딜티아젬과 페니토인과의 약물상호작용 (Drug Interaction Between Phenytoin and Diltiazem in Rabbit)

  • Pharmacokinetic drug interaction between phenytoin and diltiazem was investigated following i.v. administration concomitantly to rabbits. Diltiazem was coadministered at doses of 1, 2 and 3 mg/kg, respectively, with phenytoin (5 mg/kg) to rabbits. Plasma concentration and AUC of phenytoin were increased significantly, but volume of distribution and total body clearance were decreased significantly (p<0.05) at doses of 2 mg and 3 mg/kg of diltiazem. From the results of this experiment, it is desirable that dosage regimen of phenytoin should be adjusted and that therapeutic drug monitoring should be practiced for reduction of side or toxic effect when phenytoin should be administered with diltiazem in clinical practice.

  • 지반 내 열전도 현상은 지구온난화에 따른 지반거동 변화 예측, 극한지 기반시설 건설, 지열 냉난방 시스템의 부하 계산 등 다양한 건설 및 환경 분야에서 중요한 고려사항이다. 열전달 해석에서 가장 중요한 변수인 열전도계수를 산정하는 방법으로 이를 정량적으로 정확하게 예측, 평가할 수 있는 기법의 필요성이 제기되고 있다. 최근 들어서는 세립토를 대상으로 열전도계수에 관한 연구가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 그러나 기존 연구자들은 세립토의 열전도계수를 정확히 측정하는데 어려움으로 인해 신뢰성 있는 데이터가 부족하다는 문제점들이 제기되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 포화된 카올리나이트와 실리카 혼합점성토를 대상으로 건조밀도 변화에 따른 열전도계수 측정 실내실험을 수행하였다. 표준압밀시험의 단점을 보완한 일정변형율 압밀시험 자동화 장비를 이용하여 건조밀도의 변화에 따른 열전도계수를 연속적으로 측정하고 실내실험 결과의 신뢰성을 분석하였다. 또한, 기존 경험식과의 비교를 통해 최적의 세립토 열전도계수 예측 방법을 제시하고자 한다.

상수관망의 자가세척 유속과 적정 플러싱 유속 평가 (The assessment of self cleaning velocity and optimal flushing velocity in water distribution system)

  • The flushing is important to maintain good water quality in water main. It is a technique of using water velocity to remove sediments in water distribution system. The variety of water quality problems can occur in a distribution system, so too can a variety of benefits be gained by system flushing. In order to effectively perform the flushing, the contaminants to be removed to set up and it can be solved, it is necessary to ensure the proper flow rate. In this study, the removal of contaminants present in the inner water pipe attached loose deposits such as fine particles of granular activated carbon, sand and iron corrosion product sought to derive flow rates. Thus, the constant observation of using pilot plant scale water distribution plant for the movement of floating characteristics of particles were assessed.

Leidenfrost 온도 이상의 가열 벽면과 충돌 시 열전달에 대한 액적 온도의 영향 (Effects of Droplet Temperature on Heat Transfer During Collision on a Heated Wall Above the Leidenfrost Temperature)

  • This study experimentally investigated the effects of droplet temperature on the heat transfer characteristics during collision of a single droplet on a heated wall above the Leidenfrost temperature. Experiments were performed by varying temperature from 40 to $100^{\circ}C$ while the collision velocity and wall temperature were maintained constant at 0.7 m/s at $500^{\circ}C$, respectively. Evolution of temperature distribution at the droplet-wall interface as well as collision dynamics of the droplet were simultaneously recorded using synchronized high-speed video and infrared cameras. The local heat flux distribution at the collision surface was deduced using the measured temperature distribution data. Various physical parameters, including residence time, local heat flux distribution, heat transfer rate, heat transfer effectiveness and vapor film thickness, were measured from the visualization data. The results showed that increase in droplet temperature reduces the residence time and increases the vapor film thickness. This ultimately results in reduction in the total heat transfer by conduction through the vapor film during droplet-wall collision.

유전자 재조합 사람형 erythropoietin, GC-rhEPO의 약물동태 및 조직분포 (Pharmacokinetics rind Tissue Distribution of a Recombinant truman Erythropoietin, GC-rhEPO)

  • To evaluate the pharmacokinetic properties and tissue distribution of a newly developed recombinant human erythropoietin (GC-rhEPO), we analyzed the plasma and tissue levels of erythropoietin by an ELISA after intravenous (IV) and subcutaneous (SC) adminstration to the male rats at the doses of 20, 100, 500 or 2,500 unit/kg. After single IV bolus injection of GC-rhEPO, the plasma concentration was rapidly increased and decreased with two phases with half-lives of 13.4 min and 2.94 hours. AUC was increased dose- dependently but plasma half-lives remained constant regardless of GC-rhEPO doses. Following SC administration, the plasma concentration increased slowly with half-life of 9.2 hours and reached peak at 8 hours. Mean residence time and bioavailability were 18.2 hours and 44%, respectively. After single IV dose of 100 unit/kg, tissue GC-rhEPO level was higher in bone marrow and spleen, while the depletion rate was slower in liver and bone marrow, indicating the higher affinity of GC-rhEPO to bone marrow. Taken together, the experimental results indicate that GC-rhEPO contained the typical pharmacokinetic properties and the tissue distribution patterns inherent to human erythropoietin.

