주행중 운전자세 측정을 통한 주행조건 영향 분석 (Effects of Driving Environment on Driver's Posture)

  • Automotive occupant packaging has been a part of main ergonomics interests, especially, in terms of driver's posture. Previous research on driver's posture has mainly focused on the initial optimal posture for driving sedans. However, customer preferences on cars are shifting from sedans to RV and automobile manufacturing companies seek to understand temporal changes in drivers' posture according to driving environment. So the main aim of this study was to develop a driver's posture measurement system during driving and investigate casual changes due to duration, car type, traffic flow. Four male drivers participated in the experiments during one week. It was shown that considerable changes in their postures were caused with respect to driving environment, which implies that not only static optimal postures but their dynamic changes should be taken into consideration for proper design and evaluation of interior packaging. The research is expected to help packaging designers understand human drivers so as to improve their comfort.

  • 스마트 모빌리티는 차세대 친환경 이동수단으로 각광 받고 있어 시장이 매해 급성장 하고 있다. 그러나 전기를 동력으로 사용하는 기기 특성상 이용자의 몸무게나 주행 환경에 따라 모터 및 배터리는 제조사에서 표기하는 성능과 실제 성능과는 큰 차이를 보여 이용자에 따라 기기 이용 시 권장되는 주행 기준점이 없어 본래의 동작에 과부하 발생 빈도가 높아져 기기의 고장 및 파손이 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이용자의 주행 상태를 측정 후 제조사 측에서 제공하는 권장 주행과는 별도로 실제 주행 시의 맞춤 권장 주행 안내 및 과부하 주행 상황 알림을 제공하는 어플리케이션을 설계하여 스마트 모빌리티 기기의 고장 및 파손은 물론 이용자의 안전까지 확보하고자 한다.

LMI-based $H_{\infty}$ Controller Design for a Line of Sight Stabilization System

  • This paper is concerned with the design of LMI based H$_{\infty}$ controller for a line of sight(LOS) stabilization system. This system which is even linearized to analyse nonlinear characteristic has also a lot of uncertainties. In addition, the angular velocity disturbance from the vehicle's driving deteriorates the stabilized LOS, main purpose of this system. In case of fast driving, particularly, all components which are ignored and skipped to make mathematical modelling act as the uncertainties against this system. The robustness against these uncertainties has been also continuously demanded including the well tracking performance for the target. Therefore, this paper employed H$_{\infty}$ control theory to satisfy these problems and LMI method to make suitable controller with few constraints for this system. Although this system matrix doesn't have full rank, this method make it possible to design H$_{\infty}$ controller and deal with R and S matrices for reducing its order. Consequently, this paper shows that the re-analyses on the real disturbances are achieved and the proposed robust controller for them has better disturbance attenuation and tracking performance. This paper contributes the applicability of reduced order H$_{\infty}$ controller to real system by handling LMI..

공작 기계 벨트 구동계의 동적 해석 (Dynamic analysis on belt-drive system of machine tools)

  • The needs of ultraprecision machine tools, which manufacture and machine the high precision parts used in computers, semiconductors and othe rprecise machines, have been increased recentrly. So it is important to design the driving parts of the ultraprecision machine tools which affect significantly on the performance of them. In this paper, the dynamic analyses on the belt-drive system were studied. The correlational equations between the acoustic natural frequency and the tension of belt were derived by experiments. The dynamic delections while the dynamic loads on the motor system changed were analyzed by the finite element analysis. The nonlinear characteristics of the bearings on the dynamic performance was studied and the belt connecting the motor to the spindle of a machine tool was modeled by the truss element and the beam element.

