이중에너지 방법을 이용한 X선 영상법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the X-Ray Imaging using Dusl Energy Method)

  • The dual-energy technique win used to separate the bone-only and tissue-only images from the conventional chest images. The equivalent thickness of the basic materials are estimated from low and high energy images of a given complex materials using the attenuation coefficient of ma serial componens. We showed that the image quality of dual-energy imaging method can be influenced by the ponlinearity and noise components of system and spectrum distributions The quantitative analysis of Calcium component was performed by dual-energy technique and it is shown that the concentration of the Calcium could be accurately estimated within 5% error range.

  • Comparative study on a low cost sustaining driver with single and dual path energy recovery circuits for plasma display panels (PDPs) is shown in this paper. The cost of PDPs has been still high and about half of the cost has been occupied by driving circuit. A simple sustaining driver is proposed to reduce the cost and size of driving circuit. The proposed driver has small number of devices and reactive components and there are two methods for charging and discharging PDPs such as single and dual path energy recovery circuits. A comparative research on two-types of energy recovery path is practiced to evaluate performance. As a result, the dual energy recovery path circuit has low power consumption, low surge current and high performance. To verify those results, experiment will be shown with 42-inch HD panel.

Dual-hop Routing Protocol for Improvement of Energy Consumption in Layered WSN Sensor Field

  • This paper proposes to increase the node energy efficiency, which rapidly drops during the transmission of L-TEEN (Layered Threshold sensitive Energy Efficient sensor Network protocol), using the method of DL-TEEN (Dual-hop Layered TEEN). By introducing dual-hop method in the data transmission, the proposed single-hop method for short-range transmission and multi-hop transmission method between the cluster heads for remote transmission was introduce. By introducing a partial multi-hop method in the data transmission, a single-hop method for short range transmission method between the cluster heads for remote transmission was introduces. In the proposed DL-TEEN, the energy consumption of cluster head for remote transmission reduces and increases the energy efficiency of sensor node by reducing the transmission distance and simplifying the transmission routine for short-range transmission. As compared the general L-TEEN, it was adapted to a wider sensor field.

  • This paper proposes to increase the efficiency of energy in nodes, which rapidly drops during the transmission of the Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH), through the use of dual-hop layered application in the sensor field. Along with introducing the dual-hop method in the data transmission, the proposed single-hop method for short-range transmission and multi-hop transmission method between the cluster heads for remote transmission were also introduced. Additionally, by introducing a partial multi-hop method in the data transmission, a single-hop method for short range transmission method between the cluster heads for remote transmission was used. In the proposed DL-LEACH, the energy consumption of the cluster head for remote transmission reduced, as well as increased the energy efficiency of the sensor node by reducing the transmission distance and simplifying the transmission route for short-range transmission. 듀얼채널을 적용한 반도체공정용 칠러의 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Semiconductor Process Chiller for Dual Channel)

  • Excessive heat occurs during semiconductor manufacturing process. Thus, precise control of temperature is required to maintain constant chamber-temperature and also wafer-temperature in the chamber. Compared to an industrial chiller, semiconductor chiller's power consumption is very high due to its continuous operation for a year. Considering the high power consumption, it is necessary to develop an energy efficient chiller by optimizing operation control. Therefore, in this study, a semiconductor chiller is experimentally investigated to suggest energy-saving direction by conducting load change, temperature rise and fall and control precision experiments. The experimental study shows the cooling capacity of dual-channel chiller rises over 30% comparing to the conventional chiller. The time and power consumption in the temperature rising experiment are 43 minutes and 8.4 kWh, respectively. The control precision is the same as ${\pm}1^{\circ}C$ at $0^{\circ}C$ in any cases. However, it appears that the dual channel's control precision improves to ${\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$ when the setting temperature is over $30^{\circ}C$.

  • Structural control through integration of passive damping devices within the building structure has been increasingly implemented internationally in the last years and has proven to be a most promising strategy for earthquake safety. In the present paper an alternative configuration of an innovative energy dissipation mechanism that consists of slender tension only bracing members with closed loop and a hysteretic damper is investigated in its dynamic behavior. The implementation of the adaptable dual control system, ADCS, in frame structures enables a dual function of the component members, leading to two practically uncoupled systems, i.e., the primary frame, responsible for the normal vertical and horizontal forces and the closed bracing-damper mechanism, for the earthquake forces and the necessary energy dissipation. Three representative international earthquake motions of differing frequency contents, duration and peak ground acceleration have been considered for the numerical verification of the effectiveness and properties of the SDOF systems with the proposed ADCS-configuration. The control mechanism may result in significant energy dissipation, when the geometrical and mechanical properties, i.e., stiffness and yield force of the integrated damper, are predefined. An optimum damper ratio, DR, defined as the ratio of the stiffness to the yield force of the hysteretic damper, is proposed to be used along with the stiffness factor of the damper's- to the primary frame's stiffness, in order for the control mechanism to achieve high energy dissipation and at the same time to prevent any increase of the system's maximum base shear and relative displacements. The results are summarized in a preliminary design methodology for ADCS.

