Ab initio and DFT molecular orbital calculations predict that acetyl radical reacts with acetylene through interactions primarily involving the SOMO of the radical and the in-plane ${\pi}$-bond of acetylene. An energy barrier (${\Delta}E_1$) of 39.6 kJ $mol^{-1}$ is predicted for the preferred anti arrangement of reactants at the CCSD(T)/cc-pVDZ//BHandHLYP/cc-pVDZ level of theory. NBO analysis reveals additional interactions between the radical SOMO and the nearby C-H ${\sigma}$-bond in acetylene worth about 10% of the total transition state interaction energy. This type of orbital interaction has not previously been observed in radical addition reactions involving C-C ${\pi}$-bonds.
Let k be an imaginary quadratic field, h the complex upper half plane, and let $\tau{\in}h{\cap}k,\;q=e^{{\pi}i\tau}$. In this article, we obtain algebraic numbers from the 130 identities of Rogers-Ramanujan continued fractions investigated in [28] and [29] by using Berndt's idea ([3]). Using this, we get special transcendental numbers. For example, $\frac{q^{1/8}}{1}+\frac{-q}{1+q}+\frac{-q^2}{1+q^2}+\cdots$ ([1]) is transcendental.
In this work, it is proposed new PD(partial discharge) detection technique using electro-optic effect, for which partial discharges generated from needle-plane electrode in air were detected through optical measuring system by use of $LiNbO3_3$ electro-optic crystal. As a result, it is noticed that PD measurable phase intervals are limited by the asymmetrical D-E hysteresis loop of the crystal with defects and half-wave voltage. However, both number of measured PD pulses and their amplitude were increased with applied voltage, which likely implies that it is possible to detect PD through newly proposed electro-optic method.
With dichromated bleacher and alcohol drying, over effi. of 81% has been achieved for holographic gratings. It is recorded by two plane waves at 632.8 nm in Agfa 8E75 film. Swollen emulsion and rapid dehydration make a strong modulation. The model works well close to the Bragg condition. It is suggested modified parameters of coupled-wave theory which have good agreement with experimental results.
Dynamic analysis of a typical concrete gravity dam-reservoir system is formulated by FE-(FE-TE) approach (i.e., Finite Element-(Finite Element-Truncation Element)). In this technique, dam and reservoir are discretized by plane solid and fluid finite elements. Moreover, the H-W (i.e., Hagstrom-Warburton) high-order condition imposed at the reservoir truncation boundary. This task is formulated by employing a truncation element at that boundary. It is emphasized that reservoir far-field is excluded from the discretized model. The formulation is initially reviewed which was originally proposed in a previous study. Thereafter, the response of Pine Flat dam-reservoir system is studied due to horizontal and vertical ground motions for two types of reservoir bottom conditions of full reflective and absorptive. It should be emphasized that study is carried out under high order of H-W condition applied on the truncation boundary. The initial part of study is focused on the time harmonic analysis. In this part, it is possible to compare the transfer functions against corresponding responses obtained by FE-(FE-HE) approach (referred to as exact method). Subsequently, the transient analysis is carried out. In that part, it is only possible to compare the results for low and high normalized reservoir length cases. Therefore, the sensitivity of results is controlled due to normalized reservoir length values.
In this study, we explore the anisotropy of electron-phonon coupling (EPC) constant in epitaxially grown MgB2 films on c-axis oriented Al2O3, examining its correlation with the critical temperature (Tc) and local structural disorder assessed through polarized Raman scattering. Analysis of the polarized Raman spectra reveals angle-dependent variations in the intensity of the phonon spectra. The Raman active mode originating from the boron plane, along with two additional phonon modes from the phonon density of states (PDOS) induced by lattice distortion, was distinctly observed. Persistent impurity scattering, likely attributed to oxygen diffusion, was noted at consistent frequencies across all measurement angles. The EPC values derived from the primary Raman active phonon do not significantly vary with changing observation angles, followed by that the Tc values calculated using the Allen and Dynes formula remain relatively constant across all polarization angles. Although the E2g phonon mode plays a crucial role in the EPC mechanism, the determination of Tc values in MgB2 involves not only electron-E2g coupling but also contributions from other phonon modes.