  • The stochastic properties of variation in fatigue crack growth are important in reliability and stability of structures. In this study,the stochastic model for the variation of fatigue crack growth rate was proposed in consideration of nonhomogeneity of materials. For this model, experiments were ocnducted on 7075-T6 aluminum alloy under the constant stress intensity factor range. The variation of fatigue crack growth rate was expressed by random variables Z and r based on the variation of material coefficients C and m in the paris-Erodogan's equation. The distribution of fatigue life with respect to the stress intensity factor range was evaluated by the stochastic Markov chain model based on the Paris-Erdogan's equation. The merit of proposed model is that only a small number of test are required to determine this this function, and fatigue crack growth life is easily predicted at the given stress intensity factor range.

크리프 파단 데이터의 변동성에 대한 새로운 고찰과 수명예측 (New Considerations on Variability of Creep Rupture Data and Life Prediction)

  • This paper deals with the variability analysis of short term creep rupture test data based on the previous creep rupture tests and the possibility of the creep life prediction. From creep tests performed by constant uniaxial stresses at 600, 650 and $700^{\circ}C$ elevated temperature, in order to investigate the variability of short-term creep rupture data, the creep curves were analyzed for normalized creep strain divided by initial strain. There are some variability in the creep rupture data. And, the difference between general creep curves and normalized creep curves were obtained. The effects of the creep rupture time (RT) and steady state creep rate (SSCR) on the Weibull distribution parameters were investigated. There were good relation between normal Weibull parameters and normalized Weibull parameters. Finally, the predicted creep life were compared with the Monkman-Grant model.

알루미늄 합금의 표면경화 (Formation of Thicker Hard Alloy Layer on Surface of Aluminum Alloy by PTA Overlaying with Metal Powder)

  • The formation of a thicker hard alloyed layer have been investigated on the surface of aluminum cast alloy (AC2B) by PTA overlaying process with Cr, Cu and Ni motel powders under the condition of overlaying current 125-200A. overlaying speed 150 mm/min and different powder feeding rate 5-20 g/min. In addition the characteristics of hardening and wear resistance of alloyed layer here been examined in relation to the microstructure of alloyed layer. Main results obtained were summarized as follows: 1) There was an optimum overlaying condition to get a good alloyed layer with smooth surface. This good layer became easy to be formed as increasing overlaying current and decreasing powder feeding rate under a constant overlaying speed. 2) Cu powder was the most superior one in metal powders used due to a wide optimum overlaying condition range, uniform hardness distribution of Hv250-350, good oar resistance and freedom from cracking in alloyed layer with fine hyper-eutectic structure. 3) On the contrary, irregular hardness distribution was usually obtained in Cr ar Ni alloyed layers of which hardness was increased as Cr or Ni contents and reached to maximum hardness of about Hv400-850 at about 60wt%cr or 40wt%Ni in alloyed layer. 4) Cracking occurred in Cr or Ni alloyed layers with higher hardness than Hv250-300 at mere than 20-25wt% of Cr or Ni contents in alloyed layer. Porosity was observed in all alloyed layers but decreased by usage of spherical powder with smooth surface.

대도시 이동전파신호에 대한 단구간 페이딩 특성 (Short-term Fading Characteristics for Mobile Radio Signal in Built-up Areas)

  • 이동전파신호에서의 단구간 페이딩 현상은 이동국이 이동할 때 집, 건물 등 주변 반사체와 숲과 같은 자연적 방해물에 의한 다중경로 반사파에 의하여 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 대전 및 서울 지역에서 측정하여 얻은 이동전파신호의 전계강도 측적데이타를 이용하여 확률밀도함수(PDF), 레벨 교차율(LCR), 페이드의 깊이와 넓이에 대하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 평균치가 일정한 작은 구간내에서의 신호 변화에 대한 통계적 분포는 레일리 분포를 따른다. 페이트 깊이는 위치에 대한 크기의 별화는 심하나 도심지역이나 변두리지역등 지역적 특성에 따른 깊이차이는 거의 없었으며, 페이트 넓이는 주변 구조물과 지역특성에 따라 변화가 매우 심하였다. 또한 레벨 교차율은 평균치 근처에서 최대가 되는 것을 볼 수 있었다.

공공사업으로 인한 어업피해 범위와 피해정도 추정의 새로운 통계학적 접근 (A New Statistical Approach for the Estimation of Range and Degree of Fisheries Damages Caused by Public Undertaking)

  • This study attempts to suggest a new approach of the estimation of range and degree of fisheries damages caused by a large scale of reclamation undertaken in coastal area using the central limit theorem(CLT) in statistics. The key result of the study is the introduction of the new concept of critical variation of environmental factor($d_{c}$). The study defines $d_{c}$ as a standard deviation of the sample mean($\bar{X}$) of environmental factor(X), in other words, $\frac{\sigma}{ \sqrt{n}}$. The inner bound of $d_{c}$ could be the area of fisheries damages caused by public coastal undertaking. The study also defines the decreasing rate of fisheries production$\delta_{\varepsilon}$, in other words, degree of fisheries damages, as the rate of change in the distribution of sample mean(($\bar{X}$), caused by the continuous and constant variation of environmental factor. Therefore $\delta_{\varepsilon}$ can be easily calculated by the use of table of the standardized normal distribution.
