  • In this paper, a control strategy of position and force is proposed based on a switching algorithm. The main focus is the control of position and force in the same direction. The switching algorithm based on a fuzzy algorithm determines the weighting value of force control. First, the force control is dominant. If the position gets closer to the desire position, the weighting value of force control is closer to zero. The proposed algorithm is shown to be satisfactory to position and force control and the weighting factor is quite successful by simulation examples.

  • In order to ensure the flow of goods available and more flexible, reduce labor costs, many factories and industrial zones around the world are gradually moving to use automated solutions. One of them is to use Automated guided vehicles (AGV). Currently, there are a line tracing method as an AGV operating method, and a method of estimating the current position of the AGV and matching with a factory map and knowing the moving direction of the AGV. In this paper, we propose ceiling Light and guided line based moving direction estimation algorithm using multi-camera on the AGV in smart factory that can operate stable AGV by compensating the disadvantages of existing AGV operation method. The proposed algorithm is able to estimate its position and direction using a general - purpose camera instead of a sensor. Based on this, it can correct its movement error and estimate its own movement path.

  • The salient pole rotor type single phase SRM has a salient pole in the rotor in order to use axial direction fluxes and radial direction fluxes simultaneously. A flux linkage between the rotor and the stator are increased because of the salient pole in the rotor. But, the inductance at unaligned position and aligned position is increased together. Therefore, the length of pole are and salient pole should be selected that the inductance increment at aligned position is higher than the inductance increment at unaligned position. On this paper, we will be studied the influence of the pole arc and the salient pole length on the torque of the salient pole rotor type single phase SRM.

  • The critical factors affecting the esthetics of anterior implants can be summarized as following: 1) Correct positioning of implant fixture 2) Enough amount of alveolar bone 3) Optimum volume of soft tissue. The position of implant is probably the most important factor in obtaining esthetic treatment outcome. The 3-dimensional orientation of implant is determined by the position on the alveolar ridge and its direction. Clinicians often try to mimic natural teeth when fabricating restorations. During the course of esthetic diagnosis and treatment, however, one should not forget to consider the correlation between facial pattern, lips, gingiva, alveolar ridge, as well as remaining dentition. Since anterior region is biologically unfavorable when compared with posterior region, one minor discrepancy in positioning of implant can cause esthetically undesirable treatment outcome. If one understands the biological and prosthetic meaning of implant's 3-dimensional position, he or she can achieve superior esthetic outcome in anterior region.

  • This paper discusses the influencing factors such as coring position, height to diameter ratio of core specimen(h/d) and coring torque on the strength estimation of concrete by small site coring method in order to verify the validities of small size core method. According to results, as for the influence of drilling position, when core specimens are obtained from the place parallel to placing direction, compressive strength of core specimens are higher than those perpendicular to placing direction. This is due to the loss of the area of core specimen perpendicular to plating direction by bleeding. And in case of $\phi$ 24mm core specimen, when vertical drilling against placing direction is taken. compressive strength of core specimen obtained at the bottom of the structure is higher than that at the top of the structure. As for the influence of height to depth ratio, as h/d ratio increases compressive strength shows to be decreased. As for the influences of rotation speed of drilling machine, as its speed goes up, compressive strength decreases, regardless of core diameter.

  • In the conventional direction finding, the antenna is installed at a high position on the ground to detect the position of the target with the environment of the LOS(Line of Sight) as much as the signal receiving environment. However, in order to configure such environment, high cost and installation time were required. In this paper, we use TDOA(Time Difference of Arrival) technique to utilize drones in direction finding, so that four drones can be used for directions finding simulation. Simulations based on drone and TDOA direction finding were constructed using additional signal processing Taylor series and Exact Interactive Algorithm. In the simulation, the receiving power is defined by using the 800MHz path-loss model using the GPS information of the ground direction detection, and the position estimation performance is analyzed when the TDOA technique, the Taylor series, and the Exact Interactive Alogrithm are applied.

  • As recent research on home service robot has been performed actively in these days. It becomes very important for the robot to react upon voice and sound source, and then tracks an object position in dynamic environment like a home. When people choose a path for finding a destination of objects, in case of sound, they track a direction of the sound source. Or in case as a position of the object be girded with a point on map, people track the position according to absolute orientation of the present position and the sound source position. In this paper, In this manner we had views on what people decide own direction when they react one's voice or go some directions. We suggest a algorithm that intelligent mobile robots on which we installed a sound source tracking board and a digital magnetic compass board go some object's positions by the direction of sound source and absolute orientation.

  • In the past the jaw and occlusal relationship in centric occlusion were merely considered in case of orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning. As the fact that functional disturbance of the temporomandibular joint may be caused by occlusal interference was recognized, the importance of functional occlusion and centric relation is emphasized today. Known the importance of centric relation, there are various opinions about definition of centric relation and its taking methods. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relative centric condyle position and to compare the reproducibility of the recordings utilizing different centric relation records obtained by different taking methods. The 15 adults with normal occlusion were participated in this study. Every four centric relation records were taken in each of three methods - leaf gauge, Dawson and myomonitor method. Then the relative centric condyle position, the distance between the condylar position in centric occlusion and the position in centric relation and the reproducibility were studied using SAM 2 articulator and mandibular position indicator. The results were as follows ; 1. The trend of condyle position was different depending on centric relation taking methods. 2. The position of condyle in centric relation by leaf gauge and Dawson methods was superior to that by myomonitor method, and the position by myomonitor method was relatively antero-inferior. 3. The distance between the condylar positions in centric occlusion and the position in centric relation was longest in myomonitor method. 4. The reproducibility had little differences in transverse direction among three methods, while leaf gauge method showed the highest reproducibility and myomonitor method did the lowest reproducibility in antero-posterior and supero-inferior direction.

  • The purpose of this study is as follows: First, we restore the optimal topographical environment of the Bronze Age settlements in the Yongdu Stream and its surrounding area in Asan City. Second, we reveal the relative importance of the topographical factors that the Bronze Age people considered when selecting their dwelling locations. We compared and analyzed topographical factors (ridge scale, ridge direction, slope direction of the ridge, micro-landform of the ridge, position of the ridge) from the ridge's environmental perspective of 123 Bronze Age dwellings (hereinafter referred to as dwellings) found in the survey area for that purpose. The results are as follows: First, from a macro perspective, the optimal topographical environment for the location of the Bronze Age settlement is the second ridge that have the E-W direction. And from a micro perspective, it is the southeast direction slope of the Crest slope at the summit. Second, it appears that the Bronze Age people have taken important consideration in determining the location of their dwelling in the following order: ① position (eg. summit), ② micro-landform (eg. Crest slope, Upper slope), ③ slope direction (eg. southward, South, Southeast), ④ scale (eg. sub-ridge, secondary, tertiary), ⑤ direction (eg. E-W, NNE-SSE).