In this paper, PIFA antenna for $2.40{\sim}2.482GHz\;and\;5.75{\sim}5.85GHz$ is designed, fabricated, and measured. The prototype consist of hair-pin and short-pin. To obtain suitable bandwidth, the form layer is inserted between ground plane and substrate. Important parameters in the design are hair-pin length, width, position, air-gap height, and feed point position. From these parameters optimized, a PIFA antenna is fabricated and measured. The measured results of the antenna are obtained as follows results. The resonant frequency of the fabrication PIFA antenna is 2.37GHz and 5.86GHz bandwidth for approximately 90MHz with 350MHz(VSWR<2.0) and the gain is $1.91{\sim}4.37dBi$. H-plan and E-plan at 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz are shown as $52.83^{\circ},\;85.90^{\circ}\;and\;68.68^{\circ},\;52.143^{\circ}$ respectively.
This paper presents the theoretical developments of an exact finite strip for the buckling and initial post-buckling analyses of isotropic flat plates. The so-called exact finite strip is assumed to be simply supported out-of-plane at the loaded ends. The strip is developed based on the concept that it is effectively a plate. The present method, which is designated by the name Full-analytical Finite Strip Method in this paper, provides an efficient and extremely accurate buckling solution. In the development process, the Von-Karman's equilibrium equation is solved exactly to obtain the buckling loads and the corresponding form of out-of-plane buckling deflection modes. The investigation of thin flat plate buckling behavior is then extended to an initial post-buckling study with the assumption that the deflected form immediately after the buckling is the same as that obtained for the buckling. It is noted that in the present method, only one of the calculated out-of-plane buckling deflection modes, corresponding to the lowest buckling load, i.e., the first mode is used for the initial post-buckling study. Thus, the postbuckling study is effectively a single-term analysis, which is attempted by utilizing the so-called semi-energy method. In this method, the Von-Karman's compatibility equation governing the behavior of isotropic flat plates is used together with a consideration of the total strain energy of the plate. Through the solution of the compatibility equation, the in-plane displacement functions which are themselves related to the Airy stress function are developed in terms of the unknown coefficient in the assumed out-of-plane deflection function. These in-plane and out-of-plane deflected functions are then substituted in the total strain energy expressions and the theorem of minimum total potential energy is applied to solve for the unknown coefficient. The developed method is subsequently applied to analyze the initial postbuckling behavior of some representative thin flat plates for which the results are also obtained through the application of a semi-analytical finite strip method. Through the comparison of the results and the appropriate discussion, the knowledge of the level of capability of the developed method is significantly promoted.

This paper presents the design of linear and circular polarization baseball- shaped circular microstrip antenna (BCMA) with 3-dimensional structure using perturbation effect to reduce its size, which runs at 1.575GHz frequency bandwidth. As a result, the size of linear polarized antenna could be reduced up to 23.7% in patch diameter and 41.8% in its area. Linear polarized antenna has -26.04dB of return loss, 69MHz(4.38%) of -l0dB bandwidth, 4.51dBd of gain, and its -3dB beamwidth are 99$^{\circ}$ in E-plane, 83$^{\circ}$ in H-plane. Circular polarized antenna has -17.43dB of return loss, 113.7MHz(7.2%) of -l0dB bandwidth, 2dBd of gain, 2dB of axial ratio and its -3dB beamwidth are 87$^{\circ}$, 86$^{\circ}$ x-axis polarized, 80$^{\circ}$, 84$^{\circ}$ y-axis polarized. It has 82mm of diameter, which is 28.5% of linear polarized CMPA. Therefore, in this paper we verified that baseball-shaped 3-dimensional structure of circular microstrip patch antenna applied with perturbation effect is appropriate for miniaturization.

In this paper, we proposed a internal antenna for Quad band for GSM/DCS/USPCS/WCDMA Handset. Antenna Structure is designed to PIFA type. Antenna planed two independence patterns to reduce the size for efficiency and used shoting pin and inverse seven_type slit. Also they miniaturized the antenna construction electronic length for duty. furthermore, they designed and producted the antena height for 5w and ground term for 40*80mm. It is because they have wondered the thickness of terminal. used of for reduce size efficiently. The radiation pattern characteristic of antenna is compared and analyzed E-plane and H-plane at 920MHz, 1800MHz.
