The Method of New Robust Inverse Filter Design in 2-Ch Audio System (2채널 오디오 시스템에서 전달계 변동에 강인한 역필터 설계 기법)

  • The crosstalk is the most serious problem in playing audio signals with more than two speakers. Usually an inverse filter is employed to remove such a Phenomenon. The LNS method, one of most effective design techniques for an inverse filter, has some advantages such as easy implementation and quick computation. However, the inverse filter designed by the LNS method is not easy to adapt immediately for the delivery system change since the pre-measured impulse response is used to design the filter. In this work, we present an adaptive algorithm for the inverse filter design. With the present algorithm. the inverse filter is initially designed by the LNS methods and continuously adjusted to cope with the delivery system changes. To verify the proposed method. some simulations were carried out and the results confirmed that the performance of the crosstalk calculation can be improved in entire frequency range.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose an efficient user experience of integrated applications by comparing and analyzing the usability of existing cultural content applications in Seoul. The study method was based on seven components of the honeycom model to conduct an interview and analyze for user experience measurements of existing applications. The results of the study summarized them in three ways. First, we need to organize a wide variety of information into categories in an easy-to-understand way. Second, making it easy to purchase tickets within the application. Finally, it is necessary to recommend cultural content that is suitable for me. This research is expected to be used as a basis for the user experience of the Seoul City Cultural Content Integration application.

  • This study sought to improve the mobile easy payment services available in Korea by conducting a comparison analysis of Kakaopay, the front-runner of the mobile easy payment services in Korea's FinTech industry, compared to Naverpay, the relative newcomer in the industry. The services were compared by analysing users' experience. First, a literature review on the theoretical background of the FinTech and its characteristics was performed. Secondly, a survey created by reframing the six elements of the "Creating Pleasurable interfaces Model" by Stephen Anderson was conducted. In result, Kakaopay showed limited applicability caused by the lack of affiliated stores and it also showed the lack of reliability due to errors and cancellations related to the payments. It was shown that Naverpay also needs to make an effort to improve the reliability by minimizing errors in the use of the program and payments. This current study aimed to contribute as a resource which can be used, in the future, to improve the users' experience in FinTech services offered in Korea and also to invigorate the Fintech industry.

  • It is very important to minimize the maintenance cost on easy accessibility in the production information system, change of production process line, and system expansion for globalization of logistics and production in the steel and manufacturing. In this paper, we design applying design patterns of object-oriented as well as implement web-based integrated manufacturing management system using JSP for easy accessibility of users and reduction of maintenance cost on business expansion and system integration. In addition, The proposed MES system supports various functionality such as equipment master code management, equipment management, inspection management, repair management, failure management, and statistic management in detail.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest guideline for better user experience of unmanned store focusing on the Seven Eleven signature. The case study was conducted to investigate the characteristics of unmanned stores in the US and China, and to conduct comparative studies with the Seven Eleven Signature Store. As a result, I was able to derive 7 items, Easy, Simplified, Accessible, Findable, Informative, Flexible, Credible that help to improve the shopping experience. We hope that the follow up study will help to improve the unmanned store in Korea and improve the experience.

  • This paper presents design and control of a wheelchair robot for handicapped or elderly persons. Novel multi-functional design concepts are introduced. The first function is to balance the chair always parallel to the flat ground so that the driver feels comfortable when he/she drives on the slope. The second function is to help the driver to stand up by pushing the chair so that the driver can get out from the chair with ease. The third design is to make it foldable for easy carrying for automobiles. The last function is an immediate stop and start protection. Experimental studies are conducted to demonstrate the feasibility and functionality of each mechanical design.

  • It is net easy to predict the shrinkage rate of a plastic injection mold in its design process. The shrinkage rate should be considered as one of the important performances to produce the reliable products. The shrinkage rate can be determined by suing the CAE tools in the design produces. However, since the analysis can take minutes to hours, the high computational costs of performing the analysis limit their use in design optimization. In this study, the surrogate models based on the DACE is used in lien of the original models, facilitating design optimization.

  • We are in the process of developing information systems that can be helpful for the effective management of community health services provided by the health center and subcenters in Hwachon Gun, Kangwon Do. In doing so, we have employed a different program design from those programs of information systems developed in other health centers or subcenters. The main idea of our design is dividing all the programs into two parts. One part is for the control of operation functions such as addding, seeking, editing, and printing needed to all the tasks. The other consists of a set of programs each of which deals with a specific task. It is believed that this program design would result in an information system that is simple to use, easy to modify and expand, and flexible to new computer technologies.
