  • Three spherical quaternary composites composed of metal/metal oxide/high explosive/oxidizer were prepared by a crystallization/agglomeration process. From the characteristics of composites by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), the shortening of the decomposition zone of high explosives in the quaternary composite was observed, which may be attributed to the autocatalytic reaction caused by $ClO_2$ or HCl which are ammonium perchlorate (AP) degradation products. The activation energy analysis showed that the activation energy abruptly decreases at the end of the decomposition zone of high explosives, and it was considered to be caused by $HNO_2$ which is common in decomposition products of high explosives. The activation energy predicted from complex pyrolysis results by the distributed activation energy model (DAEM) showed much better in accuracy than those by model-fitting methods such as Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose and Flynn-Wall-Ozawa models.

  • The experiment was designed to compare pyrolysis kinetics of two different classes of imported coal. The pyrolysis behaviors of the coals were first observed with thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA). The kinetic analysis was further done based on a new distributed activation energy model(New DAEM). During the analysis, weight loss curves measured at three different heating rates were used to obtain the activation energy distribution function curve f(E) of a given coal sample where a mean activation energy is determined by its peak. The results show a significant difference in the mean activation energy between two coals for the pyrolytic reaction. The prediction of a chemical percolation devolatilization(CPD) model where the kinetics obtained from the New DAEM method were incorporated is in much closer agreement with an experimental data of TGA particularly for the bituminous coal.

  • In order to evaluate the devolatilization models of pulverized coal, various devolatilization models are examined for the numerical analysis of Drop Tube Furnace. The results of analysis are compared with the experimental results. A numerical study was conducted to explore the sensitivities of the predictions to variation of the model parameters. It helps to elucidate the source of the discrepancies. Three different wall temperature conditions of the DTF, 1100, 1300 and $1500^{\circ}C$ were considered in this analysis. Two fuels are U.S.A. Alaska coal and Australia Drayton coal. The results of analysis with constant rate model, single kinetic rate model and two competing rate modes well presented fast volatile matter release in the early devolatilization. However, in the latter devolatilization they did not coincide with experimental results which presented tardy volatile matter release on account of pyrolysis of high molecular substance. On the other hand, the results of analysis with DAEM(Distribute Activation Energy Model) coincided with experiment al results in overall devolatilization.

  • Cloud radio access networks (C-RANs) have been regarded in recent times as a promising concept in future 5G technologies where all DSP processors are moved into a central base band unit (BBU) pool in the cloud, and distributed remote radio heads (RRHs) compress and forward received radio signals from mobile users to the BBUs through radio links. In such dynamic environment, automatic decision-making approaches, such as artificial intelligence based deep reinforcement learning (DRL), become imperative in designing new solutions. In this paper, we propose a generic framework of autonomous cell activation and customized physical resource allocation schemes for energy consumption and QoS optimization in wireless networks. We formulate the problem as fractional power control with bandwidth adaptation and full power control and bandwidth allocation models and set up a Q-learning model to satisfy the QoS requirements of users and to achieve low energy consumption with the minimum number of active RRHs under varying traffic demand and network densities. Extensive simulations are conducted to show the effectiveness of our proposed solution compared to existing schemes.

  • Creep behavior of the squeeze infiltrated AS52 Mg matrix composites reinforced with 15 vol% of aluminum borate whiskers($Al_{18}B_4O_{33}w$) fabricated squeeze infiltration method was investigated. Microstructure of the composites was observed as uniformly distributed reinforcement in the matrix without any particular defects of casting pores etc.. Creep test was carried out at the temperature of 150 and $200^{\circ}C$ under the applied stress range of 60~120 MPa. The creep resistance of the composite was significantly improved comparing with the unreinforced AS52 Mg alloy. The creep behavior of composites might be interpreted with the substructure invariant model successfully for the composite. Threshold stress of the composite exist for the creep deformation of the composite. The analysis of the creep behavior of the composite with threshold stress indicated that creep deformation was controlled by the lattice diffusion process of AS52 Mg matrix at given effective stresses and temperatures. Activation energy was also calculated to check lattice diffusion controlled creep behavior of the composite.

