연속 가변 댐퍼에 의한 반능동 현가장치의 고 자유도 제어기 (High Tunable Control Algorithm for Semi-active Suspension by a Normal Type CDC Damper)

  • This paper proposes CDC (Continuous Damping Control) algorithm and verifies in multi-body dynamic vehicle. In order to distinguish a road profile on driving, waviness calculated by the filtered vertical-accelerations of sprung and unsprung masses is introduced. Sky-hook control is used at a low waviness road and constant damping level control is used at a high waviness road, where the hard damping level is determined by waviness, roll rate, acceleration, and deceleration. The damping levels of ride, anti-roll, anti-squat, and anti-dive modules are calculated by tuning parameters which is dependent upon vehicle velocity. Therefore this high tunable algorithm is useful to improve the ride and handling performance under various driving conditions. In the simulations, tire and dampers are modelled by SWIFT (Short Wavelength Intermediate Frequency Tire) model and 1st order delay model, and results are compared with conventional damper's.

  • Although the switched reluctance motor (SRM) has a several advantages such as simple magnetic structure, robustness, wide range of speed characteristics and simple driving, it has a considerable inherent torque ripple and speed variation duet to the driving characteristics of pulse current waveform and the nonlinear inductance profile. The high torque ripple and speed variation inhibits wide application. The minimization of the torque ripple is very important in high performance servo drive applications, which require smooth operation with minimum torque pulsations. This paper presents the new SRM torque modeling technique for the control of instantaneous torque. The SRM is modeled by the database of torque profiles for every small variation in currents and rotor angles, which is inferred from the several measured data by the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference technique. Simulation results demonstrating the effectiveness of proposed torque modeling technique are presented.

  • 디스플레이 광원으로 많이 사용되고 있는 EL(Electro-Luminescence)은 특히 면광원 형태로 광고용 판넬에 많이 이용되고 있다. 면광원 EL을 최상의 조건으로 구동하기 위해서는 EL의 부하특성을 알아야 할 필요가 있으며, 본 논문에서는 광고용 판넬의 광원으로 사용되는 EL의 부하특성을 분석하기 위한 모델링을 수행하고 이를 기반으로 EL 시트를 구동하기 위한 인버터의 설계를 수행한다. 얻어진 부하 모델을 통해 인버터의 토폴로지 선정은 물론 구동 설계 파라미터를 제시하고, 시뮬레이션 및 실험을 통하여 설계된 EL 구동 시스템의 타당성과 그 구동 특성을 검증한다.

  • This paper presents the optimal design reducing the rotor inertia in order to improve the driving characteristic of BLDCM for robots. The parallel Genetic Algorithm is performed to rotor inertia minimization in optimal design. Also, velocity profile with finite jerk method is introduced to reduce vibration of BLDCM. As a result, a torque characteristic is same although rotor inertia is reduced 2/3 compared with prototype model. And, maximum vibration value is reduced by 63.4[%1 according to apply finite jerk.

Practical Surface Sculpting Method for the Fabrication of Predefined Curved Structures using Focused Ion Beam

  • Surface erosion using focused ion beam irradiation is the most promising technology for the realization of micro/nanofabrication. However, accurate fabrication of predefined structures is still challenging. This article introduces a single step surface driving method to fabricated predefined curved structures. The previously reported multi step surface driving method (MSDM) has been modified so that a single ion dose profile can be used instead of multiple ion dose profiles. Experimental realization of the method is presented with the fabrication of predefined curved surfaces as well as reference to surface propagation theory. For the purpose of verification, simulations are performed on the basis of a sound mathematical model.

  • This paper presents a stochastic model predictive control (SMPC) for stop maneuver of autonomous vehicles considering perception uncertainty of stopped vehicle. The vehicle longitudinal motion should achieve both driving comfortability and safety. The comfortable stop maneuver can be performed by mimicking acceleration profile of human driving pattern. In order to implement human-like stop motion, we propose a reference safe inter-distance and velocity model for the longitudinal control system. The SMPC is used to track the reference model which contains the position uncertainty of preceding vehicle as a chance constraint. We conduct simulation studies of deceleration scenarios against stopped vehicle in urban environment. The test results show that proposed SMPC can execute comfortable stop maneuver and guarantee safety simultaneously.

