고속도로 이용자의 승차감 평가특성 및 만족도 분석과 ROC 곡선을 이용한 평탄성 관리기준 적정성 검토 (Analysis of Riding Quality Acceptability and Characteristics of Expressway Users and Evaluation of MRI Thresholds using Receiver Operating Characteristic curves)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this research is to analyze the characteristics of panels that affect the evaluating results of riding quality and to evaluate the appropriateness of roughness management criteria based on ride comfort satisfaction. METHODS : In order to analyze the influence of panel characteristics of riding quality, 33 panels, consisting of civilians and experts, were selected. Also, considering the roughness distribution of the expressway, 35 sections with MRI ranging from 1.17 m/km to 4.65 m/km were selected. Each panel boarded a passenger car and evaluated the riding quality with grades from 0 to 10, and assessed whether it was satisfied or not. After removing outlier results using a box plot technique, 964 results were analyzed. An ANOVA was conducted to evaluate the effects of panel expertise, age, driving experience, vehicle ownership, and gender on the evaluation results. In addition, by using the receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve, the MRI value, which can most accurately evaluate the satisfaction with riding quality, was derived. Then, the compatibility of MRI was evaluated using AUC as a criterion to assess whether the riding quality was satisfactory. RESULTS : Only the age of the panel participants were found to have an effect on the riding quality satisfaction. It was found that satisfaction with riding quality and MRI are strongly correlated. The satisfaction rate of roughness management criteria on new (MRI 1.6 m/km) and maintenance (MRI 3.0 m/km) expressways were 95% and 53%, respectively. As a result of evaluating the roughness management criteria by using the ROC curve, it was found that the accuracy of satisfaction was the highest at MRI 3.1-3.2 m/km. In addition, the AUC of the MRI was about 0.8, indicating that the MRI was an appropriate index for evaluating the riding quality satisfaction. CONCLUSIONS : Based on the results, the distribution of the panels' age should be considered when panel rating is conducted. From the results of the ROC curve, MRI of 3.0 m/km, which is a criterion of roughness management on maintenance expressways, is considered as appropriate.

중선형 모형을 이용한 비선형 시계열 패널자료의 동질성검정에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Test of Homogeneity for Nonlinear Time Series Panel Data Using Bilinear Models)

  • 시계열 모형에서 모수의 수가 많으면 모수추정에 따르는 오차가 커지게 되므로 예측을 하는데 많은 어려움이 있다. 만약 여러개의 시계열 자료들이 동일한 모형에서부터 얻어졌다고 하는 동질성 가설이 채택되면 모수축약을 이룰 수 있고, 더 좋은 예측값을 얻을 수 있다. 비선형 시계열 패널 자료는 각각의 시계열마다 모수들이 있기 때문에 매우 많은 모수가 존재하게되고, 모수의 수가 많으면 모수추정에 따르는 오차가 커지게 되어 예측의 정확도가 떨어지게 된다. 패널내에 존재하는 독립적인 여러 시계열들의 동질성이 만족되면 시계열을 종합하여 모수를 추정하고 검정할 수 있다. m개의 독립적인 비선형 시계열 패널 자료의 동질성 검정을 알아보기 위하여 모형을 설정하고 이 모형에 대한 정상성 조건을 구하였고, 동질성 검정통계량을 유도했으며, 구한 검정 통계량의 극한분포가 ${\chi}^2$ 분포를 따르는 것을 보였다. 실증분석에 있어서는 비선형 시계열 자료중 중선형 시계열 모형의 동질성 검정을 하고, 실제 우리나라 주식자료를 2개의 집단으로 나누어 비선형 시계열 패널 자료의 동질성 검정에 대한 분석을 하였다.

