Age and growth of the marbled rockfish, Sebastiscus marmoratus were studied based on 818 specimens caught from the coastal waters of Cheju Island from July 1992 to July 1993 and from June 1994 to July 1995. According to the monthly changes of marginal increment in each annual ring groups, the ring of otolith was formed in both female and male in February. Relationship between the total body length (TL) and the radius of otolith (R) was estimated, Growth of females was rather slower than that of male in total length; TL=-0.526+4.818R(r=0.847) for female, and TL=-1.895+ 5.239R (r=0.881) for male. The growth curve fits well with Bertalanffy equation: $L_{t}=21.484(1-e^{-0.424(t+0.334)})$ for female and $L_{t}=23.698(1-e^{-0.441(t+0.0589)})$ for male, Growth in weight as follows: $W_t=163.42(1-e^{-0.424(t+0.334)})^3$ for female and $W_t=210.14(1-e^{-0.441(t+0.0589)})^3$ for male.

Bacillus velezensis T20E-257 was isolated from the root tissue of a tomato plant and exhibited plant growth-promoting activity. Here we present the complete genome of strain T20E-257. The genome contains 3,900,066 base pairs with a G + C content of 46.7% in 2 contigs. The genome includes 3,708 coding sequences, 27 rRNAs, and 86 tRNAs. We found gene clusters encoding secondary metabolites with an antimicrobial activity and genes related to the production of indole-3-acetic acid and 2,3-butanediol, which play a role in plant growth and health.

In this study, the properties of various material combinations were evaluated and an ideal material for fabricating protection pads for women's army combat uniforms was determined. Eight specimens were used for the evaluation: two types of materials, namely thermoplastic polyurethane for 3D printing, T and ethylene-vinyl acetate, E; two infill densities, namely 10%, 10 and 30%, 30; two types of pad designs, i.e., without holes, A and with holes, B; 2×2×2=8 and control E. The tensile strength, flexural strength, impact absorption, and weight of these specimens were evaluated. Results revealed that E was the most flexible material; however, its tensile strength and impact absorption were very low. Protection pads made from T (T-10A, T-10B, T-30A, and T-30B) had excellent tensile strength and impact absorption; however, they had low performance in ease of movement. Alternatively, protection pad with holes and an infill density of 30% produced using a combination of T and E had a high initial tensile modulus and exhibited excellent impact absorption. Moreover, it was flexible and light, which satisfies the standards and conditions required by protection pads. However, if T-E-10A and T-E-30B exhibited low impact absorption, as required, they can be regarded as appropriate materials for protection pads.

Age growth and spawning period of Enedrias nebulosus were estimated based on otoliths taken from a total of 255 fish samples of E. nebulosus, which were caught in the costal waters of $Kod\v{o}kto$ near Pusan from November 1990 to October 1991. Marginal increment analysis indicates that annuli in E. nebulosus are formed in December. Spawning period was estimated to be November to January, with a peak in December. The von Bertalanffy growth equations were expressed as follows: $L_t=33.64(1-e^{-0.1357(t+2.6853)})$ and $W_t=414.11(1-e^{-0.1357(t+2.6853)})^{3.9745}$, Where $L_t$, is total length in cm, $W_t$, is total weight in g and t is age in year.

The standardization of e-IoT (energy Internet of Things) communication and service, which is the energy field of energy, is to define the standard model and to demonstrate the practical model in order to take the lead and occupy the market where new market is created with the latest technology. In particular, detailed technical specifications are defined for developing a framework for IoT technology, the foundation technology of the 4th Industrial Revolution, securing interoperability through standardization, and operating a standard platform. In this paper, we propose a method for e-IoT standard protocol lightening and test certification procedure. The proposed method provides a product implementation method that can solve the problem of low power issue of e-IoT product in the future.

3-Aryloxy methyl-4-(N-pyrazin-2'yl carboxamido)-5-mercapto-1,2,4-triazoles (3a1-a14) were prepared starting from potassium dithio carbazinates (2a1-a14). These triazoles were then employed in the synthesis of 3-aryloxy methyl-4-(N-pyrazin-2'yl carboxamido)-5-hydrazino-1,2,4-triazoles (4a1-a14). All the newly synthesized compounds were characterized by analytical, IR, NMR spectral studies. The compounds were screened for their antibacterial, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. Most of the compounds have shown significant antifungal activity while few have shown excellent anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity. An attempt is made to study the structure activity relationship (SAR).

본 논문에서는 이동국의 안테나로부터 방사되는 전파의 일부가 인체에 흡수되므로써 기지국에서 수신되는 E$_{b}$ N$_{t}$의 감소에 대해 조사하였고, 감소된 E$_{b}$ N$_{t}$를 기준으로 하여 전파의 인체 흡수가 DS/CDMA BPSK 시스템의 성능에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 인체에서의 흡수가 30[%]에서 40[%]로 증가할 때 기지국에서의 E$_{b}$ N$_{t}$, 값이 약 0.5 [dB] 정도 감소함을 알 수 있으며, 40 [%]에서 50[%]로 중가할 때에는 약 0.6 [dB] 정도 감소함을 알 수 있었다. 또한 시뮬레이션을 통해 사용자 수가 15 명일 때 약 2.5 [dB]의 E$_{b}$ N$_{t}$ 값에서 음성 서비스가 가능하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 이러한 E$_{b}$ N$_{t}$ 값을 만족시키려면, 흡수율이 10 [%] 증가 할 때마다 안테나 방사 전력을 약 20 [mW] 이상 증가시켜야 한다는 것도 알아내었다. 것도 알아내었다.

trans-1-(9-Anthryl)-2-(n-pyridyl)ethene (t-n-APyE, n=2 or 4) and trans-1-(9-anthryl)-2-pyrazinylethene (T-APzE) exhibits solvent-dependent fluorescence and efficient trans)cis photoisomerization. Photochemical reactivities of t-2-APyE, t-4-APyE, and t-APzE have been investigated in nonpolar and polar solvents. In nonpolar solvent, parallel photocyclization reaction occurs very efficiently in competition with the fluorescence and photoisomerization. But, in polar solvent, photocyclization was not observed. It is probably due to the stabilization of charge separated state in polar solvent, which is an intermediate in photoisomerization reaction.

In this note, an alternative proof and extensions are provided for the following conclusions in [6, Theorem 1 and Theorem 3]: The functions $\frac1{x^2}-\frac{e^{-x}}{(1-e^{-x})^2}\;and\;\frac1{t}-\frac1{e^t-1}$ are decreasing in (0, ${\infty}$) and the function $\frac{t}{e^{at}-e^{(a-1)t}}$ for a $a{\in}\mathbb{R}\;and\;t\;{\in}\;(0,\;{\infty})$ is logarithmically concave.
