모사 합성 가솔린 제조 및 분무 특성 분석 연구 (Study on Lab-scale Production of Simulated e-Gasoline and Analysis of Spray Characteristics)

  • Many countries are striving to reduce carbon emissions with the goal of net zero by 2050. Accordingly, vehicles are rapidly being electrified to reduce greenhouse gases in the transportation sector. However, many organizations predict that internal combustion engines of LDV (light-duty vehicle) will exist even in 2050, and it is difficult to electrify aircraft and large ships in a short time. Therefore, synthetic fuel (i.e., e-Fuel) that can reduce carbon emissions and replace existing fossil fuels is in the spotlight. The e-Fuel refers to a fuel synthesized by using carbon obtained through various carbon capture technologies and green hydrogen produced by eco-friendly renewable energy. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the injection and spray characteristics of the simulated e-Gasoline. We mixed the hydrocarbon fuel components according to the composition ratio of the synthetic fuel produced based on the FT(Fischer-Tropsch) process. As a result of injection rate measurement, simulated e-Gasoline showed no significant difference in injection delay and injection period compared to standard gasoline. However, due to the low vapor pressure of the simulated e-Gasoline, the spray tip penetration (STP) was lower, and the size of spray droplets was larger than that of traditional gasoline.

원유가상승이 근해어업의 경영수지에 미치는 파급효과 분석 (Analysis of the Spillover Effects on the Management Profits of Offshore Fishery by the Fluctuations in the Crude Oil Prices)

  • The study, using the input-output analysis of 402 industrial sectors by Bank of Korea(BOK) and the resulting outcomes of price model, aims to evaluate the spillover effects the international fluctuations in crude oil prices have on the commodities prices and consequently, analyse the management and profitability of the offshore fisheries in Korea. At present, the fisher men are provided with tax-free oils for their fishing operations as specified under the Special Tax Treatment Control Law. However, the exhaustion of marine resources and new international fisheries agreements, which resulted in the loss of fishing grounds, made the stable catch even more unpredictable and the hike in the price of the international crude oil would have adverse effects on the fishing industry. The study revealed that the increasing rise in the price of crude oil would exert sweeping spillover effects on other industry sectors in general and accordingly, lead to a poorer performance by fisheries. The price spillover coefficients for the diesel oil was 0.6026, which would translate into the 42.6% increase in the prices of oil when the increase ratio of 73.3% for the base crude oil was applied based on the calculation methods employed in the study. This in turn increased the ratio of diesel oil required in the offshore fisheries from 23.3% to 16.6%, diminishing the ratio of current net profits to minus 2.0% from 4.2% otherwise. By fishing type, the Pair Trawl suffered current net profits loss most by ratio of minus 9.4% and other fisheries such as Coastal Stow Nets, Coastal Angling, Danish Sein also suffered ratio of 7% and more in the loss of current net profits. With the deteriorating fishing performance, coupled with the increasing international crude oil prices, it is urgently required that the authorities concerned deliberate in depth on such schemes as follows in efforts to secure stable fishing production. First, provision of large-scale storage facilities for oil is needed to timely adapt to the fluctuations in international crude oil prices. Secondly, in line with the stabilization of tax-free oil prices, duty levied on oils for fishing and tax collected from the refineries need to be tax-exempt. Thirdly, the beneficiaries from the provision of tax-free oil should be broadened, not limited to special fishing operation only. Fourth, investment in stabilization of the oil prices should be encouraged, possibly through funding from the formation of fisheries development funds underway.

  • The important parameters deciding the fluctuation of laser beam are smoothing capacitor, frequency and the characteristics of laser resonator. In this thesis, we control the fluctuation of $CO_2$ laser in realtime by changing Duty-Ratio of IGBT and switching frequency with fixed the smoothing capacitor to improve the fluctuation of laser beam. We detect the light on laser resonator using a CdS photo sensor to improve ripple factor of laser beam and feedback fluctuated signals refined by a band pass filter into the control circuit to stabilize fluctuation actively. There is much to be desired in the realtime controlling technique of the light on laser discharge tube in electrical signal. We propose switching control technique with microprocessor and photo sensing technique by controlling switch devices optimum operation and feedback signals detected by a photo sensor into the laser power supply in order to improve ripple factor of the $CO_2$ laser beam.

  • 본 논문에서는 F 컨버터의 능동형 PFC 시스템을 구성하고, 진력 변환시 입력 전류를 전원 전압과 동장연 정현파로 제이하는 동시에 출력 전압에 포함되는 고조파 등의 잡음을 제거하고 직류 출력 전압을 제어하기 위한 PWM-PFM 제어 기법을 제시하였다. 부하단에서 필요한 전압과 높은 전력 효율을 얻기 위하여 인버터 단계애서 전류 성형 제어를 실행한 후, 순방­향(forward) 컨버터에 의해 다시 직류 전압으로 변환시켜 부하단으로 출력한다. 입력 전압이 30[V]이교 승압 (boost) 인덕터가 1.1[mH]일 때 정격 출력은 전압 50[V], 전류1[A], 듀티비 0.5 이상으로 하여 부하 처항에 따른 전압 변화를 PWM-PFM 제어 기법을 이용하며 제어하였고, 전류 성형 기법을 이용하여 0.93획 역률로 고조파를 감쇠 및 개선하였다.

