Distributed Real Time Simulation Programming with Time and Message Object Oriented in Computer Network Systems

  • Real-time(RT) object-oriented(OO) distributed computing is a form of RT distributed computing realized with a distributed computer system structured in the form of an object network. Several approached proposed in recent years for extending the conventional object structuring scheme to suit RT applications, are briefly reviewed. Then the approach named the TMO(Time-triggered Message-triggered Object)structuring scheme was formulated with the goal of instigating a quantum productivity jump in the design of distributed time triggered simulation. The TMO scheme is intended to facilitate the pursuit of a new paradigm in designing distributed time triggered simulation which is to realize real-time computing with a common and general design style that does not alienate the main-stream computing industry and yet to allow system engineers to confidently produce certifiable distributed time triggered simulation for safety-critical applications. The TMO structuring scheme is a syntactically simple but semantically powerful extension of the conventional object structuring approached and as such, its support tools can be based on various well-established OO programming languages such as C++ and on ubiquitous commercial RT operating system kernels. The Scheme enables a great reduction of the designers efforts in guaranteeing timely service capabilities of application systems. Start after striking space key 2 times.

  • 무선 센서 네트워크의 분산 센싱 및 예측에 대한 실제 Application에서 네트워크 환경 센싱 기능은 움직이는 소스 신호의 잡음 및 많은 센싱 정보들 때문에 매우 동적인 기능을 요구한다. 최근의 Distributed Online Convex Optimization 프레임워크는 분산된 방식으로 센서 네트워크를 통해 확률적인 학습 문제를 해결하기 위한 유망한 접근법으로 개발되었다. 기존의 Distributed Saddle Point Algorithm (DSPA)의 학습 결과에서 수렴 속도와 안정성은 이동성의 영향을 받을 수 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 움직이는 소스 신호 시나리오의 동시 검출에서 예측을 안정화하고 보다 나은 수렵 속도를 달성하기 위해 통합 Sliding Windows 메커니즘을 제안한다.

통신 실패에 강인한 분산 뉴럴 네트워크 분할 및 추론 정확도 개선 기법 (Communication Failure Resilient Improvement of Distributed Neural Network Partitioning and Inference Accuracy)

  • Recently, it is increasingly necessary to run high-end neural network applications with huge computation overhead on top of resource-constrained embedded systems, such as wearable devices. While the huge computational overhead can be alleviated by distributed neural networks running on multiple separate devices, existing distributed neural network techniques suffer from a large traffic between the devices; thus are very vulnerable to communication failures. These drawbacks make the distributed neural network techniques inapplicable to wearable devices, which are connected with each other through unstable and low data rate communication medium like human body communication. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a distributed neural network partitioning technique that is resilient to communication failures. Furthermore, we show that the proposed technique also improves the inference accuracy even in case of no communication failure, thanks to the improved network partitioning. We verify through comparative experiments with a real-life neural network application that the proposed technique outperforms the existing state-of-the-art distributed neural network technique in terms of accuracy and resiliency to communication failures.

  • 최근 병원 환경은 점차 유비궈터스 환경으로 변화되고 있으며, 이에 따라 응용 서비스 또한 새로운 요구사항에 직면하고 있다. 특히, 다양한 모바일 장치의 출현과 무선 센서 네트워크 기술의 도입은 u-헬스케어의 실현을 가속화 시키고 있다. 서로 다른 환경에서 구축된 정보의 통합이나 다양한 웅용 시나리오를 만족하기 위해 멀티에이전트 패러다임을 도입하고 있는 추세이다. 본 논문은 유비쿼터스 병원 정보 시스템을 위한 소프트웨어 구조와 u-응용서비스에 대해 기술한다. 또한 본 연구에서는 u-병원 정보 시스템을 위해 멀티에이전트 기반 분산 프레임워크를 구축하고 제시하고 있다. 이는 JADE와 분산객체그룹 프레임워크를 포함한다. 그리고 의사와 간호사를 위해 환자의 건강 정보와 병실 환경 정보를 제공하는 u-응용 서비스를 구현하였다. 특히 기존 관련 연구에서 강조하고 있지 않은 보안 부분에 대한 상황기반의 동적 보안 메커니즘을 적용하였으며, 본 연구에서는 각 사용자의 GUI를 통해 수행결과를 보였다.

  • This paper proposes streaming layer for personal robot's middleware. Under assumption that robot has open architecture, i.e. consists of modules created by different vendors and intercommunication between these modules is necessary, we have to consider that there are many different network interfaces. To make communication between modules possible it is necessary to develop new type of middleware. Such middleware has to support different platforms, i.e. OS, network interface, hardware, etc. In addition, it is necessary to implement effective interface between network and application in order to manage inter application communications and use network resources more effectively. Streaming layer is such interface that implements necessary functionality together with simplicity and portability. Streaming layer provides high level of abstraction and makes communication between distributed applications transparent as if are located in same module. With possibility of extension by user defined application interfaces it is suitable for distributed environments, i.e. module based architecture including small-embedded systems like as DSP board. To verify the proposed streaming layer structure it is implemented using C and tested.

  • 분산 웹 애플리케이션에 대한 관심도가 증가함에 따라서 복잡한 분산 프레임워크와 관련된 코드의 작성 없이 비즈니스 코드 작성에 주력할 수 있게 해 주는 서버측 Java 컴포넌트 아키텍처인 EJB에 대한 관심도 또한 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 그러나 이러한 관심도의 증가에도 불구하고 지금까지는 이러한 시스템의 신뢰성 측면에 대한 노력은 미비한 것이 현실이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 객체지향 시스템 개발에서 소프트웨어의 신뢰성을 높여줄 수 있는 접근법으로 증명되고 있는 DbC 접근법을 EJB 기반 애플리케이션의 정형 명세 작성에 적용하기 위한 명세 기법을 제안한다. 이러한 명세 기법을 통해 개발자들은 EJB 기반 애플리케이션 개발에 있어서 신뢰성 측면의 이점을 얻을 수 있다.

  • As the distributed simulation system has been developed in the defense modeling and simulation, interoperability among heterogeneous simulators is essential to achieve the objectives of the distributed simulation system. However, the interoperability has been a problem to synchronize synthetic environment among many heterogeneous simulators that utilize different environmental data formats. SEDRIS (Synthetic Environmental Data Representation and Interchange Specification) was initiated to solve the problem of the interoperability. SEDRIS provides a standard mechanism to promote data interchange and reusability, and it represents all environmental things from ocean, land and atmosphere to the universe. Although SEDRIS provides various advantages as a standard environmental data format, applying of SEDRIS has been hindered by its broadness and complexity. The main objective of this paper is to explain application development process to improve SEDRIS usability for the atmosphere and ocean. The developed application of this paper provides auto-generation of SEDRIS data with minimum user's input, and the auto-generated SEDRIS data is also visualized and verified by the application.

  • 본 논문의 목적은 여러 다른 유형의 정보를 사용하고 다자간에 공동작업을 지원하는 응용의 요구사항을 분석하고, 이러한 특성을 갖는 응용이 필요로 하는 유용한 공통 서비스를 제공함으로 개발 환경을 지원하는 데 있다. 응용 계층의 수평 서비스로서 다자간 대화형 응용 서비스와 기반 구조 계층의 지원 서비스로서 다중 세션 관리 서비스가 정의되었으며, 개방형 분산 처리 시스템의 개념과 규칙에 따라 설계되었다. 따라서, 응용 개발자들은 이 두 서비스를 이용하여 본 논문에서 고려한 특성을 갖는 응용을 구축할 수 있을 것이다.