  • When relaxation time will be distributed, TSC observed in the experimental procedure was analysed by using a potential model having two equilibrium positions and equations of dielectric properties was derived. Calculation of distribution was made by matrix method and compared/confirmed values obtained by TSC and alternating current which have a correspondence with each other. In this measurement, distribution of activation energy and relaxation time was determined by TSC peak at around 147k/364 of which center is 10$\^$-4/ sec/10$\^$5/ sec respectively at room temperature and also obtained dielctric loss factor at the range of 10$\^$-7/-10$\^$5/Hz. It seems that low temperature peak is local dispersion and high temperature peak have a relation to dielectric transition of the material.

  • This study selected seven carbon-neutral villages, considering the characteristics of each region, including all five administrative districts of Changwon City, and proposed activation plans based on business evaluations through surveys of local residents and FGIs with leaders. The analysis showed that carbon-neutral education was the most important factor for activating carbon-neutral villages, with a response rate of 91.9% for 17 multiple-choice questions, followed by legal (ordinance) arrangements at 79.3% and village organization building at 74.1%. Based on this, the following activation plans through the participation of residents who are involved in the project of creating a carbon-neutral village in Changwon City were proposed. First, the characteristics of each carbon-neutral village model were classified into a resource circulation-based model, an environmental creation-based model, an environmental education and experience event-based model, and an energy efficiency-based model. Second, it is necessary to create and present carbon-neutral village growth stage guidelines for the growth of carbon-neutral villages. Third, manuals and teaching materials related to carbon neutrality, such as theories, issues, and practices, need to be produced and distributed for leaders and activists to easily apply and access for self-government operation of the village. Finally, if a carbon-neutral support center that is legally installable in Changwon City is established, it is expected that the lives of local residents will become more sustainable for carbon-neutral living in preparation for climate crises.

  • The behaviour of insectcide ethoprophos (O-ethyl S,S-propyl phosphorodithioate) in soil was investigated. In a laboratory study, the degradation of ethoprophos in soil followed first-order reaction kinetics. The half-life of the insecticide in the soil incubated with 10, 18 and $25^{\circ}C$ was 12.4, 5.5 and 2.5 days, respectively. Arrhenius activation energy was 73.8 KJ/mole. The half-life was 46.4, 17.6 and 6.9 day in the soil with 7, 14 and 19% of soil water content, respectively. The moisture dependence B value in empirical equation was 1.67. The adsorption isotherm for ethoprophos in the soil agreed with freundlich equation. The adsorption distribution coefficient (Kd) was 0.27. In a field study prepared in autumn with undisturbed soil column in a mini-lysimeter system, ethoprophos residues were largely distributed in the top $0{\sim}2cm$ soil layer and moved down to the top 6cm soil layer. Persistence of ethoprophos in field soil was correlated with variation in weather pattern during the period of experiments. The half-life of ethoprophos treated at March and October was about 17 and 5 days, respectively. The ethoprophos woil was degraded up to 90% at 37day after the both treatment. In persistence and mobility of ethoprophos in field soil, the observed data were reasonably corresponded with predicted data by some computer model of pesticide behaviour.

  • In this paper, we propose a non-intrusive load monitoring(NILM) system which can find the power of each home appliance from the aggregated total power as the activation in the trading market of the distributed resource and the increasing importance of energy management. We transform the amount of appliances' power into a power on-off state by preprocessing. We use LSTM as a model for predicting states based on these data. Accuracy is measured by comparing predicted states with real ones after postprocessing. In this paper, the accuracy is measured with the different number of electronic products, data postprocessing method, and Time step size. When the number of electronic products is 6, the data postprocessing method using the Round function is used, and Time step size is set to 6, the maximum accuracy can be obtained.
