The purpose of this experiment was to investigate the leisons of mice produced by intraperitoneal injection of rubratoxin B. But the mice injected 3$\mu$g and 5$\mu$g of rubratoxin B showed retardation of growth, and slight swelling of kidneys. The hemorrhage in the renal cortex tubular dilation containing the desquamated epithelial cells, and adhesion of Bowman's spaces by proliferation of endothelial cells were histopathoglogically characterized in the kidneys of mice.

In general, a differential operator can be used as a tool of treating the local properties of given function. However, when the given function is varied with high frequency and has irregular form with non-stationary evolution it may not act its role sufficiently as in case of nowhere differentiable curves. In this paper we introduce a multi-scale derivative as a form of weakened global derivative so that it may explain its semi global diffusion properties as well as local ones for the various irregular diffusion phenomena.

A new gray-scale thinning algorithm using local min/max operations is proposed. In this method, erosion and dilation properties of local min/max operations are using for generating new rides and detecting ridges in gray scale image, and gray-scale skeletons are gradually obtained by accumulating the detected ridges. This method can be applicable to the unsegmented image in which object are not specified, and the obtained skeletons correspond to the ridges (high gray values) of an input image.

We determine two-interval normalized tight frame wavelet sets for real dilation $d{\in}(1,{\infty})$, and characterize all symmetric normalized tight frame wavelet sets. We also construct a normalized tight frame wavelet set which has an infinite number of components accumulating at the origin. These normalized tight frame wavelet sets and their closures possess the same measure. Finally an example of a normalized tight frame wavelet set is provided whose measure is strictly less than the measure of its closure.

In this paper, we construct new classes from the idea of [6, Theorem 2.1] and show that the property of operators belonging to the classes is inherited by certain dilations. And we also prove that the existence of common noncyclic vectors for certain families is equivalent to the existence of infinite dimensional common semi-invariant subspace of operators.

This case describes a tracheal stenosis complicated by endobronchial truberculosis. A 50-year-old female with progressive dyspnea was referred to us for the management of long segmental tracheal stenosis. Treatment modalities for tracheal stenosis include open surgical resectin and reconstruction, mechanical dilation, laser resection, and placement of an airway prosthesis. The following is a report of a successful treatment of a long segmental tracheal stenosis through a tracheal augmentation and the use of al Bovine pericardium. This technique may provide a relief from tracheal stenosis.

This paper suggests the operation performing the noise elimination of binary image. The image is read by the scanner. And operand is selected according to the size of input image. Through the Dilation and Erosion, elementary vector operation with selected operand, the noise of input image is eliminated.

We propose a new meshfree method to be called the fast moving least square reproducing kernel collocation method(FCM). This methodology is composed of the fast moving least square reproducing kernel(FMLSRK) approximation and the point collocation scheme. Using point collocation makes the meshfree method really come true. In this paper, FCM Is shown to be a good method at least to calculate the numerical solutions governed by second order elliptic partial differential equations with geometric singularity or geometric multi-scales. To treat such problems, we use the concept of variable dilation parameter.

본 논문은 영상에서 형태적 정보를 추출하는데 사용되는 수학적 형태학(mathematical morphology)에 퍼지 집합 이론을 적용하여 새로운 퍼지 수학적 형태학을 제안한다. 일반적인 수학적 형태학은 이진 영상에만 적용되는 한계를 가지고 있었다. 이를 그레이 스케일 영상에도 적용 가능하도록 한 Sinha와 Dougherty[8]이 제안한 방법도 기하학적 형태 변환을 보장하지 못하는 결점이 있었는데 본 논문에서는 그 결점을 제거하는 새로운 수축(erosion)과 확장(dilation) 연산을 정의하고 그 특성을 연구하였다. 본 논문이 제안한 방법과 [8]의 방법을 실제 영상에 대한 실험으로 비교하였다.

In this paper, the circuit of DTCNN designed using dilation and erosion operation, a basic operation of gray-scale morphology, also each cell designed PE in order to having extension using the local connectivity. In this PE design, connection of between cell and cell become simple. And it is realized to easily VLSI realization as well as to circuit to be parallel processing. As the resutls of simulations, the proposed method was verified to improved more operation speed than the sequential data processing, parallel processing DTCNN was implemented in a 0.8.mu.m CMOS technology using COMPASS Tool.
