Dual frequency identification sonar (DIDSON) is an imaging sonar that has been used for numerous fisheries investigations in a diverse range of freshwater and marine environments. The main purpose of DIDSON is fish counting, fish sizing, and fish behavioral studies. DIDSON records video-quality data, so processing power for handling the vast amount of data with high speed is a priority. Therefore, a semiautomated analysis of DIDSON data for fish counting, sizing, and fish behavior in Echoview (fisheries acoustic data analysis software) was accomplished using testing data collected on the Rakaia River, New Zealand. Using this data, the methods and algorithms for background noise subtraction, image smoothing, target (fish) detection, and conversion to single targets were precisely illustrated. Verification by visualization identified the resulting targets. As a result, not only fish counts but also fish sizing information such as length, thickness, perimeter, compactness, and orientation were obtained. The alpha-beta fish tracking algorithm was employed to extract the speed, change in depth, and the distributed depth relating to fish behavior. Tail-beat pattern was depicted using the maximum intensity of all beams. This methodology can be used as a template and applied to data from BlueView two-dimensional imaging sonar.

Machine-learning systems have proven their worth in various industries, including healthcare and banking, by assisting in the extraction of valuable inferences. Information in these crucial sectors is traditionally stored in databases distributed across multiple environments, making accessing and extracting data from them a tough job. To this issue, we must add that these data sources contain sensitive information, implying that the data cannot be shared outside of the head. Using cryptographic techniques, Privacy-Preserving Machine Learning (PPML) helps solve this challenge, enabling information discovery while maintaining data privacy. In this paper, we talk about how to keep your data mining private. Because Data mining has a wide variety of uses, including business intelligence, medical diagnostic systems, image processing, web search, and scientific discoveries, and we discuss privacy-preserving in deep learning because deep learning (DL) exhibits exceptional exactitude in picture detection, Speech recognition, and natural language processing recognition as when compared to other fields of machine learning so that it detects the existence of any error that may occur to the data or access to systems and add data by unauthorized persons.

Closed cracks are difficult to detect using conventional ultrasonic testing because most incident ultrasound passes completely through these cracks. Nonlinear ultrasound inspection using sub-harmonic frequencies a promising method for detecting closed cracks. To implement this method, a sub-harmonic phased array (PA) is proposed to visualize the length of closed cracks in solids. A sub-harmonic PA generally consists of a single transmitter and an array receiver, which detects sub-harmonic waves generated from closed cracks. The PA images are obtained using the total focusing method (TFM), which (with a transmitter and receiving array) employs a full matrix in the observation region to achieve fine image resolution. In particular, the receiving signals are measured using a laser Doppler vibrometer (LDV) to collect PA images for both fundamental and sub-harmonic frequencies. Oblique incidence, which is used to boost sub-harmonic generation, inevitably produces various surface waves that contaminate the signals measured in the receiving transducer. Surface wave interference often degrades PA images severely, and it becomes difficult to read the closed crack's position from the images. Various methods to prevent or eliminate this interference are possible. In particular, enhancing images with signal processing could be a highly cost-effective method. Because periodic patterns distributed in a PA image are the most frequent interference induced by surface waves, spatial frequency filtering is applicable for removing these waves. Experiments clearly demonstrate that the spatial frequency filter improves PA images.

la this paper, a new digital watermarking algorithm using wavelet transform in frequency domain is suggested. The wavelet coefficients of low frequency subband are utilized to embed the watermark, After the original image is transformed using discrete wavelet transform, their coefficients are transformed into efficient1y in Sequency domain. DCT and FFT transforms are utilized in this processing. Watermark image of general image format is transformed using DCT and the hiding watermark into wavelet coefficients is equally distributed in frequency domain. Next, these wavelet coefficients are performed with inverse transform. The detection process of watermark is performed with reverse direction to insertion process. In this paper, we developed core watermark technologies which are a data hiding technology to hide unique logo mark which symbolizes the copyright and a robust protection technology to protect logo data from external attack like as compression, filtering, resampling, cropping. The experimental results show that two suggested watermarking technologies are invisible and robust.

