상용 LTCC 원료의 분산 평가 및 최적화 (Evaluation and Optimization of Dispersion in Commercial LTCC Powder)

  • LTCC 공정의 안정화를 위한 기본적인 공정인 분산의 최적화를 위하여 상용 LTCC 분말인 MLS-22(NEG, Japan)를 이용하여 다양한 평가 방법으로 분산성을 평가하였다. 분산제의 종류와 함량을 조절하여 슬러리의 점도, 표면 거칠기, 코팅된 슬러리의 표면 미세구조를 측정하였다. SN-dispersant 9228 분산제를 사용한 경우 0.4wt%첨가되었을 때 최적의 분산 특성을 얻을 수 있었으며 각 평가 방법은 잘 일치하는 분산의 평가 경향을 나타내었다.

Risk Assessment by Vehicle Speed Difference in Climbing Lanes

  • The speed difference in mountainous area is known causing traffic conflicts and accidents. Thus, climbing lanes have popularly been installed in mountainous roads around the world. In the present paper, vehicle speeds within and around climbing lanes of Ho-nam and Jung-ang expressway were collected and evaluated. The evaluation was performed in terms of coefficient of variations which represent dispersion of vehicle speed in climbing lanes. Results show that speed dispersion is more significant at segments before and after climbing lanes than those within climbing lanes. The estimated accident risk was evaluated using The Solomon's u-shaped curve. It was identified that the accident risk is also a lot significant at the same segments as much as 2.2 times greater than those of climbing lanes.

액중 전기선폭발법으로 제조된 구리 나노콜로이드의 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Cu nano-colloid prepared by electrical wire explosion in liquid phase)

  • Cu nano-colloid was prepared by wire electric explosion process under de-mineralized water and anhydrous ethanol. To control the properties of Cu nano-colloid, experimental conditions such as diameter of Cu wire and applied voltage were changed. The optimal Cu nano-colloid was prepared when the 0.1mm diameter of Cu wire with the applied voltage of 2000 V was used. The shape of Cu particles in colloid was spherical and the XRD result revealed that the phase of Cu particles was cubic phase. About 20nm Cu nanoparticles with high crystallinity were successfully prepared using wire explosion process under anhydrous ethanol and they showed more than 100 hours dispersion stability.

  • Carbon nanotubes has a positive effect on the mechanical properties, functionality, and durability of cement-based materials. In this study, carbon nanotube solutions mixed with two different types of superplasticizers were dispersed by high-pressure homogenizer, and used for preparation of cement paste. The 7and 28day compressive strength were evaluated.

Construction of Scientific Impact Evaluation Model Based on Altmetrics

  • Altmetrics is an emergent research area whereby social media is applied as a source of metrics to evaluate scientific impact. Recently, the interest in altmetrics has been growing. Traditional scientific impact evaluation indictors are based on the number of publications, citation counts and peer reviews of a researcher. As research publications were increasingly placed online, usage metrics as well as webometrics appeared. This paper explores the potential benefits of altmetrics and the deep relationship between each metrics. Firstly, we found a weak-to-medium correlation among the 11 altmetrics and visualized such correlation. Secondly, we conducted principal component analysis and exploratory factor analysis on altmetrics of social media, divided the 11 altmetrics into four feature sets, confirming the dispersion and relative concentration of altmetrics groups and developed the altmetrics evaluation model. We can use this model to evaluate the scientific impact of articles on social media.

반무한체와 다층구조 지반에서 러브파 및 레일레이파의 위상속도 분산특성 (The Phase-velocity Dispersion Characteristics of Love Wave and Rayleigh Wave in the Half Space and Multi-layered System)