수도 품종간의 필요수량 차이에 관한 연구 (Studies on the Consumptive Use of Irrigated Water in Paddy Rice)

  • This experiment was conducted to find out the consumptive use of irrigated water for calculation of duty water in paddy rice. Tall statured Japonica rice varieties, Nongbaek (early), Jinheung (medium) and Akibare (late), and short statured Tongil typed varieties, Josaeng Tongil(early), Suweon 264 (medium) and Suweon 258(late) were planted on the experimental farm of Kon-Kuk University in 1979. The results obtained in this study were as follows: 1. During the experimental period, the daily mean temperature was almost similar, the relative humidity was higher as much as 2.8%, the amount of rain fall was 100mm less and the pan evaporation was 70mm less compared with those of 30 years average, respectively. 2. The paddy soil was silty loam, which was suitable for the rice cultivation. 3. Varietal differences were find out for plant height, culm length, number of tillers, number of panicles, heading date, matured grain ratio, 1000-grain weight and rough rice yield. This difference might he the cause of varietal difference of the consumptive use of irrigated water during the rice growing period. 4. The evapotranspiration was gradually increased after transplanting and showed the peak from booting to heading stage of rice varieties. The average evapotranspiration through the whole growing period was 5.67-5. 80mm/day for tall statured Japonica varieties, and 5.99-6. 39mm/day for short statured Tongil typed varieties. 5. The ratio of evapotranspiration to pan-evaporation through the whole growing period was 1.49-1.50 for Japonica varieties, and 1.60-1.66 for Tongil typed varies. 6. Average amount of percolation in paddy field was 3. 62mm/day through the whole growing period of rice plant. 7. K-value in Blaney & Criddle formula was 0.94-0.98 for Japonica varieties and 1.02-1.08 for Tongil typed varieties, and coefficient consumptive water use (Kc-value) was 0.95-1.02 for Japonica varieties and 1.04-1.12 for Tongil typed varieties in this study. DSP를 이용한 단상 PFC의 설계 (The Design of Single Phase PFC using a DSP)

  • 본 논문에서는 DSP(TMS320F2812)를 사용하여 단상 역률개선을 디지털로 설계하였다. 이러한 승압형 역률개선 컨버터를 디지털로 구현하기 위하여 DSP는 컨버터의 입력전압과 인덕터전류, 컨버터의 출력전압이 필요하며 이를 DSP 내부에 있는 12비트 A/D변환기로 구현하였다. 승압을 위한 스위칭소자인 FET가 ON/OFF 될 때 심한 고주파 노이즈와 스위칭 리플이 발생한다. DSP에 의해 구현시 어느 시점에서 A/D 변환을 시작할지 결정하는 것은 대단히 중요하며 스위칭 노이즈가 발생하지 않는 곳에서 A/D 변환을 할 필요가 있다. PWM의 시비율(duty ratio)은 약 5 %에서 95 %까지 가변적이기 때문에 A/D 변환의 고정된 시작점을 찾을 수는 없다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 25 us 마다 PWM의 ON/OFF 폭을 미리 예측한 후 타이머를 이용하여 A/D 변환을 하도록 하였다. 실험 결과들로부터 광범위한 입력전압에 대하여 약 0.99의 역률과 80 Vdc 출력 전압에 대한 리플이 약 5 Vpp임을 확인하였다. 또한 윈도우즈 Xp 환경 하에서 수행되는 응용프로그램을 작성하여 원격에서 단상 PFC 컨버터의 각종 파라미터들과 전압 및 전류 제어기의 이득들을 모니터링하며 원격제어가 가능함을 보여 상용화의 가능성과 유용성을 제시하였다.

전류자극 및 전기장 처리가 현미 발아에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Electric Current Stimuli and High-Voltage Electric Field Treatments on Brown Rice Germination)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of electric current stimuli and high-voltage electric field treatments on brown rice germination. The brown rice stimulated by electrical current stimuli, functional electrical stimuli of a pulse type, and high-voltage electric field treatments were observed (Type I, II and III). Treatment Type I was a method of semi-soaking brown rice with electric current stimuli of 0.13 V/cm, 0.19 V/cm, and 0.25 V/cm into Petri-dishes for 72 hours. Type II was a method of semi-soaking brown rice with functional electrical stimuli of a pulse type(DC 1 V, 1 Hz, 5%, and duty cycles of 5%, 20%, and 35%) into Petri-dishes for 72 hours. Type III was a method of water-soaking with high-voltage electric field treatments for 60 hours. High-voltage electric field treatments at 15 kV/cm were also conducted for 2.5 min, 7.5 min, and 10 min, respectively. The germination rate and the sprout growth of brown rice germinated by electric current stimuli with 0.13 V/cm, 0.19 V/cm, and 0.25 V/cm were increased by about 10-15% compared with those of the control group. The germination rate and the sprout growth of brown rice germinated by functional electrical stimuli of pulse type(DC 1 V, 1 Hz, 5% duty cycle) were increased by about 10∼15% compared to those of the control group. Also, the best effective treatment among high-voltage electric field treatments was the 10 min group at 15 kV/cm. The germination rate and the sprout growth of brown rice germinated by this treatment of 10 min at 15 kV/cm were increased by about 10∼20% compared to those of the control group. The treatments of electric current stimuli and high-voltage electric field accelerated the germination rate and sprout growth of brown rice by about 10∼15% compared to those of the control group.

