Hot-Carrier 현상에 의한 Folded-Cascode CMOS OP-Amp의 성능 저하 (The performance degradation of a folded-cascode CMOS op-amp due to hot-carrier effects)

  • This study presents the first experimental data for the impact of hot-carrier degradtion on the performance of CMOS folded-cascode op-amps. A folded-cascode op-amp which has an NMOS input pair has been designed and fabricated using a 0.8.mu.m single-poly, double-metal CMOS process. After high voltage stress, the degradtion of perfomrance parameters such as open-metal CMOS process. After high voltage stress, the degradation of performance parameters such as open-loop voltage gain, unity-gain frequency and phase margin has been analized and physically explaniend in terms of hot carrier degradation.

Dynamic Research of a Potential Carrier for Hydrophobic Compound Model Pyrene Using Amphiphilic Peptide EYK

  • In recent years, the study of self-assembly peptide used in drug delivery system has been attracted great interest from scientists. In the category are self-assembly peptides in the structure either with one hydrophobic surface and another hydrophilic or a hydrophobic head and a hydrophilic tail. Here, we focus on a novel designed peptide EYK with double amphiphilic surfaces, investigating on the capability of peptide as a carrier for hydrophobic compound model pyrene. The fluorescence data presented the dynamic process of the transfer, showing that the pyrene was in the crystalline form in peptide solution, and molecularly migrated from its peptide encapsulations into the membrane bilayers when the peptide-pyrene suspension was mixed with liposome vesicles. The results indicated that the peptide EYK could stabilize hydrophobic pyrene in aqueous solution and delivered it into EPC liposome as a potential carrier.

  • Xerographic properties of double-layer photoconductor doped with 4-butyl-4'-methoxyazobenzene (BMAB) as charge-carrier transport material were investigated. BMAB can undergo reversible trans-cis isomerization by light with appropriate wavelength. In the results of measured surface voltage properties for photoconductor doped with BMAB, TNF: BMAB(4-wt%) sample with trans form showed the lowest dark decay, the lowest residual voltage, and the highest sensitivity among cis form. The trans isomer of BMAB has ordering orientation because the molecule possesses a rodlike shape, while the cis isomer has random orientation due to its bent shape. Therefore the molecular arrangement of trans form enhanced charge-carrier transport mobility.

Comparative analysis among deterministic and stochastic collision damage models for oil tanker and bulk carrier reliability

  • The incidence of collision damage models on oil tanker and bulk carrier reliability is investigated considering the IACS deterministic model against GOALDS/IMO database statistics for collision events, substantiating the probabilistic model. Statistical properties of hull girder residual strength are determined by Monte Carlo simulation, based on random generation of damage dimensions and a modified form of incremental-iterative method, to account for neutral axis rotation and equilibrium of horizontal bending moment, due to cross-section asymmetry after collision events. Reliability analysis is performed, to investigate the incidence of collision penetration depth and height statistical properties on hull girder sagging/hogging failure probabilities. Besides, the incidence of corrosion on hull girder residual strength and reliability is also discussed, focussing on gross, hull girder net and local net scantlings, respectively. The ISSC double hull oil tanker and single side bulk carrier, assumed as test cases in the ISSC 2012 report, are taken as reference ships.

  • 선박의 충돌 또는 좌초 사고에 대응하기 위하여 위험 화물을 운반하는 선박의 경우 이중 선체를 채용하고 있으나 이중선체의 충돌 에너지 흡수 정도와 내판의 파단 여부를 효과적으로 판단하는 기준은 아직 연구 대상으로 남아 있다. 본 연구에서는 실제선박의 충돌강도 해석을 하기 위해서 상용해석코드인 LS-DYNA3D를 사용하고 다양한 시나리오에 따라 동적 해석을 수행하였다. 본 연구를 위하여 46K의 Chemical/Product Carrier를 해석 대상 선박으로 정하여 하중 조건과 충돌 속도를 달리하여도 Energy-Indentation, Force-Indentation에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻어진 결과 및 정의는 충돌 사고에서의 매커니즘과 충돌 강도 평가에 유익한 정보를 제공하게 될 것이라 판단된다.

