  • In this paper, a SOAP based ebXML cryptography system is proposed for the optimum XML document encryption using RSA algorithm in e-Marketplace. And ciphering algorithms of DES, 3DES, RSA, and proposed RSA were used for the performance analysis of ebXML cryptography system. The network performance of ciphering and deciphering times is evaluated for its enhancement of SOAP based ebXML ciphering e-Marketplace systems using the same block and document sizes by computer simulations.

  • Recently, ebXML and Web Services are emerging as the XML-based electronic business frameworks. To provide a set of registry services which users or applications can store and search the business information, ebXML and Web Services use ebXML registry and UDDI registry, respectively. They use the different registries each other, but there are something that similiar to the structure and functions of both of registries. In this paper, we analyze the similarity of ebXML Registry Information Model(RIM) and UDDI data structure, and construct the mapping information. So, we design and implement the UDDI Service Middleware which translates the request of UDDI registry service into the request of ebXML registry service using the algorithm. Consequently, we could use the ebXML registry like ebXML registry as well as UDDI registry without any changes in the ebXML registry itself so that we can not need to have both of registries for e-business.

  • ebXML and Web Services provide UDDI and ebXML registry for storing and managing the business and Service information of companies, respectively. Recently, W3C have released the OWL(Web Ontology Language) to Recommendation, and OWL-S proposed to describe the semantics of Web Services using the OWL ontologies. In this paper, we compared the OWL-S with the registry information model(RIM) of ebXML and the data structure of UDDI, and directly connect ones, which that of ebXML similar to that of UDDI; we extend the structure of the OWL to connect the rests. Consequently, our system enables to construct the ontologies of services and discover their semantics by using the information stored in the registries, and tintegrate UDDI, ebXML registry and OWL-S registry. By using the extending OWL-S documents in our system, agents can utilize for the semantic matchmaking.

  • ebXML is a global electronic business standard that is sponsored by UN/CEFACT and OASIS. ebXML is an open XML-based infrastructure enabling the global use of electronic business information in an interoperable, secure and consistent manner by all parties. ebXML Registry provides a stable store where the business information submitted by partners is made persistent and a set of registry services that enable clients of the Registry to access them. These services are tied to the structures defined in ebXML Registry Information Model(ebRIM), so we need a way to process them according to underlying database systems. In this paper, we present the result of developing the ebXML Registry Server based on Relational Database Systems.

  • ebXML(Electronic Business XML) is a global eBusiness framework standard which provides solutions to interoperability problem between heterogeneous eBusiness systems. ebXML framework includes Business Process Specification, Core Components, Registry/Repository and Messaging Service as its major components. Based on this framework, ebXML business transactions are executed by exchanging appropriate business documents as specified in Business Process Specification. And required business documents are generated by assembling Core Components at the Business Process design time. In this paper, we present technical architecture of ebXML framework and Core Component technology, and then explain design and implementation issues of ebXML business document generation tool.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the eating behavior (EB) and nutritional status of university students in Gwangju, and to compare their nutrition quotients (NQs) and problems according to their EB types. Methods: The subjects were 219 (127 female and 92 male) undergraduate students from Gwangju. The Student's t-test was used to compare the EB levels according to gender, and Pearson's χ2 test was used to compare the distribution of EB types by gender. A gender-adjusted analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was conducted to examine the difference in NQs by EB types. Results: First, there were significant differences in the EB scores and the distribution of EB types according to gender. Female students showed higher levels of emotional (Emo) and external (Ext) EBs than the male students, and Emo, Ext, and combined (Com) EB types were more evident among female rather than male students. Second, there was a difference in NQs according to the EB types. The Emo EB type subjects had a lower NQ than those of the restrained (Res) EB type and showed significant differences in diversity and dietary behavior. Specifically, the Emo EB type subjects displayed significantly lower efforts to maintain a healthy diet and subjective health status than the Com EB type and their levels of checking nutrition labels, hand washing, and water intake were significantly lower than that of the Res EB type. The Ext EB type showed significantly lower moderation of Ramyeon and sweetened drink intake than the Res and Com EB types. Conclusion: The level of EBs and the distribution of EB types varied according to gender, and the NQs were different according to EB types. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the establishment of customized strategies for improvement by identifying major nutritional problems by gender and the EB types of university students.

  • ebXML is the international technical framework specification that enables Internet-based B2B electronic business using XML, It was standardized by UN/CEFACT and OASIS on May 2001. Registry and Repository is the core of ebXML. It supports registry services which is composed of object management service and object query management service. The object management service manages the object's life cycle and the object query management service provides a mechanism to approach metadata of stored objects. Up to now, implementations of ebXML Registry object query management system don't support full functions of the specification completely. We implemented all the functions of ebXML Registry Service Specification vl.0. This system supports Browse & Drilldown Query, Filter Query, SQL Query, and Object Retrieval Query services. And it also supports Content-based Query service which is not specified in the ebXML RS specification. The Content-based Query service is a repository service which makes it possible In pose content based queries of repository items and which will be specified on the RS specification v2.0.

  • The goal of this paper is to propose a way to register agents so that makes users or autonomousagents to find target agents more conveniently and efficiently. In order to achieve this goal, we first survey the key technologies such as UDDI, ebXML, FIPA DF. As the results, we designed a new agent legistry/repository system based on ebXML technologies. We introduce our agent/repository system for wide area network and describe how to use our system for agent registering and searching target agents for communications. Finally, we give an example to illustrate a typical scenario in which user receives the results from our proposed agent registry/repository system and evaluate its characteristics in terms of advantage.

  • Using the Monte Carlo method, the impact of the angular distribution of the electron source on the dose distribution for the 2.5 MeV ELV electron accelerator was explored. The experiment measured the 3-D dose distribution in the irradiation chamber for electron energies of 1.0 MeV and 2.5 MeV. The simulation used the MCNP6.2 code to evaluate three angular distribution models of the source: a mono-directional beam, a cone shape, and a triangular shape. Of the three models, the triangular shape with angles θ = 30°, φ = 0° best represents the angle of the scan hood through which the electron beam exits. The MCNP6.2 simulation results demonstrated that the triangular model is the most accurate representation of the angular distribution of the electron source for the 2.5 MeV ELV electron accelerator.
