This study aims to discuss sustainable fashion trends and sustainable design directions that fashion companies are practicing with ESG in the post-corona new normal era. As a research method, this study examined sustainable fashion trends and ESG practices through empirical case studies focusing on each fashion brand's website, including previous research and literature research, using materials such as newspapers and magazines. As for ESG practice plans, they were divided into four categories: technology orientation, design orientation, consumption orientation, and social value pursuit orientation. The sustainable fashion trends were also divided into four categories. First, the trend exhibits cyclical sustainability using pro-environmental materials, such as pro-environmental fibers, recycled fibers, biodegradable fibers. Second, high sensitivity and rare value sustainability were shown using reuse and upcycling. Third, consumption-oriented trends were promoted through slow fashion. Fourth, in order to realize eco-friendly sustainable fashion and ESG as practical ways to pursue social values, there is a trend of integrating sustainability through changes in perception considering people, society, and the environment. Beyond spreading concern about value consumption trends and the environment, it presents a direction for future industries concerning core values with social roles, responsibility, and ethical awareness from various perspectives.

Purposes: This study explored the difference analysis of financial performance and technological innovation according to the ESG management activities of healthcare companies based on the time before and after the mandatory ESG management reporting of listed Chinese healthcare companies in China. Methodology: This study collected ESG management activities, corporate financial performance, and technological innovation data of Chinese listed healthcare companies by using Bloomberg Database and China-listed company reports to collect data for analyzing differences between groups through T-test. Findings: ESG activities in the healthcare industry have a certain impact on corporate financial performance, but have no impact on corporate technological innovation. Like the world trend, the ESG activities and financial results of China's healthcare industry have shown a positive development direction in recent years, and ESG scores are rising. Practical Implication: Since 2018, ESG activities in China's healthcare industry have flourished, and ESG activities and financial performance have developed in a positive direction.

Recently, ESG management has become a global trend, receiving increasing attention from stakeholders such as consumers, investors, and governments, as regulations related to ESG disclosure and supply chain due diligence have been strengthened since the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment (UN PRI) was announced in 2006. ESG is an acronym for the environment (E), social (S), and governance (G) and is accepted as a key factor for the continuous survival and growth of a company. As a result, there are over 600 ESG management evaluation indicators operated domestically and internationally, and numerous global initiatives have emerged. Korea's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy also announced "K-ESG Guidelines (December 2011)" and "K-ESG Guidelines for Supply Chain Response (December 22)" to help SMEs introduce ESG management and respond to supply chain due diligence. However, small-scale manufacturing companies with poor financial, human resources, and technological capabilities face significant challenges in introducing ESG management. Accordingly, this study aims to examine the current status of ESG management adoption in small-scale manufacturing companies with less than 150 people in Korea and propose activation plan ESG management based on the diagnostic requirements of the "Supply Chain Response K-ESG Guidelines."

ESG 투자가 금융시장의 대세이자 상식으로 부상하고 있다. ESG 투자는 기업의 재무실적 이외에 환경, 사회, 거버넌스 등 비재무적 요소를 투자의사결정에 반영하여 장기적 관점에서 사회의 지속가능성과 투자수익을 동시에 추구하는 투자방식이다. 본 연구는 일반적으로 알고 있던 ESG 투자의 특징이 코로나19를 계기로 어떻게 변화하고 있는지를 환경, 사회, 거버넌스 관점에서 살펴보았다. 이후 코로나19가 유가증권시장에 부정적 요인으로 작용하였는지 여부를 VAR 모델을 활용하여 규명하였다. 동시에 미국과 한국의 ESG 인덱스와 벤치마크를 수익성과 변동성 관점에서 분석하여 ESG 투자가 팬데믹 국면에서도 유효한 전략임을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과는 팬데믹 이후에도 ESG 투자의 중요성이 변함없을 것이라는 점을 시사한다. 동시에 경영자들이 수동적 ESG 경영을 지양하고 지식경영을 토대로 한 전략적 ESG 경영에 나서야함을 시사한다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify research trends related to ESG by domestic and overseas researchers so far, and to present research directions and clues for the possibility of applying ESG to Korean companies in the future and ESG practice through comparison of derived topics. Research design, data and methodology: In this study, as of October 20, 2022, after searching for the keyword 'ESG' in 'scienceON', 341 domestic papers with English abstracts and 1,173 overseas papers were extracted. For analysis, word frequency analysis, word co-occurrence frequency analysis, BERTopic, LDA, and OLS regression analysis were performed to confirm trends for each topic using Python 3.7. Results: As a result of word frequency analysis, It was found that words such as management, company, performance, and value were commonly used in both domestic and overseas papers. In domestic papers, words such as activity and responsibility, and in overseas papers, words such as sustainability, impact, and development were included in the top 20 words. As a result of analyzing the co-occurrence frequency of words, it was confirmed that domestic papers were related mainly to words such as company, management, and activity, and overseas papers were related to words such as investment, sustainability, and performance. As a result of topic modeling, 3 topics such as named ESG from the corporate perspective were derived for domestic papers, and a total of 7 topics such as named sustainable investment for overseas papers were derived. As a result of the annual trend analysis, each topic did not show a relatively increasing or decreasing tendency, confirming that all topics were neutral. Conclusions: The results of this study confirmed that although it is desirable that domestic papers have recently started research on consumers, the subject diversity is lower than that of overseas papers. Therefore, it is suggested that future research needs to approach various topics such as forecasting future risks related to ESG and corporate evaluation methods.

