  • When the track designer analyze the track structure uses many known & unknown parameters. Unknown parameters, equivalent rail support spring factor, unit rail support spring factor, track damping coefficient, should be assumed. Known parameters are section properties (area, section factor, etc), material properties(modulus of elasticity, mass, etc) and track conditions(wheel load, loading conditions, gauge, etc.). In the assumption of track design parameters, some parameters can be overestimated or under estimated. The purpose of this study is to verify design parameters used in track design, in the way of experimental measurements. Data of displacements, banding stresses, loads, accelerations are measurable at track site. From these data, unknown parameters are derived. Compare these assumed and derived parameters, estimate the entire track stability.

Biological Characteristics and Preservation of Dokdo Island

  • Dokdo, which is located in the middle of the East Sea, is a small island tilth a total area of 0.186 $\textrm{km}^2$. However, this small island, with its mild oceanic climate, has rich bio-resources and picturesque natural surroundings. Dokdo in the crystaline waters and In the central area of the deep sea is a treasury of algaes (sea oak, sea mustard, gulf weed, laver, agar-agar, etc.), molluscs (squid, ear shell, conch, etc.) and fishes (Alaska pollack, anchovy, saucy, herring, etc.). On the other hand, there are a lot of grasses and various kinds of grasses on the land of Dokdo. And a lot of back-tailed gulls (about 20,000 Individuals) live on this island. There have been disputes on the sovereignty over Dokdo between Korea and Japan. Japan has claimed sovereignty over Dokdo since Japan incorporated the island into Japanese territory in 1905 when it occupied the Korean Peninsula by force. Korea governed Dokdo not only before 1905 but also after its liberation in 1945. The Korean government, while heavily financing building facilities like pleas and quays, is endeavoring to preserve the natural surroundings of this island.

  • The waterproofing of Building on the roof has been exposed more underground or the other part of waterproofing than environmental factor(solar heat, UV, salt, acid rain, wind, temperature, snow, rain, etc.) or physical factor. So it must be have a waterproofing performance and it has a special technique for the maintaining of concrete durability. Therefore, exposed waterproof layer has to protected from UV, solar heat, rain and the outside environment also, to endurance durability methods spread face plate topcoat material on the waterproof layer. But, actuality faceplate waterproof layer of topcoat materials are unbearable to UV, solar heat and moisture etc. and it doesn't have adhesion with waterproof layer in the middle. So it happens to crack, separating and heaving etc. Therefore, in the study, we will suggest that using of the exposed roof waterproof layer topcoat materials test method manage rooftop waterproof layer for the durability and the stability.

  • I try to introduce three types of designs for automatic container operating system which are designed by Institute of Japan Port Research in 1996. Each types are designedto fit with the situations of Japan Port. 'A'type of these designs adapts Dual Container Crane, AGV, RMG, etc. 'B'type of these designs adapts Dual Container Crane, AGV, OHBC, RTG. And 'C'type of these designs adapts Single Container Crane, AGV, OHBC, etc. Even if three designs are introduced, they have some problems to solve for the future. They are Lashing work, Refeer container problem, check for container and seal in main gate, Establishing EDI NETWORK, etc. I expect that this paper will be a helps to development of our port industry.

  • Slipping during various kinds of movement often leads to potentially dangerous incidents of falling. The purpose of this paper was to review some of the research performed in the field including such topics as rating scales for balance, kinematics and kinetics of slipping, adaptation to slippery conditions, postural and balance control, and protective movement during falling. Controlling slipping and fall injuries requires a multifaceted approach. Environmental conditions (state of floor surface, tidiness, lighting, etc), work task (walking, carrying, pushing, lifting, etc), and human behavior (anticipation of hazards, adaptation to risks, risk taking, etc) must be accounted for in the assessment of slip and fall-related risks. Future directions of research must deal with modeling of basic tribophysical, biomechanical, and postural control process involved in slipping and falling.

  • Screw rotors are core parts of screw type air compressors, compressors in refrigerating machines and super chargers of automobiles etc. They are composed of a female and a male rotors which have complex section profiles and helically swept geometry. Screw type compressors have advantages of low noise, high efficiency, less needs in maintenance etc. Usually, machining process of screw rotors requires long machining time using CNC machine designed only for screw rotors, which increase the cost of production. In this work, the screw rotors for air-compressors were manufactured with fiber reinforced epoxy composite materials by resin transfer molding process. The mold for the RTM process was made of aluminum and silicon rubber and was designed for release of helical shape products. Composite screw rotors, manufactured by RTM process, have advantages of lightweight, less cost of production, good characteristics of vibration etc.

The frequency of source of prescriptions is Dongweonshibse(東垣十書), Hagansanghansamyukse(河間傷寒三六書), Senmyoungronbang(宣明論方), Gogumuigam(古今醫鑑), Dangyesimbob(丹溪心法), Uihakgangmok(醫學綱目), Taepyonghyeininhwajekukbang(太平惠民和劑局方) in sequence. 2. The classification of prescriptions by efficacy is Haepyoy(解表藥), Igiyak(理氣藥), Boikyak(補益藥), Sahayak(瀉下藥), Chongyo1yak(淸熱藥等), etc., in sequence. 3. The frequency of used medicine is Gangwhal(羌活), Insam(人蔘), Hwangbaek(黃柏), Gamsu(甘遂), Jadakek(紫大戟), Daehwang(大黃), Seungma(升麻), Shiho(紫胡), Bangpung(防風), Jinpi(陳皮), Oyak(烏藥), Chongung(川芎), Changchul(蒼朮), Gobon(藁本), etc., in sequence. 4. The Song(性) of used medicine is mainly Onsong(溫性) and Hansong(寒性), the mi(味) is Sinmi(辛味), Gomi(苦味), Gammi(甘味), Hammi(鹹味) in sequence, the Gwigyong(歸經) is Bigyong (脾經), Wigyong(胃經), Gangyong(肝經), Paegyong(肺經), etc., in seguence.

  • Clinically, treatment goal of neuropathic pain focused on not elimination of etiology but management and control of symptoms because we don't know certain about clear etiology of neuropathic pain yet. The drugs used for the management of neuropathic pain were classified as drugs with strong evidence for benefit(antidepressants, anticonvulsants, opioid analgesics etc.), modest evidence for benefit(mexiletine, carbamazepine, clonidine etc.), preliminary evidence for benefit(NSAIDs, dextromethorphan, topiramate etc.). Finally, the treatment for trigeminal neuralgia was outlined separately since this disorder responds to a different group of drugs than other neuropathic pain conditions.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of ILIB(Intravascular Laser Irradiation of blood) on Hyperfibrinogenemia. 20 patients with fibrinogen level of over $400mg/d{\ell}$ were treated with IUB. After !0 times' treatment, changes of fibrinogen level and clinical symptom were observed. The results were as follows: 1. Fibrinogen level was decreased in all of cases. 2. Most cases were suffered from neural symptoms(headache, palpitation, etc), circulatory symptoms (dizziness, numbness, deficiency of sensation, etc), musculo-skeletal symptoms(L.B.P, neck stiffness, arthralgia, etc.), fatigue, pollakiuria, constipation. After treatment, neural and circulatory symptoms were improved considerably.
