보육교사의 소진에 대한 자아탄력성과 시설장, 동료교사와 가족의 사회적 지지 (The Effect of Ego-resilience and Directors, Co-workers and Family's Social Support to Childcare Teachers' Burnout)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of childcare teachers' ego-resilience and directors, co-workers and family's social support to childcare teachers' burnout. The participants in this study were 326 childcare teachers from Daejeon metropolitan city and Chungnam province. They responded to the 'Maslach Burnout Inventory', 'Ego-resilience Scale', and 'Social Support Scale'. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's productive correlation, stepwise multiple regression, Duncan test for post hoc test, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for reliability, and factor analysis for validity by SPSS PC program (18.0 version). The results were as follows; first, there were significant differences in childcare teachers' burnout scores in relation to the educational levels of childcare teachers, their working hours, children's number per class, and the ages of the children they teach. Second, there were significant negative correlations (r = -.11~-.62) among childcare teachers' ego-resilience, directors, teaching colleagues and family's social supports, and their levels of burnout. Finally, childcare teachers' ego-resilience and teaching colleagues' levels of social support helped explain about 43% the childcare teachers' burnout total scores and about 17~39% of their sub-scores.

Moderating Effect of Childcare Teachers' Role Conflict on the Relationship Between Professionalism Perception and Teacher Efficacy: Focused on Teachers Having Children

  • The purpose of the study was to examine the moderating effect of childcare teachers' role conflict on the relationship between their professionalism perception and teaching. The subjects were 365 childcare teachers who had children. They were asked to complete the survey on professionalism perception, role conflict in women, and teacher efficacy along with their background information. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS version 24.0 software. Descriptive, Pearson's correlation analyses, and a hierarchical regression analysis were conducted. As results, first, the childcare teachers with high professionalism perception showed high teacher efficacy, and the childcare teachers with high role conflict showed low teacher efficacy. Second, there was the moderating effect of role conflict on the relationship between professionalism perception and teacher efficacy.

X, M, Z 보육교사의 세대 및 직무 인식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Generational and Job Perception of X, M, Z Generation Childcare Center Teacher)

  • Objective: This study examines the generational characteristics and job perceptions of early childhood teachers from Generations X, M, and Z. Methods: Seventeen teachers were selected based on their career and the types of childcare centers they worked in. Focus group interviews explored their job perceptions, teaching methods, career intentions, and strategies to attract future teachers. Results: The results revealed both positive and negative generational perceptions, with Generation X and M noted for diverse job experiences and Generation Z for digital skills. Individual differences were also observed. All generations reported low job satisfaction due to societal perceptions and environmental changes. Many teachers plan to change jobs. The study suggests utilizing generational strengths for peer support to enhance professional development. Conclusion/Implications: Furthermore, improvements in societal perception and treatment of childcare jobs are needed to attract future teachers. The findings suggest implications for enhanced intergenerational communication and collaboration in the childcare field.

예비보육교사의 보육교사 적성이 교사전문성 인식에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Early Childhood Preservice Teachers' Aptitude of ChildCare Teacher on their Perception of Teacher Professionalism)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 보육전공 학생들의 보육교사 적성이 교사전문성 인식에 영향을 미치는 요인은 무엇인지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 A시에 소재한 예비보육교사 216명을 대상으로 질문지를 사용하여 실시하였다. 자료처리 및 분석은 SPSS 통계패키지 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 평균과 표준편차를 구하였다. 또한 신뢰도검증을 위하여 Cronbach's ${\alpha}$를 산출하였고, 각 변인간의 관련성을 알아보기 위해 상관관계분석과 다면적 회귀분석 방법을 활용하였다. 연구결과에 대하여 첫째, 보육전공 학생들이 지각한 보육교사 적성에서는 영유아에 대한 친화력과 업무에 대한 소명감이 교사전문성 인식에서는 사회적 필요성과 직업윤리가 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비보육교사들의 보육교사 적성, 교사전문성 인식에서 통계적으로 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 예비보육교사들의 보육교사 적성의 하위요인이 교사전문성 인식의 하위요인 모두에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과로 볼 때, 보육전공 학생들의 보육교사 적성에 대한 중요성을 인식하고 질 높은 보육서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 명확하고 올바르고 긍정적인 보육교사 적성이 형성될 수 있도록 다양한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 사료된다.