본 연구는 ESG(환경, 사회, 지배구조)에 대한 연구 동향을 분석함으로써 그 트렌드를 분석하고 기업과 투자자들이 ESG 정보를 활용하는 방을 모색하는 방향을 제시하는 것을 연구목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 비정형 데이터마이닝 기법 중 하나인 텍스트마이닝을 활용하여 분석하였다. SCOPUS 데이터베이스에서 2014년 1월부터 2023년 2월까지의 논문 초록을 수집하였으며, Economics, Econometrics and Finance 분야가 가장 많았다. 미국과 중국이 가장 많은 ESG 논문을 게재하였으며, 한국은 세계에서 6번째로 많은 논문을 게재하였다. 본 연구에서는 ESG의 주요 연구 동향을 텍스트마이닝 기법인 LDA, 토픽모델링 등의 방법을 사용하여 분석을 수행하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. ESG가 특정한 분야가 아닌 다양한 분야에서 이루어지고 있다는 사실을 확인할 수 있었으며, ESG가 미치는 다양한 영향 요인과 파급효과에 대한 분석을 수행하였다는 점에서 기존 연구들과 차별성이 있다.

"ESG management" guides companies to prioritize corporate social responsibility and sustainable development as key management objectives, going beyond mere financial performance pursuits. This approach involves creating a sustainable and robust supply chain by urging companies, acting as 'supply chain managers', to implement ESG management practices alongside their 'supply chain partners'. The domestic business community has been quick to respond to this trend, recognizing that failure to adhere to ESG standards set by organizations such as the EU and SEC could lead to severe repercussions, including exclusion from international trade and reputational damage. POSCO and NAVER, two leading Korean companies, are at the forefront of practicing ESG management effectively. They have both produced and publicly disclosed ESG management reports, showcasing their success in enhancing supply chain ESG management. However, as supply chain managers enforce ESG-related obligations on their suppliers, the likelihood of disputes between the parties may increase. In scenarios where supply chain ESG management leads to conflicts between supply chain managers and suppliers, commercial arbitration emerges as a viable solution for dispute resolution. This method offers several advantages, including the arbitrators' expertise, time and cost efficiency, the binding nature of decisions akin to a court's final judgment, international recognition under the New York Convention, confidentiality, and ample opportunity for parties to be heard. Our analysis focuses on the emerging disputes between supply chain managers and suppliers within the context of supply chain ESG management, particularly examining the cases of POSCO and NAVER. By categorizing the expected types of disputes and assessing the appropriateness of commercial arbitration for their resolution, we highlight the effectiveness of this approach. Furthermore, we propose leveraging the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board's role to enhance the use of arbitration in resolving supply chain ESG disputes, underscoring its potential as a strategic tool for maintaining sustainable and harmonious supply chain relationships.

