth, all the possible constraint equations, in using a linear programming model for adopting a water allocation problem in the agricultural reservoirs, are presented, and the method of analysis is also suggested in this study. Finally, as the linear programming model in this study is found comprehensive, the model can be adopted in any different kind of conditions of agricultural reservoirs for the purpose of analyzing optimum water allocation, if the economic and technical coefficients are known, and the decision variable is changed in accordance with the changing condition of irrigation area.

국내 컨테이너 부두시설 확보제도 개선방향 연구 (A study on the estimation of container terminal capacity and its implication to port development planning of Korea)

  • 본고에서는 컨테이너 선석 당 적정처리능력 40만 TEU로 설정하고 컨테이너항만을 40만 TEU에 맞는 선석 개수로 개발하는 현재의 우리나라 항만기본계획의 문제점을 분석하였다. 선사가 요구하는 고 생산성의 터미널을 건설하여 선사의 물동량을 유치하고, 이를 통해 그 항만 배후지에서 고 부가가치 생산활동을 가능케 하려면, 40만 TEU 표준하역능력 같은 항만개발 제약요인을 두어서는 초대형선 부두 이용자의 요구를 충족시키기 어려울 것으로 판단된다. 10,000 TEU 이상 초대형 컨테이너선 기항 시 선사가 요구하는 서비스 수준은 항만대기시간과 항만 내 체류시간으로 나누어 설문조사를 실시한 결과 초대형 컨테이너선에 대해서 대기가 발생하지 않는 수준의 서비스를 제공해야 함을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 10,000 TEU급 이상 초대형 컨테이너선 기항시 선사가 요구하는 총 재항시간은 대부분24시간 이었다. 이를 바탕으로 12,000 TEU 급 초대형선이 24시간 이내에 서비스를 완료할 수 있는 항만의 하역능력을 산정해본 결과 초대형선 선석 400미터 2선석, 피더선 250미터 2선석의 1,400m 컨테이너 터미널의 연간 요구 처리능력은 약 300만 TEU가 되었다. 이를 실현할 수 있도록 하는 시뮬레이션 분석을 한 결과 주 선석 2개(900미터)와 피더선석 2개(500미터)의 1400미터 선석에서 300만 TEU를 처리해도 선석점유율, 선박대기시간이나, 서비스 면에서 기존의 항만보다 오히려 우수한 결과를 보이고 있다. 이를 장비가격으로만 비교할 때 기존터미널에 비해 700억원 정도(28%)를 더 투자하면 연간 처리능력이 160만 TEU에서 300만 TEU로 88%이상 증가할 수 있음을 보여준다. 따라서 전국항만 기본계획에서는 기존의 선석 수 개발방향에서, 항별로 미래 일정기간 동안 건설 필요 처리능력 한도를 실제 건설되는 처리능력의 누계를 관리해 나가는 정책으로 전환해야 할 것이다.
