A fast, accurate model for calculating roll gap variables are critical to the implementation of computer based automation systems for cold rolling mills. Based on the work of Fleck and Johnson, rollgap simulator with non-circular arc model was developed using the influence function. This developed model is capable of predicting values of force, torque and slip which can be applied over the wide range of rolling conditions including cold rolling/DR/temper mill with high execution speed. Friction coefficient was obtained as a function of operation conditions through analyzing measured data. After combination of rollgap simulator with production strategy, draft schedule for No.3 RCM (Reversible Cold Rolling Mill) in Incheon works of Dongbu Steel was developed. This draft schedule will be installed in the setup computer of No.3 RCM replacing old Hitachi model.

As the global demand for satellite IoT services using small satellites increases, interest in their frequency requirements has also increased. Consequently, International Telecommunication Union Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R) preparatory studies for WRC-23 include AI 1.18, which considers new frequency allocations for narrowband mobile satellites. This agenda item was issued in accordance with Resolution 284 (WRC-19), and contributions and reviews by government and satellite operators are underway at ITU-R SG4 WP4C with the aim of completing the study in 2023. Resolution 248 (WRC-19) considers the conditions for transmission of candidate bands and satellites and terminals for narrowband mobile satellite, and all contributions should satisfy narrowband mobile satellite system characteristics parameters within these conditions. However, among the current transmission specifications, there are several views on the exact definition of satellite e.i.r.p., and the derivation schedule of characteristic system parameters for the study is slower than that of the original work schedule. The goal of this paper is to examine the outline of WRC-23 AI 1.18 and the main content of Resolution 284 (WRC-19) and to determine the status of studies related to WRC-23 AI 1.18. The ITU-R's study on this agenda includes updating work schedules, developing the draft required spectrum and system characteristics parameter reports/recommendations, developing draft CPM reports, and examining the various views of transmission specifications in Resolution 284 (WRC-19). Focusing on candidate bands in Region 1 (Europe and Africa) and Region 2 (America), the current status of use in Korea is investigated and future countermeasures in Korea are investigated. In addition, we would like to examine the trend of narrowband mobile satellite through satellite frequency and service status and planning of satellite IoT operators, such as EchoStar, Omnispace, and Sateliot that are participating in the ITU-R study.

Objectives This is one of the manuals of East-West integrative medicine which was created by the committee on integrative medicine of Chung-Yeon Korean Medicine Hospital. The purpose of this manual is to support clinical decision-making and communication between Korean and western medical staff in a Korean medicine hospital during the rehabilitation of patients after knee surgery. Methods The draft was made by two rehabilitation specialists in Korean medicine. After a rehabilitation specialist in western medicine reviewed the draft and exchanged their ideas, a revised version that reflects the goal of consultation was made. Then the committee agreed to adopt the manuals through the process of review and feedback in addition to face-to-face discussions. Results This manual describes clinical decision-making for rehabilitation after arthroscopic partial meniscus resection, meniscus refixation, reconstruction of anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments. Therefore, it contains the schedule of rehabilitation treatment by the surgical technique, general goal of the rehabilitation by phase, guide for patients and postoperative infection management. Conclusions Despite some limitations, this manual has significance as the first example of a decision-making protocol suggestion for East-West integrative rehabilitation treatment after a knee surgery in one medical institution.

In the face of this bewildering array of approaches to the problem, in 1997, the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws (NCCUSL) undertook to produce a new uniform law that would bring some order and consistency to state legislation in this area. The NCCUSL drafting committee worked on a highly expedited drafting schedule, and a completed draft of UETA was finalized and approved ill July 1999.15.

Recently, as the scale of a construction project has become larger and more complicated, there are many cases where construction projects with complex structures are carried out in a fast track method to save construction duration. In the fast track method, the proper division of construction phases is an important issue in determining the overall project period. This study presents a rational phase division method that can be applied when a construction project with complex structures is carried out as a fast track. For this study, a subdivided work breakdown structure (WBS) is developed using the construction of 4 soccer stadiums as application examples, and the schedule is analyzed by dividing the construction process of major phases. To this end, five proposals are applied to analyze the adequacy of the fast track phase division. For the draft with the minimum construction period, the fast track phase division and the schedule model of by each phase were presented. This methodology can have an application in the appropriate phase division and schedule model by construction phase when fast track is applied in large construction project of a similar size.

Conclusions The proposal of this manual has a significance for it provides information about decision making process and contents of treatment in one medical institution for East-west integrative rehabilitation treatment after shoulder surgery.

One of the main functions of the 4D system includes visualizing numerical schedule data in construction. The existing 4D tools have an excellent function for simulating building projects that all activities are progressed according to vertical work zone. However, it is not easy to implement all of it in the civil engineering project because the construction activities of highway and railway projects are progressed on the horizontal work zone and the 4D simulation for those projects should include earthwork objects that depend on the natural ground condition. This study suggests a new methodology for improving those limitations of 4D system for the civil engineering project and develops a new system by the suggested methodology. To verify the developed system, this study attempts to simulate 4D object for horizontal elements such as earthwork, paving work and tunneling work. The morphing and multi-texturing techniques developed in the study can be new approaches to simulate 4D object for the earthwork such as cutting and banking whose activities are progressed on the natural ground condition. The research results can be expected as a draft function for improving the application of 4D system in civil engineering projects.

In this study, we have developed a retirement coaching model for effective retirement planning by applying systematic conversation of the coaching technique. A draft of the retirement coaching model was complemented by the validity verification of experts. The retirement coaching model can be summarized as follows. The first step, rapport and empowerment(RE), consists of sharing the image of a happy retirement after establishing a rapport between the coach and the people wanting to prepare for retirement. The second step, target establishment(T), consists of setting the theme and goals of the conversation. The third step, identification(I), consists of developing a retirement plan for achieving the established goals. The fourth step, realization(R), consists of establishing a concrete schedule and a method of retirement planning. The fifth step, evaluation(E), consists of sharing impressions during coaching sessions, which facilitates future action plans.

Background: The purpose of this study is to analyze the cost for the denture treatment in accordance with the government's plan to expand the National Health Insurance coverage for dental prothesis from July 1, 2012. Methods: We developed the draft of classification of the treatment activities based on the existing researches and expert's review and finalized the standard procedures through confirming by Korean Dental Association. We also made the list of input at each stage of treatments. We conducted survey of 100 dental clinics via post from April 4 to May 20 in 2011 and 37 clinics took part in the survey. The unit of cost calculation is the process from the first visit for denture treatment to setting of denture and adjustment. The manufacturing process performed by dental technician was not included in the cost analysis. Results: The process for the complete denture treatment was classified with 10 stages. The partial denture treatment was classified with 8 stages. The treatment time per each denture is about 5.6 hours for complete dentures and about 6.6 hours for partial dentures. The treatment cost were from 591,108 won to 643,913 won for complete denture and from 670,219 won to 738,840 won for partial denture in 2011, depending on the location, type of the clinics and the types of physician's income. Conclusion: This study shows the example of cost analysis for the treatment to set the fee schedule. Measures to get representative and accurate information need to be made.