최근 소비자들은 환경, 사회, 지배구조 관련 정보를 확인하고 더 나은 사회적 가치와 환경 친화적인 제품을 선택하려는 경향이 증가되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 GraphSAGE와 GAT를 결합한 모델인 MultiSAGE를 활용하여 최근 소비 트렌드인 가치소비에 맞추어 ESG 지표를 적용한 상품 추천 시스템을 제안하였다. 이를 위하여 한국 ESG 기준원에서 수집한 2022년 1,033개 기업의 ESG 등급 데이터와 실제 N기업의 쇼핑의 상품 데이터를 Heterogeneous Graph 형식의 데이터로 바꾸는 데이터 처리 과정과 MultiSAGE를 적용하여 머신 러닝에 적용하고, 특정 상품을 입력하면 그 상품의 친환경 대체재를 추천해주는 추천 시스템을 구현하였다. 구현결과, 소비자들은 기업의 ESG지표를 적용한 제품을 쉽게 비교하여 구매할 수 있고, 이를 통해 사회적 가치와 환경친화적인 제품을 추천하는 시스템에 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

Purpose - The purpose of this paper analyzes the relationship between the Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR) and Corporate Value to estimate whether the characteristics of Firm can change this relationship. Design/methodology/approach - This paper utilizes the total 776 firms' data over the period 2014-2018, and develops a new ESG index which was estimated by PCA. Findings - First, the estimated ESG index implies that Large company has the highest value of CSR, while Medium sized and Small company have the relatively low one. And comparing to the case of 2014, the trend of ESG index in Large company does not decrease in 2018. Second, there is a clear and significant non linear relationship between CSR and corporate value, it implies that the U-shaped exists in the Korean Firms. Such a tendency is mush stronger in the Large company. Third, the new ESG index indicates that it takes more time to increase Firm value in the Medium sized and Small company while there is a high possibility of increasing value in Large company from the little gab between the threshold points and mean value of ESG. Research implications or Originality - The non linear tendency between the Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Value is strongly affected by Firm size and the relative high quintile of ESG, but it is less affected by Firm history.

글로벌 지속가능성이 큰 기업들의 가치가 높아짐에 따라 ESG가 최대 화두로 주목받고 있다. 이러한 배경에서 전반적인 글로벌 흐름에 맞추어 국내 ESG에 관한 학문 연구도 급속하게 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 ESG 연구 동향을 살펴보기 위해 체계적 문헌 고찰방법론을 활용하여 ESG 연구의 학문적 관심도 변화를 살펴보고 연구의 주요키워드들을 추출하였다. 이를 위해 지난 10년간 연구가 진행된 ESG 학술논문들을 연도별로 수집하고, 핵심주제어와 논문 제목을 활용하여 텍스트마이닝 기법으로 빈도분석을 하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 국내 ESG 학술논문들의 연도별 게재 수를 계랑 서지학 분석의 누적 수로 분석한 결과 해마다 ESG 연구논문들의 게재수가 증가하고 있으며 이를 통해 ESG 이슈에 대한 학문적 관심도의 지속적인 증가를 확인하였다. 둘째, 연구대상 논문들의 핵심주제어와 논문 제목의 빈도분석 결과로 ESG, 기업, 사회, 책임, 경영, 투자, 지속가능의 단어들이 추출되었다. 또한, 해외에서 체계적 문헌고찰로 진행된 연구를 바탕으로 국내외 ESG 주요키워드들이 공통으로 책임, 지속가능, 경영 임을 확인하였다. 그리고 최근 국외 연구에서 제시한 ESG 주요 이슈와 본 연구에서 제시한 ESG 핵심키워드들의 공통요소들을 비교한 결과 과거 연구들과 비교하면 최근 연구의 관심사가 환경임을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 국내 ESG 연구들이 활용한 데이터들은 주로 KEJI 지수, KRX 지수, KCGS ESG 평가지수 등이 있음을 알 수 있었고, 그리고 중소기업을 대상으로 한 연구는 전체 152편 중 총 8편으로 현저하게 부족함을 확인하였다. 본 연구를 통해 ESG 연구 동향과 연구의 증가 폭을 확인할 수 있었으며, 향후 후속 연구자들이 연구주제 및 연구키워드에 대해 구분하고 더욱 다양한 연구주제 선정하는데 기초자료를 제시하였다. 또한, 중소기업 대상 학문 연구는 아직 미흡하거나 부족하여 이에 관한 관심과 연구가 강화될 필요가 있으며, 빠르게 급변하는 시장에서 실무적으로 접목할 수 있는 ESG 실천 지침 등을 고려한 후속 연구가 필요하다.
