  • This paper aims to introduce the background history and development of records management in brief prior to and after the 1990s based on the records life cycle. This paper also explains the development of electronic document imaging systems and shifts to ERM systemsin the 1990s. The paper explains functional requirements in archival management and software application standards suggested by the industry of electronic records management. The paper concludes with providing problems and issues associated with software design in electronic records management for further development.

  • The present study employed an analytical framework that is characterised by a synthesis of quantitative and qualitative analyses with a specially designed computer software SpeechActConc to examine speech acts in business communication. The naturally occurring data from the audio recordings and the prosodic transcriptions of the business sub-corpora of the HKCSE (prosodic) are manually annotated with a speech act taxonomy for finding out the frequency of fillers, the co-occurring patterns of fillers with other speech acts, and the linguistic realisations of fillers. The discoursal function of fillers to sustain the discourse or to hold the floor has diverse linguistic realisations, ranging from a sound (e.g. 'uhuh') and a word (e.g. 'well') to sounds (e.g. 'um er') and words, namely phrase ('sort of') and clause (e.g. 'you know'). Some are even combinations of sound(s) and word(s) (e.g. 'and um', 'yes er um', 'sort of erm'). Among the top five frequent linguistic realisations of fillers, 'er' and 'um' are the most common ones found in all the six genres with relatively higher percentages of occurrence. The remaining more frequent realisations consist of clause ('you know'), word ('yeah') and sound ('erm'). These common forms are syntactically simpler than the less frequent realisations found in the genres. The co-occurring patterns of fillers and other speech acts are diverse. The more common co-occurring speech acts with fillers include informing and answering. The findings show that fillers are not only frequently used by speakers in spontaneous conversation but also mostly represented in sounds or non-linguistic realisations.

  • Unlike paper records, accessing electronic records needs to be supported by specific combination of hardware and software. The electronic records have longer life span than the storage media, hardware, software and the formats that were used for the production of such records. Because the quality of electronic record can become deteriorated as time goes on, we need to have appropriate mechanisms to secure the long-term preservation and access to the digital information at a certain point in the future. Based on this reality, this study proposes the functions and the development method of the format registry, which efficiently supports the preservation strategy such as migration and emulation, collecting and managing technical information elements. These elements consist of the foundation of the long-term preservation of the electronic records.

  • Information system failure is various such as program test unpreparedness, physical facilities for damage prevention unpreparedness from simple software error. Although cross is trifling the result causes vast damage. Recently, became difficult by simple outside security system to solve this problem. Now, synthetic countermove establishment and suitable confrontation connected with danger came in necessary visual point about general Information Technology of enterprise. In connection with, in this paper, various informations and system and control about data that can happen information inside and outside considering integrity for IT resource, solubility, confidentiality within organization studied about special quality to model synthetic Risk Management System that can of course and cope in danger.

  • In the present work, an extensive study for predicting efficiency parameters (i) of various simulated nanocomposites including Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) as matrix and different structures including various sizes of graphene platelets (GPLs), single, double, and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs-DWCNTs-MWCNTs), and single and double-walled boron nitride nanotubes (SWBNNTs-DWBNNTs) are investigated. It should be stated that GPLs, carbon and boron nitride nanotubes (CNTs, BNNT) with different chiralities (5, 0), (5, 5), (10, 0), and (10, 10) as reinforcements are considered. In this research, molecular dynamics (MDs) method with Materials studio software is applied to examine the mechanical properties (Young's modulus) of simulated nanocomposite boxes and calculate η1 of each nanocomposite boxes. Then, it is noteworthy that by changing length (6.252, 10.584, and 21.173 nm) and width (7.137, 10.515, and 19.936) of GPLs, 1, 2, and 3 approximately becomes (0.101, 0.114, and 0.124), (1.15, 1.22, and 1.26), (1.04, 1.05, and 1.07) respectively. After that efficiency parameters of SWCNTs, DWCNTs, and MWCNTs are calculated and discussed separately. Finally efficiency parameters of SWBNNTs and DWBNNTs with different chiralities by PMMA as matrix are determined by MD and discussed separately. It is known that the accurate efficiency parameters helps a lot to calculate the properties of nanocomposite analytically. In particular, the obtained results from this research can be used for analytical work based on the extended rule of mixture (ERM) in bending, buckling and vibration analysis of structure in future study.