  • The effect of electrode charging on the ion energy distribution (IED) was investigated in the dual-frequency capacitively coupled plasma source which was powered of 100 MHz RF at the top electrode and 400 kHz bias on the bottom electrode. The charging property was analyzed with the distortion of the measured current and voltage waveforms. The capacitance and the resistance of electrode sheath can change the property of ion and electron charging on the electrode so it is sensitive to the plasma density which is controlled by the main power. The ion energy distribution was estimated by equivalent circuit model, being compared with the measured distribution obtained from the ion energy analyzer. Results show that the low frequency bias power changes effectively the low energy population of ion in the energy distribution.

초임계 이산화탄소 이중 브레이튼 사이클 개발 연구 (Research on the Development of the Supercritical CO2 Dual Brayton Cycle)

  • 초임계 이산화탄소 사이클은 소형화 및 효율 향상에 대한 잠재력 때문에 최근 관심이 증가하고 있으며, 원자력, 태양열(CSP) 및 화력 발전 분야에서 활발히 연구되고 있다. 이와 관련하여, 본 논문에서는 한국에너지기술연구원(KIER)의 초임계 이산화탄소 동력 사이클 연구 내용과 현황을 소개하였다. 1 단계 연구에서는 단순 초임계 브레이튼 사이클 실험 루프를 제작 및 시운전 하였으며, 현재 진행중인 2 단계 연구에서는 두개의 터빈과 두개의 재생기를 갖는 초임계 이중(dual) 브레이튼 사이클을 설계 및 제작하고 있다. 최적 설계를 위한 초임계 이중 브레이튼 사이클 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 결과, 본 연구에서 고려한 조건하에서, 사이클의 순출력을 극대화시키는 설계 변수가 존재함을 확인하였다.

  • A new plasma display panel sustaining driver using single side sustaining technique with the dual resonant method is proposed. Since this circuit enables to reduce switches in energy recovery circuit with keeping voltage stress like that of prior circuit, it can be low cost circuit comparing with a conventional driver. To integrate sustain function into one side with single power source in the driver, a charge pump method is adopted to make negative sustaining voltage and achieve dual resonant energy recovery on sustaining modes.

에너지 변조 필터로 구현한 이중 에너지 콘빔 CT의 에너지 스펙트럼 평가 연구 (Analysis of Beam Hardening of Modulation Layers for Dual Energy Cone-beam CT)

  • 이중 에너지 콘빔 CT는 원자번호가 다른 두 물질을 구분해낼 수 있다는 장점을 가진다. 이중 에너지 콘빔 CT를 구현하는 여러 가지 방법 중, 에너지 변조 필터(modulation layer)에 기반한 이중 에너지 콘빔 CT의 원리는 x-선 발생창의 절반을 구리와 같은 에너지 변조 필터로 차단하면, 차단되지 않은 곳에서는 원래의 관전압에 해당하는 x-선 스펙트럼이 발생하고 에너지 변조 필터로 가려진 부분에서는 저에너지 x-선이 감소된 x-선 스펙트럼이 발생하여 한 번의 스캔에서 두 가지 스펙트럼을 획득할 수 있다는 것이다. 우리는 에너지 변조 필터를 이용한 이중 에너지 콘빔 CT 구현의 가능성을 평가하기 위하여 다양한 두께의 에너지 변조 필터에 의해 생성되는 x-선 스펙트럼을 몬테칼로 전산모사를 이용하여 획득하였다. 전산모사 결과를 검증하기 위하여 동일한 콘빔 CT 시스템에서 CdTe 검출기를 이용하여 50~100 kVp에 대하여 스펙트럼을 측정하였고, 80 kVp 관전압에 대하여 실험과 전산모사로 획득한 스펙트럼의 평균 에너지가 유사함을 확인하였다. 또한 에너지 변조 필터의 두께를 2.0 mm로 하였을 때 스펙트럼의 평균 에너지는 80과 120 kVp에 대하여 각각 1.67, 1.52배까지 증가함을 확인하였다. 따라서 에너지 변조 필터를 사용하면 하나의 x-선 발생장치를 이용하여 가상의 이중 에너지 선원을 구현할 수 있음을 확인하였다.
