셀룰러 네트워크의 동적채널에서 빠른 분산 전력 제어 기법의 특성에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Fast Distributed Power Control Schemes in Cellular Network under Dynamic Channel)

  • To address the convergence issue of power control algorithms, a number of algorithms have been developed hat shape the dynamics of up-link power control for cellular network. Power algorithms based on fixed point iterations can be accelerated by the use of various methods, one of the simplest being the use of Newton iterations, however, this method has the disadvantage which not only needs derivatives of the cost function but also may be weak to noisy environment. we showed performance of the power control schemes to solve the fixed point problem under static or stationary channel. They proved goof performance to solve the fixed point problem due to their predictor based optimal control and quadratic convergence rate. Here, we apply the proposed power control schemes to the problem of the dynamic channel or to dynamic time varying link gains. The rigorous simulation results demonstrated the validity of our approach.

  • This paper describes an approach for synthesizing a Fuzzy Logic Controller(FLC) that combines the benefits of fuzzy logic control and fuzzy logic gain scheduling for the F/A-18 aircraft. Specially, fuzzy rules are utilized on-line to determine the denoralization factor(Κ) of a feedback fuzzy controller based on the dynamic pressure(Q) indicateing the region of the flight envelop the aircraft is operating in. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed FLC provides excellent compensation for time-varying and/or nonlinear characteristics of the aircraft, and that it also exhibits satisfactory robustness with noisy air data sensors.

이득 조절 제어기법을 이용한 모바일 로봇의 경로 추종 제어 (Tracking Control of a Mobile Robot using Gain-scheduling Control Method)

  • The mobile robot is one of the widely-used systems in service industry. We propose a gain-scheduling feedback controller for the tracking control of the mobile robot. The benefit of our proposed controller is that it avoids the singularity issue occurs with the controllers suggested in [4], [10]. Moreover, we show the stability analysis of the controlled system via a Lyapunov stability approach such that the exponential convergence of tracking error to zero is analytically provided. The simulation results show the validity of the proposed controller and improved control performance over the conventional controller.

  • This paper discusses dynamic characteristics of motion of a pair of multi-degrees of freedom robot fingers executing grasp of a rigid object and controlling its orientation with the aid of rolling contacts. In particular, the discussions are focused on a problem of gain-tuning of sensory feedback signals proposed from the viewpoint of sensorymotor coordination, which consist of a feedforward term, a feedback term for controlling rotational moment of the object, and another term for controlling its rotational angle. It is found through computer simulations of the overall fingersobject dynamics subject to rolling contact constraints that some dynamic characteristics of torque-angular velocity relation may play an important role likely as reported by experimental results in muscle physiology and therefore selection of damping gains in angular velocity feedback depending on the guess of object mass is crucial. Finally, a guidance of gain-tuning in each feedback term is suggested and its validity is discussed by various computer simulations.

  • The properties of linear time-varying(LTV) systems vary because of the time-varying property of plant parameters. The generalized controller design method for linear time-varying systems does not exit because the analytic soultion of dynamic equation has not been found yet. Hence, to design a controller for LTV systems, the robust control methods for uncertain LTI systems which are the approximation of LTV systems have been generally ised omstead. However, these methods are not sufficient to reflect the fast dynamics of the original time-varying systems such as missiles and supersonic aircraft. In general, both the performance and the robustness of the control system which is designed with these are not satisfactory. In addition, since a better model will give the more robustness to the controlled system, a gain scheduling technique based on LTI controller design methods has been uesd to solve time problem. Therefore, we propose a new gain scheduled QFT method for LTV systems based on neural networks in this paper. The gain scheduled QFT involves gain dcheduling procedured which are the first trial for QFT and are well suited consideration of the properties of the existing QFT method. The proposed method is illustrated by a numerical example.

  • This study proposes a new simulation method of high speed rotor system with the dynamic model using multi body dynamic analysis tool and with a new phase modulating technique as a system control algorithm. A dynamic model of high speed rotor system was built by, ADAMS, commercial multi body dynamic program. The phase modulating technique is a new control algorithm for a rotor system. This algorithm can control system using an adaptive proportional gain and an adaptive phase which are obtained from periodical input signal. To make control system, a ADAMS model and component parameters and phase controller was composed by Matlab Simulink And simulate it.

