This paper presents dynamic analysis of HVAC(heating ventilation & air conditioning) heater case which consists of heater and evaporator unit for passenger car. To analyze the dynamic characteristics of HVAC heater case, finite element model which consists of shell elements is constructed for modal analysis and experimental modal analysis has been conducted. Finite element analysis results are compared with experimental results to evaluate of validity of finite element model. After identifying mode shape and natural frequency of HVAC heater case, local stiffness of HVAC case is evaluated through point mobility using finite element analysis and experiment.

Mobile IP is a simple and scalable global mobility solution. However, it may cause excessive signaling traffic and long signaling delay. So MN (Mobile Node) to the home network in order to reduce the number of location update signaling is necessary to reduce the delay. In this paper, the signaling overhead to be distributed evenly on the boundary of the regional network, each MN's dynamic mobility and traffic load is adjusted according to the PMIPv6 (Proxy Mobile IPv6) networks in the proposed dynamic regional mobility management scheme (dMMS). Each user in a distributed network system that offers the least amount of signaling traffic is tailored to the optimized system configuration. Signaling cost function in order to propose a new discrete analytical model is proposed, MN's mobility and packet arrival patterns. Location update and packet delivery costs to calculate the total average, the optimized area to determine the size of the network is proposed. The results of mathematical analysis, the proposed technique dMMS in terms of reducing the cost of the entire signaling were found to be excellent performance.

Personal mobility (PM) can increase the mobility of individual, so that the elderly can be set as the target group for using PM because of relatively low walking ability to normal. In this study, we design PM device for elderly that can be used safely in the walking environment such as sidewalk. There are various obstacles in the walking environment, so the device must have mechanical performance to overcome all of them. In this study, we survey the status and level of obstacle factors in walking environment to determine the dynamic performance of the PM device for elderly. We check up several guidelines about walking facilities to define obstacle points for the device, establish field survey methodologies, and conduct field survey for some specific road sections. Based on the survey results, we confirm the possible problems that could arise when the dynamic performance of the device is selected based on the facility-related criteria. We also define the performance requirements for the device based on the requirements for electric wheelchair.
Vertebral compression fractures result in vertebral height loss and alter sagittal spinal alignment, which in turn can lead to increased morbidity and mortality. Acute osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures are known to increase mobility and instability of the spine. There are limited published data correlating the degree of dynamic mobility and the efficacy of kyphoplasty on vertebral compression fractures. Here we report a 73-year-old female with a severe acute osteoporotic L2 compression fracture who obtained total vertebral height restoration following kyphoplasty, with resolution of back pain.

This paper presents a new technique that derives the dynamic acceleration bounds of multiple cooperating robot systems from given individual torque limits of robots. A set of linear algebraic homogeneous equation is derived from the dynamic equations of multiple robots with friction contacts. The mobility of the robot system is analyzed by the decomposition of the null space of the linear algebraic equation. The acceleration bounds of multiple robot systems are obtained from the joint torque constraints of robots by the medium of the decomposed null space. As the joint constraints of the robots are given in the infinite norm sense, the resultant acceleration bounds of the systems are described as polytopes. Several case studies are presented to validate the proposed method in this paper.

Most of the research in the area of wireless communications exclusively relies on simulations. Further, it is essential that the mobility management strategies and routing protocols should be validated under realistic conditions. Most appropriate mobility models play a pivotal role to determine, whether there is any subtle error or flaw in a proposed model. Simulators are the standard tool to evaluate the performance of mobility models however sometimes they suffer from numerous documented problems. To accomplish the widely acknowledged lack of formalization in this domain, a Coloured Petri nets (CPNs) based random direction mobility model for specification, analysis and validation is presented in this paper for wireless communications. The proposed model does not suffer from any border effect or speed decay issues. It is important to mention that capturing the mobility patterns through CPN is challenging task in this type of the research. Further, an appropriate formalism of CPNs supported to analyze the future system dynamic status. Finally the formal model is evaluated with the state space analysis to show how predefined behavioral properties can be applied. In addition, proposed model is evaluated based on generated simulations to track origins of errors during debugging.
The research aims to analyze the structural meaning of mobility design on 'Furnitecture' with the works of Andrea Zittel. The study consists of the literature review and the analysis of Zittel's works. The framework for the analysis is divided into four steps: identification of visual forms/structure/function, analysis of the principles of delivering the concept of mobility, interpretation & synthesis of the relational meanings derived from the concepts of mobility, and evaluation of Zittel's tendency toward design/social background/design history, etc. Total fifteen cases are selected from Zittel's works, and each case is analyzed following the above steps. The finding shows that Zittel likes to play with geometrical forms, grid & modular system to create a minimum space for living equipped with critical furnishing. Secondly, Zittel's works deliver the concept of mobility by applying movability, adaptation, combination and transformation. Thirdly, through the concepts of mobility, Zittel reflects the ideas of high efficiency and functionalism, harmony with natural environment, search for liberty, simple & humble life and success of the designers of American modernism. Finally, it is found that modernism from the era of Bauhaus, utopian values derived from constructionism, utilitarianism inspired by Shakers and homestead act & mobile home/capsule unit suggested since 19th century in America mainly affect Zittel's works to reflect the dynamic concepts of mobility through the design of furnitecture.

This paper presents a dynamic model of a high mobility tracked vehicle composed of rigid bodies. Track is modeled as an extensible cable and the track tension between the sprocket and roller is calculated by the catenary equation. The ground force acting on a road wheel is calculated by the Bekker's pressure-sinkage relationship using the segmented wheel model. System equations of motion and constraint acceleration equations are derived in the joint coordinate space using the velocity transformation method.

In this paper, a computer software for dynamic analysis of a high mobility tracked vehicle with pre/post processor is developed. Model of a tracked vehicle is composed of chassis, turret, mount, gun, and road-wheel assembly. Track is modeled as an extensible cable and the track tensions are applied on the wheels as external forces. The system equations of motion and constraint acceleration equations are derived in the joint coordinate space using the velocity transformation method. The pre and post processors are developed using the Visual C++.
A numerical method is presented for the dynamic analysis of military tracked vehicles of high mobility. To compute the impulsive dynamic contact forces which occur when a vehicle passes on a ground obstacle, the track is modeled as the combination of elastic links interconected by pin joints. The mass of each track link, the elastic elongation of a track link between pin joints by the track tension, and the elastic spring effects on the upper and lower surfaces of each track link have been considered in the equations of motion. And the chassis, torsion bar arms, and road wheels of the vehicle are modeled as the rigid multi bodies connected with kinematic constraints. The contact positions and the contact forces between the road wheels and track, and the ground and the the track are simultaneously computed with the solution of the equations of motions of the vehicle consisting of the multibodies. The iterative scheme for the solution of the multi body dynamics of the tracked vehicle is presented and the numerical simulations are conducted.
