A new multi-level type energy recovery sustaining driver for AC PDP(Plasma Display Panel) is proposed in this paper. The multi-level driver has been developed to reduce the voltage stress on switching elements. Comparing the proposed driver with the conventional multi-level driver, 4 switching elements, 4 diodes, and two auxiliary capacitors are eliminated in the viewpoint of circuit structure. Moreover, the voltage stress on switching elements is more reduced and the sustain period is extended. To verify the validity of the proposed energy recovery circuit, computer simulations using PSpice program are carried out.

This paper tried to identify recognition and historical background about western table decoration. For the study, the documentary study would be accomplished. the range of time was during Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, and Neo-classic period, and the range of space was among Italy, France, and England. Styles for example architectures, interior designs, arts, and sculptures represented their own period, and had great influences on eating habits, and the eating habits would be influent on kitchen utensils. As a results of the fact, the structural elements and decoration of table would be showed different characteristics according to periods of time. Today's food cultural trends consisted of consumption, taste, sense, and consumers' demands become diversified, so the paper would be an important data to understand new designs proper for our own modem sense that cope with modem feeling.

We discuss the design and fabrication of CCD or C-MOS imaging lenses with hybrid diffractive / refractive optics. The hybrid lenses are made of optical grade plastic materials. We have been able to significantly reduce the number of elements while maintaining very high optical quality. This paper describes the conception, design, fabrication and evaluation of hybrid lenses in comparison with conventional refractive lenses. The new lens has excellent optical quality, very light weight, compact size and low manufacturing cost.

A visual display is formed by picture elements, which are optically coupled to optical pathways through which light is supplied from light sources. Light sources, controlled by control hardware, transmit light to the optical pathways by scanning light from the light sources to different optical pathways. The light sources and the optical pathways are mutually oriented so that light from the light sources can be canned to different optical pathways to form the displayed image. Light sources can be mounted to a rotating mounting that rotates past static pathways that transmit coupled light to the waveguide screen.

A solution for carbon nanotube based field emission displays has been designed and built. The solution makes use of structure layout to control electron beam trajectories, uniformity by use of ballasting, emission anomalies eliminated by selective carbon nanotube growth and invisible spacers to maintain the vacuum gap.

Show window display is a technique of arranging goods for sales promotion, namely, motivating and inducing customers to purchase products. It is not simply exhibiting articles but a technical expression of values retained in exhibited articles and an integrated visual art comprehending color, lighting effect, the customers' angle of vision, differentiation from neighboring stores, harmony with properties, assistive roles of relevant goods, and entire messages provided by these elements. Show window display plays the role of a medium that expresses brand images and attracts consumers. Through the medium, the company's brand image is recognized and the recognition determines the trend of brand sales. Brand images planted to consumers seldom change, and wrong recognition affects not only the brand image but also the company image. The present study purposed to suggest show window display employing brand images different from traditional show window display, to examine the effects of brand images on consumers' intention to purchase, and to propose display design.

In this Study, as the structure of smart phone display becomes thin to catch up with slim product trend, the reliability of display module is on the rise as a issue for product design. Especially, almost part of cellular phone should undergo drop test when they fall 1.5m above ground. Thus many manufacturers have considered design guide line using CAE and simulation for more efficive usage of limited resources om the martket. This test simulates the case when cellular phone slips through user's flingers while he is talking on the phone. This paper studies a drop simulation of glass for display in smart phone. This design for reliability improvements are suggested on the basis of the results of FE Analysis and display of smart phone design.

최근 디지털미디어 기술의 발전으로 관객에게 실감 나고 사실적인 전시 체험을 제공하는 몰입형 체험전시들이 늘어나고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 몰입형 체험전시들의 대표사례들을 전시연출 요소를 중심으로 분석하고, 몰입형 체험전시 연출 및 기획에 게임기획 요소를 적용하여 개최 및 운영한 '히어로의 모험' (이하 히어로의 모험) 전시 사례를 소개하였다. 본 전시는 도전, 목표, 갈등, 규칙, 승패와 같은 게임기획 요소를 적용하여, 캐릭터의 갈등구조 설정 및 악당 캐릭터를 물리치는 도전과 목표를 제시하고, 승패를 가루는 전시 게임들을 제공하여, 최종 보스까지 물리치도록 전시를 디자인했다. 연구를 통해 관객의 전시 만족을 위해 게임 요소 적용이 더 효과적이다 보기는 어렵지만, 관객의 콘텐츠 소비 시간을 늘리고 재방문을 높이기 위해서는 게임기획 요소 적용을 고려하는 것을 제언하는 바이다.