Segmentation and organization of the LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) data of the Earth's surface are difficult tasks because the captured LiDAR data are composed of irregularly distributed point clouds with lack of semantic information. The reason for this difficulty in processing LiDAR data is that the data provide huge amount of the spatial coordinates without topological and/or relational information among the points. This study introduces LiDAR data segmentation technique by utilizing histograms of the LiDAR height image data and analyzing roof shape for 3D reconstruction and visualization of the buildings. One of the advantages in utilizing LiDAR height image data is no registration required because the LiDAR data are geo-referenced and ortho-projected data. In consequence, measurements on the image provide absolute reference coordinates. The LiDAR image allows measurement of the initial building boundaries to estimate locations of the side walls and to form the planar surfaces which represent approximate building footprints. LiDAR points close to each side wall were grouped together then the least-square planar surface fitting with the segmented point clouds was performed to determine precise location of each wall of an building. Finally, roof shape analysis was performed by accumulated slopes along the profiles of the roof top. However, simulated LiDAR data were used for analyzing roof shape because buildings with various shapes of the roof do not exist in the test area. The proposed approach has been tested on the heavily built-up urban residential area. 3D digital vector map produced by digitizing complied aerial photographs was used to evaluate accuracy of the results. Experimental results show efficiency of the proposed methodology for 3D building reconstruction and large scale digital mapping especially for the urban area.

Many researches have been processed to reconstruct corrupted an image by noise in fields of signal processing such as image recognition and compute. vision, and AWGN(additive white gaussian noise) and impulse noise are representative. Impulse noise consists of fired-valued(salt & pepper) impulse noise and random-valued impulse noise, and non-linear filters such as SM(standard median) filters are used to remove this noise. But basic SM filters still generate many errors in edge regions of an image, and in order to overcome this problem a variety of methods have been researched. In this paper, we proposed an impulse noise removal algorithm which is superior to the edge preserving capacity. At this tine, after detecting a noise by using the noise detector, we applied a noise removal algorithm based on the min-max operation and compared the capacity with existing methods through simulation.

Recent development in information and communication technology has been beneficial to many, but at the same time, malicious attack attempts are also increasing through vulnerabilities in new programs. Among malicious attacks, malware operate in various ways and is distributed to people in new ways every time, and to solve this malware, it is necessary to quickly analyze and provide defense techniques. If new malware can be classified into the same type of malware, malware has similar behavioral characteristics, so they can provide defense techniques for new malware using analyzed malware. Therefore, there is a need for a solution to this because the method of accurately and quickly classifying malware and the number of data may not be uniform for each family of analyzed malware. This paper proposes a system that combines image preprocessing and ensemble techniques to increase accuracy in imbalanced data.

The World Wide Web has become the largest virtual system that is almost universal in scope. In recent research, it has become effective to utilize idle hosts existing in the World Wide Web for running applications that require a substantial amount of computation. This novel computing paradigm has been referred to as the advent of global computing. In this paper, we implement and propose a mobile object-based global computing framework called Tiger, whose primary goal is to present novel object-oriented programming libraries that support distribution, dispatching, migration of objects and concurrency among computational activities. The programming libraries provide programmers with access, location and migration transparency for distributed and mobile objects. Tiger's second goal is to provide a system supporting requisites for a global computing environment - scalability, resource and location management. The Tiger system and the programming libraries provided allow a programmer to easily develop an objectoriented parallel and distributed application using globally extended computing resources. We also present the improvement in performance gained by conducting the experiment with highly intensive computations such as parallel fractal image processing and genetic-neuro-fuzzy algorithms.
Recently, distributed collaborative development environment has been recognized an alternative environment for product development in which multidisciplinary participants are naturally involving. Reuse of Product design information has long been recognized as one of core requirements for efficient product development. This paper addresses an image-based retrieval system to support product design information reuse. In the system, product images obtained from multi-modal devices are utilized to reuse design information. The proposed system conducts the segmentation of a product image by using a labeling method and generates an attributed relational graph (ARG) that represents properties of segmented regions and their relationships. The generated ARG is extended by integrating corresponding part/assembly information. In this manner, the reuse of assembly design information using a product image has been realized. The main advantages of the presented system are following. First, the system is not dependent to specific design tools, because it utilizes multimedia images that can be obtained easily from peripheral devices. Second ratio-based features extracted from images enable image retrievals that contain various sizes of parts. Third, the system has shown outstanding search performance, because we applied various information of segmented part regions and their relationships between parts.
