Yield enhancement in semiconductor fabrication is important. It is ideal to prevent all the failures. However, when a failure occurs, it is important to quickly specify the cause stage and take countermeasure. The automatic method of failure pattern extraction from fail bit map provides reduced time to analysis and facilitates yield enhancement. This paper describes the techniques to automatically classifies a failure pattern using a fail bit map, a new simple schema which facilitates the failure analysis.

A solution containing 3-Mercaptopropyltr-imethoxysilane(MPTMS) was employed to modify surface of cotton fabrics with a silver colloid. Silver nanoparticles were applied on cotton fabrics via treatment with 3-MPTMS. The rate of silver nanoparticles on the fabric surface were measured with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(EDS). EDS results confirm the silver atom on the cotton surface.

This research aims here to develop a certain extended double sampling plan, EDS, which is an extension of ordinary double sampling plan in the sense that the second-stage sampling effort and second-stage critical value are allowed to depend on the point at which the first-stage continuation region is traversed. For purpose of comparison, single sampling plan, optimal ordinary double sampling plan(ODS) and sequential probability ratio test are considered with the same overall error rates, respectively. It is observed that the EDS idea allows less sampling effort than the optimal ODS.

각종 배출원에서 배출된 입자상 물질은 대기 중 확산, 이동, 침착 등을 통해 국지적 도시오염 뿐만 아니라 장거리까지도 이동함으로서 광역적 대기오염의 원인이 되고 있는 등 입자상 물질의 발생원 추적에 관한 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 지금까지 입자상 물질의 발생원 추적은 대부분 배출원의 발생량 조사나 필터에 포집된 시료의 전체적인 화학적 분석의 개념으로 단시간의 시간변동과 개개의 입자가 가지는 정보가 무시되고 평균화되고 있다. (중략)

지식경영(KM)은 기존의 여타 혁신활동과는 달리 조직문화 및 제도의 변화를 기반으로 하여 새로운 지식이 창출, 공유, 활용되도록 하자는 한 차원 발전된 개념임. 따라서, 지식경영의 추진은 필연적으로 기업의 총체적 변화를 요구하게 되고 이것을 뒷받침하기 위한 프로세스의 변화 및 정보시스템의 구축, 변화관리 등이 필요하게 됨. 금일 강의에서는 LG-EDS시스템이 지식경영 도입과 실행을 위해 구체적으로 어떤 활동을 전개하였고 이를 통해 어떤 변화를 이루었는지에 대해 소개하고 그간의 경험으로부터 얻게 된 know-how 등의 암묵적 지식(Tacit Knowledge)\`을 공유코자 함.