보육교사와 예비교사의 응급처치에 대한 인식 비교 (Comparison between perception of early child care teachers and preservice child care teachers regarding the first aid)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 보육교사와 예비교사의 응급상황에 대한 대처 인식, 응급처치 방법에 대한 인식이 어떠한지 살펴보고, 이들 변인간의 차이를 알아보는데 있다. 연구 대상은 충청남도에 위치한 어린이집에서 근무하는 보육교사 188명과 동일 지역 소재 대학의 보육관련학과에 재학 중인 예비교사 70명을 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 빈도와 백분율로 처리하였고, 차이검증을 위해 교차분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 응급상황에 대한 대처 인식 중 응급상황 발생 시 대처능력과 가장 많이 발생하는 응급상황에 대한 답변은 보육교사와 예비교사가 차이를 나타냈다. 심폐소생술 인식과 이에 대한 교육 참여인식은 보육교사와 예비교사 모두 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 응급상황에 따른 처치방법에 대한 인식에서 오답률이 높은 상황으로 보육교사와 예비교사 전체는 끼임, 중독, 구토, 물림 순으로 나타났다. 각 변인별로 살펴보면, 보육교사는 중독, 끼임, 구토, 물림 순인데 반해, 예비교사는 끼임, 구토, 중독, 물림 순으로 나타나 세부적으로는 차이를 나타냈다. 보육교사와 예비교사가 차이를 나타낸 상황으로 출혈(상처), 고열, 심폐소생술로 모두 보육교사의 정답률이 높았다. 이상의 연구결과를 통해 다양한 응급처치 상황에 대한 실습교육이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

유아교육과 보육의 통합에 관한 의견 분석 : 유치원·보육시설 원장과 교사를 중심으로 (Survey on the Integration of Early Childhood Education and Childcare)

  • This research investigated the opinions of teachers and directors on the integration of early childhood education and childcare centers in Korea. Participants were 800 teachers and directors working with young children in kindergartens and childcare centers. The survey consisted of questions regarding reasons, feasibility, and means of integration, as well as tasks that should be achieved prior to integration. Results showed that the participants were skeptical about executing the integration in practice even though they agreed to the integration of education and care in early childhood. They reported the integration of auspices should take place prior to integration of education and care in early childhood.

예비 보육교사의 전공 자율동아리 참여 경험의 의미 (Pre-service Early Childhood Teachers' Experiences of Participation in Major-associated Autonomous Club Activities)

  • Objective: This study examined the experiences of pre-service Early Childhood teachers who participated in major-associated autonomous club activities. Methods: Participants were 31 students of the Department of Child Care at A University located in Gyeonggi-do, who participated in a major-associated autonomous music club activity. A content analysis was conducted to examine the meaning of the participation experience of pre-service Early Childhood teachers. Qualitative content analysis was the best method to analyze the meaning of their experience while participating in the activities. Results: The meaning of the experience of music club activities was organized into three categories: "enjoying abundant college life," "growing as a competent childcare teacher," and "being a responsible member of a community." Conclusion/Implications: The results show that pre-service Early Childhood teacher's participation in the activities of major-associated autonomous clubs has a positive impact on desirable changes in college life and adaptation to the department and on the growth of future professional Early Childhood teachers.

유아교사의 교육신념과 교수효능감의 관계 연구 (Relationship between Educational Beliefs and Teaching Efficacy of Early Childhood Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the association between educational beliefs and teaching efficacy of early childhood teachers. The subjects were 291 early childhood teachers in Gwangju City and Jeonnam Province. The research showed that teachers' educational beliefs were significantly associated with teaching efficacy for the teachers who have more than five-year-teaching career. In addition, teachers who had maturational educational belief showed higher scores in general teaching efficacy throughout all educational level. Moreover, teachers who had maturational educational belief and interactional educational belief showed higher teaching efficacy scores in public and private kindergartens and private childcare centers.

보육교사의 교사-유아 상호작용 평가 척도 개발 연구 (A Study on the Development of Interaction Scale between Teachers and Children for Childcare Teachers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 여성가족부에서 발간한 2005년 보육시설 평가인증지침을 기초로 보육교사의 교사-유아 긍정적 상호작용을 평가할 수 있는 도구를 개발하는데 목적이 있으며, 본 척도의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검증함으로써 그 적합성을 알아보는데 있다. 어린이집에서 만 3세 이상의 보육을 담당하는 보육교사 205명이 연구대상이며, 보육교사의 교사-유아 상호작용 평가도구의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 8요인으로 분류되었고, 각각 '긍정적인 교사의 말과 행동', '또래간 긍정적 상호작용의 격려', '낮잠시간배려', '화장실 사용배려', '유아의 부정적 정서수용 및 문제상황개입', '유아의 자유놀이에 긍정적 참여', '유아에 대한 평등한 대우', '식사와 간식시간배려'등으로 명명되었다. 보육교사의 교사-유아 상호작용 평가 도구의 신뢰도는 .94이며, 제작된 보육교사의 교사-유아 상호작용의 영역들간에 유의한 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

어린이집 보육교사의 효능감, 전문성에 대한 인식이 보육과정 수행에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Nursing Teacher's Efficacy and Professionalism on Childhood Curriculum Performance)

  • Objective: This study examined the effect of early childhood teachers' perceptions of teacher efficacy and professionalism, which are personal traits, when administering the National Childcare Curriculum. Methods: Using snowball sampling, data were collected from 266 childcare center teachers in the nation and were analyzed using one-way analyses of variance and multiple regression using SPSS 14.0. Results and Conclusion: The findings are as the following: First, teacher efficacy was not significantly different among teachers by age, teaching experience, education, and childcare center type. Second, teacher efficacy was significantly related to the perception of their professionalism. Lastly, teachers' perceptions of teacher efficacy and professionalism explained significantly the variance in teachers' performance when administering the National Childcare Curriculum.