  • In this paper, an attitude determination system(ADS) for KOMPSAT using GPS LI carrier phase measurements is considered. The baseline vector is estimated by the Exetnded Kalman Filter (EKF) which used the double differenced carrier phased measuremenmts made by three GPS receivers mounted on the spaceraft. The attitude angles of three axes of spacecrat are computed by the estimated baseline vectors, directly. The proposed ADS is verified by the simulation results.

  • Double Ion Implantation methods are used to improve the stiffness os carrier profiles, and then the analytical solutions to Poisson`s equation are derived with summation of each carrier profile. Numerical analyses are done using profer boudary conditions and the results show that the improvement of voltage-dependent-capacitance ratio (C(!)/C(25)) is obtained up to B.6. The third ion implantation is for the enhancement of the Schottky barrier height.

  • In this reseach, double-layered photoconductor consist of the carrier generation layer(CGL) of $\varepsilon$ type copper phthalocyanine thin film by an aqueous coating method and the carrier transport layer(CGL) of polyvinyl carbazol(PVK) by spin coating. We inverstigated effect of the surfactant solution and cathod electrolysis to the crystal type of $\varepsilon$-CuPc in CGL with TEM, SEM and X- ray diffraction spectroscopy and studied the mechanism of an aqueous coating for the preparation of CGL. The effect of the washing of CGL about the electrophotographic characteristics of the $\varepsilon$-CuPc/PVK doublelayered photoconductors is studied also.

통합공통구조규칙(CSR-H) 적용에 따른 구조 부재 요구치의 비교 분석 (Comparison Analysis on Requirements of Structural Members by Application of the Harmonized Common Structural Rules)

  • International organizations and classification societies established rules and regulations to which shipbuilders and ship operators should comply during design, construction, even operation keeping from hazard to life of crews and ocean environment. Hence, rules and regulations could be guidelines for design and construction of ship sometimes. In practical wise, ship structure designers be predisposed to design lightest and easy-to-product structures which satisfy rules and regulations. Therefore, changes of rules and regulations are remarkably important issue to related industries. In 2006, IACS established and released Common Structural Rules for Bulk Carrier and Common Structural Rules for Double Hull Oil Tanker. These CSRs are consolidated and unified rules of class society's rules. But these two rules are different from each other. IACS has plan to release unified rule of two ship type called Harmonized Common Structural Rule for Bulk Carriers and Oil Tankers. This new rule will be effective from July 2015. Hence, bulk carrier and double hull oil tanker whose contract date is on and thereafter July 2015 should be complied with CSR-H. Therefore, it is highly important to be aware of consequences and cause of consequences with respect to CSR-H. The object of this research is to compare requirements of structure scantling in way of midship area for selected target ship according to CSRs and CSR-H and to analysis cause of deviation between two rules.

전동기의 소음 저감을 위한 카오스 2중 텐트 사상 PWM기법 (Chaotic Double Tent Mapping PWM Scheme for Acoustic Noise Reduction of o Motor Drive))

  • 본 연구에서는 전동기 소음 저감을 위한 카오스 2중 텐트 사상(double tent mapping) PWM 기법에 대하여 고찰하였다. 카오스 수 발생은 2중 텐트 사상의 카오스 발생 영역인 ${\lambda}=0.99$에서의 분기 트리(bifurcation tree)를 사용하였다. 카오스 수 발생은 80C196 마이크로 콘트롤러가 담당하고 있으며, 80C196으로부터 발생된 카오스 수와 MAX038 주파수 변조기를 이용하여 카오스 특성을 갖는 삼각파 캐리어가 발생한다. 2.5[A] 부하조건에 대한 1.5[kw]급 유도 전동기 구동 시스템에 제안된 방법과 종전의 고정 주파수 방법을 적용하였으며 각각의 방법에 대하여 캐리어 및 전동기 전압 그리고 3차원 스위칭 소음의 고조파 스펙트럼을 비교 검토하였다. 그 결과 제안된 방법의 고조파 스펙트럼은 특정 주파수에 집중되지 않는 카오스 분포를 하였으며, 이로 인하여 전동기에서 발생하는 날카로운 스위칭 소음이 저감됨을 알 수 있었다.