트랙터 최종구동축용 복합유성기어 방식 감속기의 Micro-geometry를 이용한 전달 오차 및 치면 하중 분포 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Transmission Error and Tooth Load Distribution using Micro-geometry of Compound Planetary Gear Reducer for Tractor Final Driving Shaft)

  • This study was to develop a simulation model of a compound planetary gear reducer for the final driving shaft using a gear analysis software (KISSsoft, Version 2017, KISSsoft AG, Switzerland). The aim of this study is to analyze transmission error and the tooth load distribution through micro-geometry using the simulation model. The tip and root relief were modified with Micro-geometry in the profile direction, and crowning was modified with Micro-geometry in the lead direction. The transmission error was analyzed using the PPTE (Peak to Peak Transmission Error) value, and the tooth load distribution was analyzed for the concentrated stress on the tooth surface. As a result of modifying tip and relief in the profile direction, the transmission error was reduced up to 40.7%. In the case of modifying crowning in the lead direction, the tooth load was more evenly distributed than before and decreased the stress on the tooth surface. After modifying the profile direction for the 1st and 2nd planetary gear train, the bending and contact safety factors were increased by 31.7% and 17%, and 18.3% and 12.5% respectively. Moreover, the bending and safety factors after modifying lead direction were increased by 59.5% and 32.7%, respectively for the 1st planetary gear train, and 59.6% and 43.6%, respectively for the 2nd planetary gear train. In future studies, the optimal design of a compound planetary gear reducer for the final driving shaft is needed considering both the transmission error and tooth load distribution.

  • 본 논문에서는 퍼지제어를 이용하여 사람의 얼굴을 추적하는 카메라를 구동하는 시스템을 구현한다. 팬틸트(Pan Tilt)구조를 가진 카메라 시스템은 먼저 영상을 PC로 보내고 PC에서는 추적알고리즘에 의한 추적 좌표를 다시 카메라에 전송하면 카메라는 목표 얼굴을 실시간으로 추적하는 방식으로 되어 있다. 카메라를 구동하는 2축의 스텝모터는 PC에서 전송된 목표 좌표로 최대한 빠르고 또한 부드럽게 제어되어야 한다. 이를 위해서 본 논문에서는 퍼지제어기를 제안하여 구동용 가·감속 주파수를 만들고 두 축의 스텝모터를 빠르면서도 부드럽게 제어한다 그리고 본 제안 방식의 효율성을 검증하기 위하여 실험 장치를 제작하고 실험을 수행한다.

VEHICLE ELECTRIC POWER SIMULATOR FOR OPTIMIZING THE ELECTRIC CHARGING SYSTEM

  • The vehicle electric power system, which consists of two major components: a generator and a battery, which have to provide numerous electrical and electronic systems with enough electrical energy. A detailed understanding of the characteristics of the electric power system, electrical load demands, and the driving environment such as road, season, and vehicle weight is required when the capacities of the generator and the battery are to be determined for a vehicle. An easy-to-use and inexpensive simulation program may be needed to avoid the over/under design problem of the electric power system. A vehicle electric power simulator is developed in this study. The simulator can be utilized to determine the optimal capacities of generators and batteries. To improve the expandability and easy usage of the simulation program, the program is organized in modular structures, and is run on a PC. Empirical electrical models of various generators and batteries, and the structure of the simulation program are presented. For executing the vehicle electric power simulator, data of engine speed profile and electric loads of a vehicle are required, and these data are obtained from real driving conditions. In order to improve the accuracy of the simulator, numerous driving data of a vehicle are logged and analyzed.

WEAP 프로그램을 이용한 U형 널말뚝의 항타관입성 해석 (Driveability Analysis of U-type Sheet Pile using WEAP Program)

  • 진동해머를 이용한 널말뚝 시공은 소음에 민감한 도심지 굴착 공사에 유용하다. 그러나 널말뚝의 진동-항타 시공시 항타관입성에 대한 연구는 거의 수행된 적이 없다. 이 연구에서는 국내에서 많이 사용되고 있는 U형 널말뚝을 진동해머를 이용하여 시공할 때 여러 가지 조건에 따른 항타관입성을 WEAP 프로그램을 이용하여 분석하였다. 해석결과 널말뚝의 관입속도는 N값이 클수록 느려지며, 20m 이내로 시공되는 경우 단면적이 클수록 느려지는 것으로 나타났다.