Comparison of farmer happiness and rural life satisfaction through the survey of major agricultural products panel

  • There is a growing need to understand how local, farm household, and elementary units are responding to changes in agricultural conditions due to increased internal and external agrarian conditions and increased uncertainty in agricultural management due to increasing FTA and climate change. Therefore, we analyze dynamics of changes through more detailed and precise gathering of information related to agricultural products and DB, and by analyzing the satisfaction level of the first year panel survey by constructing a producer panel for utilization in agricultural research and policy. A total of 500 farmers in the producer panel who mainly grow rice, garlic, onion, strawberry, apple were collected through questionnaires. The actual analysis used data from a total of 393 farm households, including 82 farms of rice, 51 farms of apple, 100 farms of garlic, 88 farms of onion and 72 farmhouses of strawberry. The distribution by age was similar to the distribution of rural ages in Korea, with 2.8% under 30s, 17.6% in 40s, 32.4% in 50s, 37.5% in 60s and 9.7% in 70s. Panel happiness and rural life satisfaction were examined using the 7 - point Likert scale and the analysis method was one - way ANOVA. The results showed that the happiness of garlic and strawberry cultivator was significantly higher than that of rice and onion cultivator. However, the satisfaction of rural life did not show any difference among the cultivars. As a result of difference verification about Agricultural Outlook and Crop-specific Outlook after 5 years, there was no difference between the crops in terms of prospects for Korean agriculture after five years, but a survey of industrial prospects for crops after five years showed that the rice growers have a significantly negative outlook compared to garlic, onion and strawberry growers, and garlic and onion growers have a more positive outlook than rice and apple growers As a result of verifying whether there is a difference in ages between the agricultural prospects and the industrial prospects by crops after 5 years, there was no difference between the ages of prospects for Korean agriculture after 5 years, However, in the survey on industrial prospects by crops after 5 years, 40s were more positive than 60s.

무광부식 패턴을 갖는 자동차 내장부품인 HD Switch Panel의 제조 및 전사성 평가 (Development and transcription estimation of an automotive interior plastic part(HD Switch Panel) with no glossy etching pattern)

  • 본 논문에서는 미세 무광부식 패턴을 갖는 HD Switch Panel 자동차 부품을 개발하는 것으로, 제품 디자인을 통해 금형을 설계, 제작하였다. 최적화된 금형 제작을 위하여 CAE(Computer Aided Engineering)해석을 통하여 사출성형 공정에서 나타날 수 있는 문제점과 부품의 수축 변형을 정량적으로 예측하였다. 그리고, 금형표면의 가열온도와 실제 금형온도를 비교함으로써 공정변수 조절을 통해 사출성형조건의 최적화도 달성할 수 있었다. 한편, 순간금형표면가열방식을 이용한 성형기술인 E-MOLD를 적용하여 자동차 내장부품용 HD Switch Panel 사출성형품을 제작하였고, 전자현미경과 원자현미경을 이용한 표면 평가 및 광택도 측정을 통하여 무광부식 패턴의 전사율 향상으로 인한 무광 특성이 향상됨(2.5이상$\to$1.5~1.7)을 확인하였다.

기후변화 시나리오에 따른 산림분포 취약성 평가 (Vulnerability Assessment of Forest Distribution by the Climate Change Scenarios)

  • 본 연구에서는 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC) 기후변화 시나리오 A2와 B1에 따른 산림분포 취약성을 평가하였다. 산림분포 취약성은 한국형 산림 생태계 분포 모델 Thermal Analogy Groups(TAG) 의 산림분포예측 방법과 Hydrology Thermal Analogy Groups(HyTAG)에서 정의한 식생유형을 이용하여 기후 변화에 따른 잠재 식물상(Plant Functional Type: PFT)의 분포 변화를 기후변화 민감성과 적응성으로 나누어 평가되었다. 그 결과, 산림분포가 취약한 지역의 면적은 A2 시나리오에서 전체 국토 면적의 30.78%, B1에서는 2.81%로 나타났다. 행정구역별 취약성 평가 결과는 부산이 A2 시나리오에서 가장 취약하고 대구가 B1 시나리오에서 가장 큰 취약성을 나타냈다. 미래 발전 방향에 따라서 상이하게 구축된 시나리오 별 산림 분포 취약성 결과는 앞으로 산림 분야 적응대책 수립에 중요한 자료로 이용될 것이다.