  • 레일레이파와 러브파는 탄성파 중에서 표면파에 속하는 것으로, 매우 중요한 표면파로 인식되고 있다. 러브파의 파동 전파시 매질내에 발생되는 변형은 SH파와 같은 전단형태이므로, 러브파는 P-파에 의해 교란되지 않는 특성이 있다. 이러한 특성으로 인하여 러브파가 레일레이파나 다른 체적파보다 더 유용한 탄성파로 인식되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 표면파를 활용하는 대표적 실험기법인 SASW 기법에서 러브파를 도입하고자 하는 목적으루 이론적, 수치해석적, 실험적 방법으로 러브파의 위상속도 분산 특성을 연구하였다. 특히, 러브파의 수평성분과 레일레이파의 수직 수평 성분의 특성을 연구하기 위하여, 반무한 지반, 2층 구조의 지반에 대하여 2차원,3차원 유한요소 해석을 수행하였다. 또한, 수치해석으로 획득한 러브파와 레일레이파에 대한 결과를 확인하기 위하여 일반 지반에서 현장실험을 수행하였다. 이와 같은 수치해석과 현장실험을 통하여 러브파의 위상속도 분산특성이 SASW 기법의 정확성과 신뢰성을 더욱 향상시키기 위한 추가 자료로 매우 유용할 것이라는 것을 확인하였다.

현장실험을 통한 축산시설로부터 배출되는 축산악취의 확산 평가 (Evaluation of Odor Dispersion from Livestock Building through Field Experiment)

  • Livestock odor is comprised of mixed type of odorous compounds. Among these, ammonia ($NH_3$) and hydrogen sulfide ($H_2S$) are the two known major odor causing substances. Because high odor concentration reduces productivity of livestock and causes damage to the surrounding communities, quantitative analysis is needed to manage the odor inside and outside the livestock facilities. It is also necessary to evaluate odor dispersion according to the distance between the receptors taking into account the influence of odor source and weather condition. Therefore, in this study, we tried to evaluate the internal environment and odor dispersion from experimental pig house considering weather conditions. An experimental farm was specifically selected to eliminate the interference of odors generated by adjacent farms. $NH_3$ and complex odor were quantitatively analyzed using a gas detector and air dilution sensory method. The concentration of $NH_3$ and complex odor in pig house showed a distinct concentration difference according to the cleaning and ventilation conditions. $NH_3$ concentration and complex odor was lower than emission standard in the pig house and at the site boundary. The average $NH_3$ concentration (P1~P3) and the $NH_3$ concentration at the site boundary (S1) were strongly correlated with R=0.77. While the correlation for complex odor inside and at the site boundary had R=0.52. The correlation coefficient between $NH_3$ and the complex odor was 0.80.

측정 불확도 표현 지침서(GUM)와 Monte-Carlo Simulation에 의한 불확도 전파 결과의 비교 연구 (A Study on Comparison between the Propagation of Uncertainty by GUM and Monte-Carlo Simulation)

  • 측정 및 화학분석에 많이 이용되는 한 점 교정식에 대하여 측정 불확도 표기 지침서(GUM)의 근사법과 Monte-Carlo Simulation에 의해 계산된 각각의 확장불확도를 비교하였다. 이 비교를 위하여 임의의 자료들을 여러 농도 수준에서 정규 분포 또는 t-분포로 가정하여 계산하였다. 나눗셈에 의한 한 점 교정식의 비선형성과 t-분포 형식을 함에 따른 입력량의 과도한 퍼짐으로 인하여, 경우에 따라서, GUM의 근사법으로 계산된 불확도가 Monte-Carlo Simulation에 의해 계산된 것보다 약 50% 이상의 오류가 있다는 것이 확인되었다. 그러나, 검출 하한을 계산하기 위하여 한 점 교정식을 이용하는 경우, 반응량의 표준불확도가 상대적으로 매우 크고 비선형성에 희한 계산 오류가 상대적으로 무시되므로 근사식에 따른 계산 오류가 발생하지 않았다.

  • The destructive method is reliable and widely used for the estimation of material degradation but, it have time-consuming and a great difficulty in preparing specimens from in-service industrial facilities. Therefore, the estimation of degraded structural materials by nondestructive evaluation is strongly desired. In this paper, the use of guided wave was suggested for the evaluation of thermally damaged 2.25 Cr-lMo steel as an alternative way to compensate for limitations of fracture tests. The observation of microstructure variations of the material including carbide precipitation increase and spheroidization near grain boundary was conducted and the correlation with the guided wave features such as energy loss ratio and group velocity changes was investigated. Through this study, the feasibility of ultrasonic guided wave evaluation for thermally damaged materials was explored.