고속 운전조건을 고려한 하이브리드 자동차용 ISG 모터 방열설계 및 해석 평가 (Thermal Design and Analysis Evaluation of ISG Motor for Hybrid Electric Vehicles considering High-speed Driving Condition)

  • Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) system improves the fuel economy of hybrid electric vehicles by using idle stop and go function, and regenerative braking system. To obtain the high performance and durability of ISG motor under continuously high load condition, the motor needs to properly design the cooling system (cooling fan and cooling structure). In this study, we suggested the enhanced design by modifying the thermal design of the ISG motor and then analyzed the improvement of the cooling performance under high-speed condition and generating mode by CFD simulation. The temperatures at the coil and the magnet of the enhanced model were decreased by about $4^{\circ}C$ and $6^{\circ}C$, respectively, compared to those of the conventional model. Therefore, we verified the cooling performance enhancement of the novel thermal design in the case of core loss increment due to the higher speed condition.

  • Passive suspensions with fixed design constants are very restrictive in the inherent suspension problem, the trade-off between the ride quality and the suspension travel. Active suspensions are used to solve some drawbacks of passive suspensions. In this paper, we propose a controller design for vehicle active suspensions considering variable driving conditions. Our controller estimates the current driving conditions by detecting the road frequencies gotten from Fourier Transform and decides which factor must be emphasized between the ride quality and the suspension travel. In one case of focusing on the ride quality, we use the skyhook control law and in the other case of focusing on the suspension travel, the double skyhook control law is used. The control law modified by various road situations outputs the reference force value the electro-hydraulic actuator in active suspension system must generate. To track the reference force, we adopt the sliding control law which is very useful in controlling the nonlinear system like the electro-hydraulic actuator.

디젤엔진을 탑재한 짚차량의 2분할 플라이휠에 관한 연구 (A study on dual mass flywheel for a jeep vehicle with Diesel Engine)

  • This paper reals with the structure and function of duel mass flywheel. Damping effects of engine rotational fluctuation are compared with those of pre-damper clutch and duel mass flywheel and driven- system behavior is estimated engine idle r.p.m. The reason of gear rattle noise is higher in summer than winter and driving longer period than initial driving is due to affection by drag torque changing. The above-contents can be used on the design of clutch system and transmission matching including engine and duel mass flywheel.

  • 본 논문은 시뮬레이션을 기반으로 자체 구동 롤러 컨베이어 물류시스템의 전력 효율을 분석하는 연구이다. 물류 시스템의 전력 효율 향상은 온실 가스 배출과 물류 비용을 감소시키는 이점을 가져온다. 자체 구동 롤러 컨베이어는 제품이 접근할 때에만 구동이 된다. 따라서 자체 구동 롤러 컨베이어 기반 시스템은 연속 구동 롤러 컨베이어 시스템에 비해 더 적은 전력을 소비한다. 본 논문에서는 DEVS(이산 사건 기반 시스템) 기반의 시뮬레이션 시스템을 설계하고 자체 구동 롤러와 연속 구동 롤러컨베이어 모델을 구축하였다. 설계된 시뮬레이션시스템과 컨베이어 모델의 검증과 확인을 위해 우리는 실험 환경에 대응하는 물류 모델을 모델링하고 모델과 실제 시스템간의 비교를 하였다. 본 연구의 주된 목적은 시뮬레이션 방법을 사용하여 자체구동 롤러 컨베이어 기반 물류 시스템의 전력 소비의 이점을 설명하는 것이다.

  • 운전면허시험을 응시하는 사람들은 면허취소 등으로 재시험을 보는 사람들도 있지만, 대부분 자동차를 운전하기 위해 최초로 운전을 배워 시험을 응시하는 사람들이 대부분이다. 자동차 운전은 생명과 직결되는 것으로 초기의 정확한 운전습관이 무엇보다 중요하다. 특히 사회에 첫 진출을 하면서 운전면허를 취득하는 사람들이 많기 때문에 처음 운전을 배울 때 객관적이고 공정한 기준에 의해 올바른 운전능력을 평가받아 면허를 취득하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 본 논문을 통해 구현하고자하는 시스템은 효율적이면서도 공정하고 정확한 자동화 채점을 통해 양질의 운전자를 배출할 수 있는 S/W 설계 및 주요 기능들에 대해 고찰, 제안하였다. 이를 통해 자동채점 운전면허 시스템 개선을 제안하여, 교통사고를 예방하고 올바른 운전을 통해 교통사고를 줄이는데 목적이 있다.