주기적으로 분극 반전된 MgO:LiNbO3를 이용한 리지형 광도파로 파장가변 소자 제작 및 특성 (Fabrication and Characterization of Wavelength Conversion Device with Periodically Poled Ridge-type Waveguide in MgO:LiNbO3)

  • MgO가 첨가된 z-cut $LiNbO_3$를 이용하여 주기적으로 분극반전된 리지광도파로(Ridge-type Waveguide)를 제작하였으며 이를 적용하여 녹색광원 소자를 구현시 리지광도파로 높이 변화량과 분극반전주기비 변화량에 따른 이론적 결과와 실험적 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 이러한 비교분석을 위해 새로운 측정시스템을 구성하였으며, 이를 적용한 소자 측정 결과 중심파장은 1067.45 nm, 파장변환효율은 90.7%/$Wcm^2$ 및 파장변환효율곡선의 반치폭은 0.17 nm임을 확인하였다. 또한, 실험값과 이론값과의 비교결과 분극반전주기와 파장변환효율곡선의 반치폭 계산 오차는 각각 0.016 ${\mu}m$와 0.01 nm로 이론값이 실험값을 잘 예측함을 확인하였다.

PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF GRASS SILAGE WITH WHOLE-CROP CEREAL SILAGE FOR GROWING BEEF CATTLE

  • A study was conducted to investigate the effect of different inclusion levels of urea treated whole-crop wheat silage (UWCWS) in grass silage based rations on the performance of growing beef cattle. The winter wheat (variety, Riband) was harvested (in the summer of 1991) at a dry matter proportion of 520 g/kg and treated with feed grade urea at the rate of 37 kg/tonne crop dry matter and preserved in a heavy duty plastic bag using a silo press. The urea treated whole crop wheat silage (UWCWS) was mixed with grass silage to replace 0.00 (S100), 0.33 (S33) and 0.67 (S67) parts of the forage dry matter and fed ad libitum in a cross over design to 18 Simmental X Holstein Friesian growing beef animals. Two energy sources {one high in starch, rolled barley (RB) and one high in digestible fibre, sugar beet pulp (SBP)} were fed to supply sufficient energy for the efficient use of nitrogen by the rumen micro-organisms. The data on DMIF (dry matter intake of forage), TDMI (total dry matter intake), DLWG (daily live weight gain), FCR (feed conversion ratio) were recorded and faecal samples were collected to determine the digestibility coefficients. Results revealed that with the inclusion of UWCW in the animals' diets the DMI of the forage was significantly increased (p < 0.05). The highest DMIF was found in the treatment "S33" ($6.28{\pm}0.25kg$) where 67% of the silage dry matter was replaced with the UWCW and the lowest value for DMIF was observed in the control treatment ($5.03{\pm}0.23kg$). The DLWG did not differ significantly between the treatments. However, treatment "S100" showed a trend towards a superior DLWG. Feed conversion ratio in the control treatment differed significantly from "S67" and "S33". The addition of the UWCW in the animals' diet resulted in the lower FCR There was no effect of type of energy supplement on any aspect of performance either overall or in interaction with grass silage: UWCWS ratio. The regression and correlation coefficients for DMIF (r = 5.22 + 0.0184x*), DLWG (r = $1.04-0.00086x^{NS}$) and FCR (r = 4.78 = 0.022x*) on the inclusion of UWCW in the diet were calculated. The effect of the inclusion of UWCW on the overall digestibility coefficients was significant (p < 0.05). The addition of the UWCWS in the diet decreased the digestibility of the DM, OM, ADF and NFE but effect on the protein digestibility was non significant. The results of present study suggests that a DLWG slightly over 1 kg can be achieved with UWCW during the store period (period in which animal performance targets are low especially during winter) and the prediction of ME was overestimated as the high intake of DM did not reflect in improved animal performance.

  • In photovoltaic system, the characteristics of photovoltaic module such as open circuit voltage and short circuit current will be changed because of cell temperature and solar radiation. Therefore, the boost converter of a PV system connects between the output of photovoltaic system and DC link capacitor of grid connected inverter as controlling duty ratio for maximum power point tracking(MPPT). This paper shows the dynamic characteristics of the boost converter by comparing single-loop and two-loop control algorithm using both analog and digital control. Both proposed compensation methods have been verified with computer simulation to demonstrate the validity of the proposed control schemes.
