  • Atom-economical esterification is of great importance in green chemistry. In this work, we demonstrated the catalyst and additive free esterification of alcohols by their reaction with 2-acyl-4,5-dichloropyridazin-3(2H)-ones without solvent at $100^{\circ}C$. Aliphatic and aromatic alcohols were converted into the corresponding esters in good to excellent yields. It is noteworthy that the reaction is solvent-free, atom-economic, easy-workup, and rapid and that the process is inexpensive.

  • A new and efficient synthesis of the novel bioactive bis(benzopyrano) fused dihydropyridines is described. The conventionally developed route is a two step multicomponent condensation reaction. This is latter modified by a one pot microwave (MW) assisted reaction using inorganic solid support via the arylidene derivative intermediate. With this environmentally benign approach, the reaction time is brought down from hours to minutes along with a yield enhancement. Furthermore, the role of different solid supports is studied and it is concluded that the acidic alumina is the best solid support for the present investigation.

  • The ability of cow dung ash without any pretreatment to remove color from textile dyes N Blue RGB, Green B and EOSIN YWS from aqueous solution has been investigated in this work. Cow dung ash, an ecofriendly and low cost adsorbent was prepared by burning cow dung cakes in the muffle furnace at $500^{\circ}C$. The adsorption was achieved under different pH and adsorbate concentration. The data was fitted to simple polynomial and the isotherms similar to Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms.

  • New materials are very useful due to their wide range of applications, however, they also have caused new pollutants that damage our environment. Chemists have been conscious of the severity of these environmental problems and a great deal of effort has been put into developing environmentally benign chemical processes to synthesize new materials (green synthesis). We also have reported a green synthesis method of synthesizing silver nanoparticles using water-glycerol solution in a previous study. While conducting further research, we have recently discovered that the size of silver nanoparticles is proportional to the quantity of water present in glycerol. This method is completely benign and ecofriendly pathway, as the size of silver nanoparticles is adjusted solely by controlling the quantity of water added to glycerol, without extra additives and energy.

  • The management of oyster shell disposal is an ongoing challenge in the southern coast of Korea because of continuously dumping the oyster shell in environment. Oyster shell wastes could be a biocidal alternative after calcination using a heat treatment. Calcined oyster shell is normally obtained through thermally conversion of $CaCO_3$ (main component in oyster shell (96%)) into CaO. This study provides a brief overview of oyster shell disposal and its potential as an antimicrobial agent with a focus on calcination process, antimicrobial mechanisms, and packaging applications.

  • In this thesis, we examine the development status of autonomous mobility services using various artificial intelligence algorithms and propose a solution by combining edge and cloud computing to overcome technical difficulties. A fully autonomous vehicle with enhanced safety and ethics can be implemented using the proposed solution. In addition, for the future of 2035, we present a new concept that enables two- and three-dimensional movement via cooperation between ecofriendly, low-noise, and modular fully autonomous vehicles. The zero-error autonomous driving system will safely and conveniently transport people, goods, and services without time and space constraints and contribute to the autonomous mobility services that are free from movement in connection with various mobility.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the national image on the intention to repurchase Korean cosmetics products from the perspective of consumers. This study investigated the effect of the Korean national image on the repurchase intention through the perceived quality and eco-friendly product image for Mongolian consumers. This study conducted a survey of Mongolian consumers, and the survey was conducted online with a total of 110 people. The analysis method was verified using the SPSS 18 program. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the national image had a positive and significant effect on Mongolian consumers' intention to repurchase Korean cosmetics. In addition, it was found that perceived quality or ecofriendly product images play a mediating role in the relationship between the national image and the intention to repurchase cosmetics.

  • The antibacterial activity of metallic nanoparticles (NPs), especially silver (Ag), has been investigated during the course of time in various chemical reactions for antibiotics free agents. Green synthesis of metallic NPs using either microorganisms or plant-extracts has appeared as a simple and replacement to chemical and physical methods. The synthesizing of these NPs through ecofriendly methods signifies an exceedingly applicable approach for offering economical, preferring scalability and possessing negligible ecological influences. Essential-oils are among the subordinate metabolites of plants and their antibacterial anti-inflammatory characteristics have been investigated widely and are commonly attained from the aromatic plants. The usage of essential-oils as reducing agents in biosynthesizing of Ag NPs bring together the interaction of a vital antibacterial agent that simplify the nucleation and growth process within the NPs formation. This review article is offering a progressive process of Ag NPs synthesis using essential oils along with proposing the most applicable formation mechanisms and their antibacterial activities.

  • The objective of this study is to find the effects of consumer values on eco-friendly buying behavior. This study examines environmental attitudes and involvement as moderating variables to explain eco-friendly buying behavior of consumers. Hypotheses were developed based on Focus Group Interviews, Depth Interviews, and literature reviews. To test such hypotheses, questionnaires were distributed and collected among female adults aged 18 or above, and who are either office workers or housewives. The analysis results show that personal values, sociocultural values, and values related to ecofriendly products affect consumers in their eco-friendly buying behavior. Among those values, concern about safety and health, eco-friendly culture and trend, willingness to pay price premiums and functional effects of eco-friendly products have significant effects on eco-friendly buying behavior. Reflecting these results, business marketers must appeal to consumers with more focus on safety and health, perceived consumer effectiveness, self-monitoring, eco-friendly culture and trend, media exposure, willingness to pay price premiums, design excellence and functional effects, to implement marketing communication strategies accordingly.
