This paper examined economic liberalization and corruption in ASEAN member affect Korea's foreign direct investment. We use 160 (country-year) observations from ASEAN 10 member countries for a period of 16 years from 2001 to 2016, with the Economic Liberalization Index provided by the Fraser Institute and the corruption recognition index provided by the International Transparency Organization. As results, economic liberalization showed a non-linear(U shaped) effect on foreign direct investment and corruption has a negative effect on foreign direct investment.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate farmer's general contents on the current direct payment schemes and to derive some improvement measures, based on the survey data for the three types of direct payment schemes currently executed in Korea; Rice Farmer's Income Support, Early Retirement Aged Farmer's Support and Less Favored Area Direct Payment. In recent years we have introduced diverse direct payment schemes that are expected to have immediate effects in a short term period without enough preparation of the policy, which raises some contradiction between the agricultural policy and the original purpose of the direct payments. The result shows some important revisions should be made related the direct payment schemes, such as farmer's income stability through the improvement of unit payment and the payment length jointed with criteria of the payment, in addition to keeping up multifunctionality of agriculture and enhancing the effect of structural adjustment in agriculture.

Direct quantification of methanol in polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) by solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy was studied and the methanol concentrations in PEM produced by crossover and diffusion were compared. The error range of the quantification was not smaller than ${\pm}15%$ and the amount of the methanol crossed over in our direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) was less than the methanol diffused to PEM. The methanol concentration in the PEM of the DMFC operated at different current densities were equivalent.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of operating the Direct Payment Program for Rural Landscape Preservation and to derive the way of improvement based on case study for three areas in Bonghwa-gun, Cheongwon-gun, Hongseong-gun. The most important factor for the program is farmer's consciousness and positive participation of the farmer who are the subject of this project. Even if farmers are not satisfied with the amount of direct payment income, they try to create income by utilizing landscape preservation crops. Particularly current unit payment dose not surpass the for the crops farm operating costs and payment time is not appropriate for the farming cycle. Hence, it needs to be considered increasing unit payment and rearranging the payment time. Also, we need to introduce incentive system based the degree of fulfillment of the Direct Payment Program in each areas. In general the Direct Payment Program for Rural Landscape Preservation has potentiality to contribute farmer's income stability and the vitalization of region with three revisions.

To see sunlight condition around in storage room, this study analyzers the scope both of sunlight and of the shade of sun into upper and lower window according to seasons. For this, this study investigates sun's seasonal changes, its effect of sunlight and notes antinomic conditions for ventilation and draft performance. In this, Architects of Jangkyunggak tride to block discoloration and fading due to ultraviolet rays and visible rays and block deterioration drying of the surface of Kyung-Pan due to infrared rays by oppressing sunlight flowing by means of narrowing the area of the upper window at front face that has a direct influence of Pan-Ga to avoid the exposure to direct sunlight.

Ni-$TiO_2$ nano composite coatings were fabricated using pulse current electrodeposition technique at 100 Hz pulse frequency with a constant 50% pulse duty cycles and reference was taken with respect to the direct current (dc) electrodeposition. The properties of the composite coatings were investigated by using SEM, XRD, Wear test and Vicker's microhardness test. Pulse electrodeposited composite has exhibited enhancement of (111), (220), and (311) diffraction lines with an attenuation of (200) line. The results demonstrated that the microhardness of composite coatings under pulse condition was significantly improved than that of pure nickel coating as well as dc electrodeposited Ni-$TiO_2$ composite coatings. Wear tracks have shown the less plastic deformation in pulse plated composite. Coefficient of friction was also found to be lower in pulse plated composite coatings as compared to dc plated composite coatings.

In this paper, we investigate the stability of a functional equation $$2f(ax+by)+abf(x-y)+abf(y-x)-{\frac{2af((a+b)x)}{a+b}}-{\frac{bf((a+b)y)}{a+b}}-{\frac{bf(-(a+b)y)}{a+b}}=o$$ by applying the direct method in the sense of Hyers and Ulam.

To track the target trajectory with maneuvers, unknown maneuvering inputs must be estimated. To do this the direct estimation algorithm using generalized least square technique is developed based on the procedure of failure detection and identification(FDI) theory. Through the simulation using maneuvering target scenario, tracking performance and efficiency of the algorithm developed here are investigated.