  • Lightweight body can cause a low stiffness due to the decrease of panel thickness and reinforcing member. The other way, high stiffness body demands an increase of mass. Front pillar section area is decreased due to driver's visual field. Global vehicle stiffness is affected by stiffness distribution ratio between upper part and lower part at side body structure. This paper will describe a process used to evaluate the stiffness distribution ratio based on research of strain energy analysis of the tip rotation method. In addition, optimum design schemes are presented for high stiffness and lightweight body structure considering the investigated stiffness distribution ratio. In this way the designer will be aided by a defined design guide and a set of supporting tool to help him work towards a good design

Effect of Flow Liners on Ship′s Wake Simulation in a Cavitation Tunnel

  • Flew control devices, such as flow liners, are frequently introduced in a cavitation tunnel in order to reduce the tunnel blockage effect, when a three-dimensional wake distribution is simulated using a complete ship model or a dummy model. In order to estimate the tunnel wall effect and to evaluate the effect of flow liners on the simulated wake distribution, a surface panel method is adopted for the calculation of the flow around a ship model and flow liners installed in a rectangular test section off cavitation tunnel. Calculation results on the Sydney Express ship model show that the tunnel wall effect on the hull surface pressure distribution is negligible for less than 5% blockage and can be appreciable for more than 20% blockage. The flow liners accelerate the flow near the afterbody of the ship model, so that the pressure gradient there becomes more favorable and accordingly the boundary layer thickness would be reduced. Since the resulting wake distribution is assumed to resemble the full scale wake, flow liners can also be used to simulate an estimated full scale wake without modifying the ship model. Boundary taper calculation should be incorporated in order to correlate the calculated wake distribution with the measured one.

인터넷 이용자들의 웹사이트 재방문 빈도에 관한 실증적 연구 (An Empirical Study of Customer's Repeat Visit Frequency on the Internet)

  • 본 연구는 소비자들의 선택모형에서 널리 사용된 NBD (Negative Binomial Distribution) 타입의 계랑적 모델 접근법이 온라인 상에서 소비자들이 특정한 기업의 웹사이트를 방문하는 행위를 설명하는데 적용될 수 있는지를 탐구한다. 본 연구에서는 다음의 두 가지 연구 주제를 다루고 있다. 첫째, 소비자들이 웹사이트를 반복하여 방문하는 행위의 빈도에 관한 분포를 확률적으로 규정하며, 둘째로는 그러한 소비자들의 반복된 이용빈도의 분포에 소비자들의 일반적인 인터넷 사용패턴과 인구 통계적인 변수들이 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 조사하고 있다. 일련의 실증적 분석을 통하여, 이 논문은 마케팅의 선택모형 (Choice Model)들에서 널리 사용된 NBD 타입의 모댈들이 인터넷상의 사이트 방문빈도 연구에도 잘 적용될 수 있음을 보여주고 있다. 그리고 이 연구는 이러한 소비자들의 이용빈도에 관한 모델개발이 온라인 기업의 당면문제에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지를 설명한다. 특히 본 연구는 반복된 이용빈도와 소비자들의 일반적인 인터넷사용 특징 및 인구 통계적인 변수들과의 상호관계를 규명했다. 본 연구에서 제시된 모델들을 추정하고 검정하기 위해 800,000번의 방문 기록과 1000개 이상의 상이한 방문사이트 수로 구성된 웹 패널 데이터를 사용하여 실증분석을 연구에서 제시하는 모델을 개발하고 검증하였다.

The Effects of Trading-Hour Regulations on Large Stores in Korea

  • Purpose - This study empirically analyses the sale changes in large retail stores directly resulting from increased controls on those stores. More specifically, we discuss the economic impacts on Korean regulations that restrict trading hours and mandate statutory store closure 'holidays' twice per month. Research design, data and methodology - we attempt to empirically analyse the economic effects of trading hours regulations through quantitative analysis of the sales revenue data of large retail stores. We introduce the data and methods of empirical analysis used to analyse the economic effects of trading-hour regulations on large retail stores. We use a panel regression to analyse the sales losses of large retail stores caused by the new constraints on business hours. Results - The results of this study show that the sales of large retail stores fell by the average of 3.4% per month during the regulation periods. However, regulations affecting large retail stores have various economic impacts, including variations in sales, changes in consumption patterns, and influences on consumer welfare and national economy. Conclusions - Such changes may also be captured by other metrics: accordingly, further researches are needed to measure the impact of regulations on economic indicators such as employment and GDP.