넓은 동적 영역의 파워 검출기를 이용한 DVB-S2용 디지털 자동 이득 제어 시스템 (A Fully Digital Automatic Gain Control System with Wide Dynamic Range Power Detectors for DVB-S2 Application)

  • 본 논문에서는 높은 대역폭과 넓은 동적 영역을 갖는 DVB-S2를 위한 새로운 디지털 이득 제어 시스템을 제안하였다. DVB-S2 시스템의 PAPR은 매우 크며, 요구되는 정착 시간은 매우 작기 때문에 일반적인 폐-루프 아날로그 이득 제어 방식은 사용할 수 없다. 정확한 이득 제어와 기저 대역 모뎀과의 직접적인 인터페이스를 위해서 디지털 이득 제어가 필요하다. 또한 아날로그 이득 제어 방식에 비해 정착 시간과 공정, 전압, 온도 값의 변화에 둔감한 이점을 갖는다. 본 논문에서는 세밀한 해상도와 넓은 이득 영역을 갖기 위해서 AGC 시스템 및 구성회로를 제안하였다. 이 시스템은 높은 대역폭의 디지털 VGA와 넓은 파워 범위를 가진 RMS 검출기, 저 전력의 SAR 타입 ADC, 그리고 디지털 이득 제어기로 구성되어 있다. 파워 소모와 칩면적을 줄이기 위해 한 개의 SAR 타입 ADC를 사용했으며, ADC 입력은 4개의 파워 검출기를 사용하여 시간 축 상에서 인터리빙 방식으로 구현하였다. 모의실험 및 측정 결과는 제안하는 AGC 시스템의 이득 에러가 $10{\mu}s$ 내에서, 0.25 dB보다 낮은 것을 보여주고 있다. 전체 칩은 $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS 공정을 사용하여 설계하였다. 제안된 IF AGC 시스템의 측정 결과는 0.25 dB의 해상도와 80 dB의 이득 범위, 8 nV/$\sqrt{Hz}$의 입력 기준 잡음, $IIP_3$는 5 dBm, 전력 소모는 60 mW임을 보여주고 있다. 파워검출기는 100 MHz 입력에서 35 dB의 동적 영역을 갖는다.

Ball screw형 전동식 동력 조향 장치의 제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Control Algorithm for a Ball Screw Type of Motor Driven Power Steering System)

  • The power wteering system for automobiles is becoming core popular for supporting steering efforts of the drivers, especially for a parking lot maneuver. Though hydraulic power steering has been widely used for a long time, the efficiency of that is not high enough. The motor driven power steering system can solve the problems associated with the hydraulic power steering system. In this study, dynamic model and control algorithm of the ball screw type of MDPS systenem have been derived and analysed by using the method of discrete modeling technology. To improve steering feel and power steering characteristics, the additional scheme is proposed to the conventional power boosting control algorithm. Through simulations, control gain effects to the steering angle gain in the frequency domain were verified. The steering returnability and steering torque phase lag in on-center handing test were performed also.

Monolithic SiGe HBT Feedforward Variable Gain Amplifiers for 5 GHz Applications

  • Monolithic SiGe heterojunction bipolar transistor (HBT) variable gain amplifiers (VGAs) with a feedforward configuration have been newly developed for 5 GHz applications. Two types of the feedforward VGAs have been made: one using a coupled-emitter resistor and the other using an HBT-based current source. At 5.2 GHz, both of the VGAs achieve a dynamic gain-control range of 23 dB with a control-voltage range from 0.4 to 2.6 V. The gain-tuning sensitivity is 90 mV/dB. At $V_{CTRL}$= 2.4 V, the 1 dB compression output power, $P_{1-dB}$, and dc bias current are 0 dBm and 59 mA in a VGA with an emitter resistor and -1.8 dBm and 71mA in a VGA with a constant current source, respectively.
